🤣🤣 he's quality. I haven't trained in ages and the wrong side of 40, but he's kinda made me get the muay thai mojo back on. Dust off the cobwebbs. It's the mark of a good coach that creates that enthusiasm.
“A lot of people think that squishing the tea bag to the side is the best method to get the most amount of tea in. But when you squish the tea in, the tea becomes less effective because you’re forcing the tea to come out. That’s what you don’t want, too dangerous. So when the tea’s settling, don’t just squish the tea, let it simmer. It’s as simple as that. Done right, you don’t need any power or range or even technique. When the tea’s there, let it settle for thirty seconds, grab the spoon, take the bag out and chuck it into the bin. I like to do this when I’m making a black tea because of the nature of the tea being settled for a long period of time, it’s such a simple yet overlooked technique. But when you use it, you’ll notice the effectiveness every time.”
Using your lead leg to raise the knee and jam up the teep works nicely th-cam.com/video/piixz4kPsYU/w-d-xo.html it’s shown in the video here I forget what time tho
I'm Irish, so I have much experience understanding English blokes. But the Yanks will need subtitles on Liam's future videos. One of my USA friends sent me this link and asked me to translate it for him :0 :)
0:27 No form of defence is perfect, the elbow swipe is still open to fake teep to head kick like the one Allazov landed on Superbon, the key is to switch it up and not be predictable.
Could someone help me out ?! What is this "Premiere in" thing ? why do we have to wait for the video ? Is it that thiz video is actually going to be a LIVE stream ? Or, is there a new setup on youtube where you can decide when you want it to upload ?!
The defense of the teep with the right elbow is not a wise defense, what if the guy who gives the teep fakes it and makes a nasty spinning right elbow on the head or a spinning back fist or a spinning back kick on the liver, you're fucked. That left hook will miss
A teep you can't push aside with leverage of your hip mate using your elbow. That is bollocks. And if you drop an ankle and pull yourself in you lose your advantage. What's with that cheap shot after? He has arms up he can just go wide with the arms and catch that. The legsweep is good that works. That is classic thai. The rest is barfight.
A proper front teep cannot be countered or stepped out of. No one ever caught my teeps. Always thrown them from fake swap kicks and using my arms to cover the sight of the opponent. Quick spring like motion. It is way too fast and if not performed on its own but combined into cheat kicks legkicks or faked punches no one will stop em. Not even Senchai or Buakaw. Defense is always theorical anyway. Good to have it, but focusing on aggressive approach is more fruitful in my opinion than balanced fight style. Choose angle, step in demolish, follow up with clinch over body under arms etc ,throw.
Liam could probably have a tutorial on how to make a proper cup of tea and make it look devastating hahaha
sargentmuaythai hahaha 😂

Excellent trainer - excellent tips to try with my students, thank you.
God bless you for sharing knowledge . thank you
Perfect gonna try the elbow deflect next sparring session
Such a humble guy. "Alot of people do it this way. Personally, it doesn't work for me in particular"
Wicked, just what I needed, got caught by a few teeps TODAY! Will be using these next time. Keep drilling!
Damn, you can tell this guy is for real. No nonsense, just brutal.
spectacular instruction. thank you.
This guy is a bonafide tie killer what a legend
Brilliant video again from Liam very well detailed and a great teacher as well as one of the best Muay Thai fighters to come out the UK!!!
Simply amazing, love his way to explain and share his skills, thank you Liam
Thank you so much Liam for this fantastic session.
I love this channel
All of these examples involve standing still or stepping backwards, how do you deal with the Teep when you're moving forward?

I really enjoyed watching this, thank you. How about a video on defending against southpaw or right foot forward "teep-ers".
Love it!
liam is stupid fast. its unreal
Great video
Trying to figure out how to mix it up if you south paw.

Really splendide .
Im going to try this on sparring day😁😈👊
Excelente
Will be great if you can add clips where these are used in actual fights
nice
Is this the infamous dutch style?
Wow👏👏👏
After watching this I think I need a left hook tutorial! Christ!!
Does this work the same in open stance?
Could someone help me out ?! What is this "Premiere in" thing ? why do we have to wait for the video ? Is it that thiz video is actually going to be a LIVE stream ? Or, is there a new setup on youtube where you can decide when you want it to upload ?!
Liam’s footsteps sound like fucking gun shots
Would transitioning to a reverse kick after having your teep parried plausible
Wouldnt hitting a shin w ur elbow (first block) hurt ur elbow pretty bad? Some dudes have iron shins lol
Elbow should be much stronger
Elbow block like Karate
ty but this was 5 move not 7
💪👍👍👍
👍🏽👍🏽
This is beautiful but there is no point of watching this video with out practicing the moves

Best way to defend a teep is just when it comes change stance backways or side ways, the rest is risky bussines

Buddy you're really right 👌
