Easy to Bake Basic Chiffon Cake

  • Who said you can't have your cake and eat it too? Before we can come up with extravagant cake recipe we need to learn the basic.
    For this recipe we'll bake the classic chiffon cake, it’s a blank slate for layer cakes that you can cover with different frosting. On our next vlog we will show you how to make
    Italian buttercream and cream cheese frosting.
    To come up with the pillowy texture of the ethereal chiffon cake we'll need the following ingredients.
    Meringue
    5 pcs Egg Whites
    1/2 tsp or 2 g Cream of Tartar
    10 tbsp or 125 g White Sugar
    Batter
    5pcs. Egg Yolks
    1/2 cup or 75 g Vegetable Oil
    1/2cup + 1tbsp or 108 g White Sugar
    1/2 tsp or 3 g Salt
    3 tbsp or 45 g Water
    1/2 tsp or 10 g Vanilla
    1 and 1/4 cup or 160 g Sifted Cake Flour
    1/2 tsp or 2.5 g Baking Powder
    (note: if you follow the measurement in cups or spoons stick to it same goes to grams they both works fine don't get confused but i suggest to follow measurements by grams)
    Baking Temperature: 160 degrees centigrade
    Baking Time: 55 to 60 minutes

    Paulit ulit kong niloloto itong recipe na to. Nakapa sarap talaga. At take note. Pwd sya e-steamed basta kailangan lang icovered ng aluminum foil. Ang sarap at mas umuusbong pag steamed

    Sa dinami dami ko ng nasubukan gayahin sa mga chiffon cake recipe d2 sa youtube eto lang talaga ung naperfect ko.. soft & fluffy talaga sya 🤩 unlike sa kinakalabasan ng gawa ko sa iba ndi fluffy siksik ung loob nya kaya nakakaumay agad kainin.
    Nag add lang ako ng lemon zest sa ginawa ko para mas luminamnam pa sya, tsaka wala din ako cream of tartar kaya vinegar nalang isinubstitute ko same measurements lang (nagsearch lang ako sa google at ok na ok naman kinalabasan ng meringue ko)

      Yes you can po but the texture of the cake will be a little bit stiff because apf has more protein than cake flour

    Thanks for this basic chiffon recipe po! Crumbs pa lang ang sarap na. It’s soft and fluffy! The best chiffon cake recipe I have ever tried!
    I tried to bake the whole recipe in 2 regular 7” cake pans for 55 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius! It turned out beautifully cooked and perfect cake top! ❤️❤️❤️

    I never baked chiffon cake before cause its so intimidating..I was not that confident until yesterday I decided for the first time, using this recipe..But since I don't have Cake flour I substituted it with AFP + Cornstarch. I followed the rest of the steps..and guess what, it turned out to be perfect..thank you so much, Ill this recipe from now on

    Thank you so much for your wonderful recipe.. i already tried your exact measurement except the sugar by adjusting it from 1 1/4 into 3/4 cup total only.. it was really great, not too sweet unlike the other sponge cake recipe with butter(too sweet at mas magastos pa)..your chiffon cake is recommended and will be on my list for my basic sponge cake.. thank you so much

    Ang sarap po nito kggw kolang kanina at Ang lambot kinakabahan po ako habang wait ko Cyang maluto kc po steam lang po yung akin no oven papo kc ako hehe. Salamat po.

    almost perfect po..mdyo sobrang tamis lng po.. cgro 1/2cup sugar lng illgy s egg yolk...pero perfect ang fluppyness nya..👍👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌

      Ang nakalagay nga po sa video ay ¾ cup, pero sa description box ay ½ cup + 1tbsp po. Kaya nalito po ako.

    Chef after ko mapanuod to, gumawa agad ako kasi gusto ko talaga matutunan ang chiffon. first attempt ko at hindi ako makapaniwala. kasi takot tlaga ako sa recipe n'to kasi ang hirap kapag hindi naging stable ung merangue. pero ang galing nagawa ko sya. sana magawa ko ulit sa susunod 🥰thank u po chef 💕
