I remember his name always popping up but somehow never noticed how good (or steezy) he was until watching this. A lot of my favourite stuff in this... late shuvs, nollie bigspins, trey flip tail grab, nice little transition stuff ... I don't get how I missed him. Flip team was my favourite as well... Maybe I was finishing up when he was showing up (early 00s)
this is just because this type of style was popular back in the day. but skateboarding has become olympic, and style doesnt matter. sheckler made not having style acceptable. and its wild. i think marks problem is he wasnt very marketable. he didnt do the biggest or craziest shit, so he wasnt good in photos, and he didnt really do comps. just demos. look up videoradio the circa video, its pretty much a bromance between jamie thomas, tom penny, and chad muska. and appleyard makes a few parts with him in it. very under rated video.
The best skaters NEVERER NEGLECTED transition skills? It is almost a necessity. Appleyard, Bachinsky, Daewon, DWay, BobB, Duncomb, Penny, Markovich, Jerry Hsu, Kirchart, Yuto, ShaneONeil, etc.
Everything looking smooth, steezy and Easy for him.
thank god for this channel i miss the tracklist ... you have best hip hop
Style and making it look Eazy=STEEZY
Top 5
Definitely one of the most underrated skaters! He's not talked about a lot especially that flip team, it was so a head of it's time!
He was literally skater of the year
maybe people outside of skateboarding, but every skater i have known thinks the sorry series from flip were some of the best skate videos of the era
Underrated? What are you talking about. 😂
IMO Apples is Top 5 ALL TIME
Cause you grew up with him, as did I.. but as things grow you should adapt. I think luan took his spot and then Carlos . And I can’t wait for the next
@@allis8379he did say it was his opinion. You are probably right but that's his top 5 that you can't change. JS.
@@allis8379 There is not one Luan part that will be held in regard the way Apples' Sorry part will be
@@nicolasbaker9601yea. Luan is great. But MA is MA. Luan probably looks up to MA.
The commentary in these videos is so Steezy
Well the audio is wrong. He didn't break through while on Globe back in 2002. He skated for Circa back then. Globe came much later. I would say 2010
I remember him skating for platinum then expedition
Globe in late 04/05 dumbasses !
n s. wadya spect from garb channel ?
Appleyard was also one of the most hyped ams going back to habitat / alphanumeric days. he broke through way before flip even
circa ma402 were the best!!!!
Antwaun Dixon and Darrell Stanton need a vid like this they were the kings of what the new school calls steeze. Honorable mention Donovan strain
