When they’re done flowering, do you leave them in the pots to flower again in later years or do you dig them up? Is it possible to
Tell them apart if you’re digging them up? Do you have a follow up video with the results from this project?

Just in time - planted mine yesterday! Tulips, daffodils and crocus. First time I've done it, so will cross fingers that it works. I've topped with heather and ornamental cabbage too, so I hope it won't stop the growth

I've done a bulb lasagne too in November. I did tulips, hyacinths and crocus. I can already see the crocus stems coming up!

They should look really beautiful when they come up. I did pink and purple and black tulips to in a big pot and the odd dot of white.

This was really well explained and demonstrated. I'm going to attempt this for the first time this year. Will be ordering my bulbs shortly.
If anyone is still checking the comments, what do you do with the bulbs after they have flowered? I want to use the pot for summer flowers too.

That was lovely, I'm going to do my first lasagne pot this year. Thank you for the advice. I have subscribed and look forward to more . Will look you up on Instagram too. Sending appreciation from the UK midlands.

Loved the video and the advise. Would it be possible to eliminate all the crackling from paper bags and compost sack. It's really loud!!

I know plant in liner pots so easy to pop out of my decorative pot and they can finish off else where.

Great video on layering :) Thanks for that. a question regarding this, I have a set of pots which I used to plant dahlias this year and got the bulbs still in there, is it ok to leave them there and use the same pots to do this layering? or would it mess up both the tulips and dahlia plants?

Could you please explain about the depth of the bulbs? If it’s recommended on the pack; to bury a certain depth; how does it work planting the bulbs so deep in a lasagne? I’m scared of spoiling my bulbs

  • @laurad2136

Do you plant alliums separately? I thought i would put them together with the a mix of tulip, anemone, crocus and hyacinth

So do I plant the bulbs first according to size; or when they flower? And what if the bottom layer; are planted deeper down than recommend ? Sorry for being a complete novice!
