  • The ILM 726x is a versatile, safe, modular helmet perfect for eScooters, mopeds and electric skateboards. The lightweight, removable chin guard, and retractable visor, make it comfortable to wear, and it meets FMVSS and DOT safety standards so it's save to use on your commute. I’ve been using mine for the last 5 months on my Vsette 9+ electric scooter and I love it!
    At $100 dollars this is on the lower end of the scale and quite a bargain in my opinion. And if you are interested in the clear visor that is also available for an additional $15. See links below.

    So if you are looking for a quality 3/4 half face helmet I would definitely keep the ILM 726x on your short list. The removable pad inserts, and replaceable visor, make it a good investment that should last you a long time. I would have no problem recommending this helmet to anyone.

    Super video Sage. This helmet looks great, it has a very futuristic shape, I like that. The comparison with Space Balls was great😂. The price is really good.
    Thanks for your test and all the information buddy.
    I'm always amazed at how fast your scooter rides🤘

      Thanks Christoph. Yeah, it goes pretty fast and the regular MTB helmet was not safe enough. I'm glad I found this to replace it.

    My ILM helmet arrived today and love it. I usually fit a med size but heard these run alittle tight so went for a large. Glad i did as large fits me perfect. Also nobody mentions this but helmet also has the round spaces built in to fit bluetooth speakers.

      Right on Vinnie. And thank you for letting me know about the sizing, I think viewers will find that helpful. Regarding the speakers, I don't ride with music so I was not able to test that out, but LMK how that goes.

    As a cyclist, I can definitely appreciate the importance of finding a helmet that is both safe and comfortable to wear. That's why I was really impressed with the ILM 726x modular helmet featured in this video. The modular design of the helmet also allows for easy adjustments and customization, making it a versatile choice for cyclists of all levels. As a Professional Cyclist from Switzerland, I would highly recommend the ILM 726x modular helmet to any cyclist looking for a high-quality, safe, and comfortable helmet that can adapt to their needs. Thanks for sharing this informative video with us!

      Right on, thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure I would wear this for road cycling or mountain biking, but I think I could work well as a commuter helmet for ebike. What do you currently use for a helmet?

    Great review as always Sage... And you're right... It does look a bit Dark Helmety... But a lot of the "removable chin bar" helments do... It's got less to do with the roundness and more to do with how close they make the chin bar to the chin. Which makes it... More round...

    If your not a snow skier you ought to be from what I could see at the 5:05 mark. I came to see the review of the helmet and damn I wish to one day ride like that. Granted I don't have a stand-up scooter yet and that's mainly for example what I can see in your ability to have your arms at almost 90 degree to the handlebars when riding. At almost 6'5" I have yet to find a scooter that fits my build in that way. And the closest ones are always naturally the biggest, most expensive, badass scooters that are only cool to a degree for me. Alas, the search continues lol.

    There is a European equivalent like for like called a Spada storm , exact same weight too was worried would be too heavy for use on a mtn bike, but it’s converted to electric so need safety can you advise ?

    • @TrailSage
      @TrailSage  24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It would certainly be safe enough however I would not recommend it for a mountain bike ride. There is just not enough ventilation. Also compared to a true MTB helmet this would be extremely heavy. Hope that helps Jack.
