You should watch the amazing digital circus regardless of what the community is like. The animation and atmosphere of the "world" is awesome. I love how it just lures you in thinking it's cutesy
1:33 I feel like the unlock weapons would win, just because a lot of unlock weapons are stronger than stock weapons like the Eyelander, Demoknight, The Diamond Back, The Direct Hit, etc.
On the other hand, however, stock weapons are heavily underappreciated and are great all-rounder weaponry. That Scattergun can still pick off a Medic in two clean meatshots, Soldier can still rocket jump around and take out Sentry Nests from afar, flames are flames & airblast is airblast, Demoman's default stickybomb launcher and grenade launcher are super deadly in the hands of a skilled player. Heavy could be a bit shite, but good Engineers know that their shotgun and pistol are effective weapons at taking out overconfident enemies even when their buildings aren't around. Stock Sniper can still one-shot enemies from across the map, & Spy can still do his job just as effectively. I think both sides would be relatively evenly-matched depending on the gamemode, and it'd come down to a battle of skill, but if I had to say that one side had an advantage, Stock Ubercharge is hands-down one of if not THE most powerful thing in TF2.

cathook was the original base code for the bots. Sadly people have made alternatives to cathook way before this happened. On the bright side, this github takedown was done by a small group of people, some I think were former bot hosters, who are enraged by how low Omegatronic, an infamous hacker/troll, was willing to go for clout. For context he posted himself on social media making fun of the Rick May statues, essentially stomping on someone's grave while in front of mourners. While it was expected that he would be attacked for this, seriously no community is gonna show a grave stomper mercy, I cannot condone the use of doxxing even if its to ruin a troll.
I'd highly recommend watching The Amazing Digital Circus. And to watch it especially. Don't just watch it like you watch a regular TH-cam video. Take your biggest and highest quality screen, sit down with some drink, food, blankets and whatnot, and just fully take the time to immerse yourself into the Circus. Trust me, it's worth it. These inverted weapons remind me of a mechanic from the old editions of D&D where a lot of spells would have a reverse equivalent and you'd choose between them, for example CURE serious wounds and CAUSE serious wounds. Or funniest of all, Raise Dead and SLAY LIVING.
The Amazing Digital Circus is ABSOLUTELY worth watching. Yes the community may have some weird parts, but the neat thing about watching stuff like this is that you don't need to interact with them if you don't want to. But in my personal experience most of the community is just a pretty regular community which is just REALLY hyped up for anything related to the circus. Mind you, with good reason. The quality of the story, the animation, the jokes, the tiny little details and especially also the music.... All of it will absolutely blow you away. It definitely deserves the title of "Amazing" maybe more. So I highly recommend it, 100%! Go watch it on the biggest and highest quality screen you can find. Really take the time to watch it. Make it an occasion. Drink, food, blankets, and comfy seating. Really sit down to watch it especially. Try to minimize interruptions, so I don't think I'd recommend reacting to it, lest you miss something Amazing. But I can't recommend one way or another since that. Cause I haven't done something like that, so I don't know how it'll affect your enjoyment. But I'm interested to know for sure what you think of the show! Please do watch it! You'll thank me later!
