  • This video shows you one of my recipes on how cook squirrel. Most of the time when you cook squirrel it can be rubbery and chewy.. This recipe is good for keeping squirrel good and tender. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching and subscribe to my channel for more recipes if you'd like!

Is it still on the bone

No I actually cut the meat off the bone. Soak it in salt water for a few hours to a day and it comes off alot easier in my personal opinion.

Or you could slow cook it or pressure cook it off the bone as well. As the say "there's all kinds of different ways to skin a cat" haha.

Six squirrel stew. Looking for someone to skin em and separate the legs and head, then hand over to me to cook! Please call if you can and we’ll eat well …..!!
Can you take in the savory aroma? Mmmmm

Takes six to eight squirrels. That’s all. I can trap 8.

Thanks Steven I hope it works good for ya buddy. The longer ya cook it on low heat, the better it is and it's more tender. I've done it a few more times, and it seems to work a little better too. Thanks for watching, commenting, and liking my video Steven. I appreciate it buddy!

Thanks, Robert. I really appreciate that! Also, another good way is 23 minutes on high, in an instapot. Meat peels right off the bone. Let it cool for 5 minutes, or you'll burn your fingerprints off, lol. I made a video for it but haven't posted it yet. I've just been busy with my job.

Thank ya! Slow cooking or pressure cooking rabbit is the way to go. It's not that rubbery consistency or tough. Thank ya for watching and have a safe and Happy New Years!

Thanks buddy! Thanks for watching! I appreciate all the support. I always do catch and cooks bc I don't want an animal Karen to say I kill poor animals for fun. I'd rather eat wild game than anything else.
