    I will always be a huge fan of him as a fighter, but his coaching is incredible, the level of detail he gives. More importantly he explains the reasons for these adjustments. I take a lot of inspiration from him in my own coaching.

    Am i the only one who thinks that it would be Great to have a martial art/Combat sport that only allows boxing (with the addition of backists and spinning backfists) + all muay thai elbows
    All done in mma gloves and maybe even allowing some no gi throws (no ground game tho, maybe just some Quick ground an pound Like in karate Combat).
    There would be a lot of focus on hand trappings and arm positioning in the clinch.
    I know it wouldnt be as complete as muay thai but it would be an awesome self defence System which incorporates all you can do to hit with your arms

    Is there no pivot in lead foot when doing a hook? Or is that just in boxing? Thanks

    • @hansolo6079
      @hansolo6079 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Though i've seen some thai fighters pivot, it's not common practice, because it leaves the front leg wide open for a low kick. one which you won't be able to check at all + your knee would already be bent sideways before the impact - that's nasty :0
      i think his hands are great! imagine he'd only be straight up boxing. damn, he would hit even harder.

    • @CodWiiPro
      @CodWiiPro 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Appreciate it. My Kru told me not to pivot as well, he showed me exactly why. In which ur response corresponded to what he had said when i was at training.
