There is something special about those oldschool Djent albums like: No Sleep, Via (cheeky Wormholes riff in the video), P1...Amazing albums because IMO not only are they amazing and ground breaking for the time...but they create a VIBE and a FEEL that is unmatched. Listening to these albums on headphones takes you to different places mentally.
What I love the most is how ez and organized you make it look. Sometimes materializing riff ideas is so messy and when you hit play it sounds like a random Guitar Pro lol. Your videos and covers are awesome Nick!

Love the series man! You actually inspired me to record my own stuff after a long break. I’m in a post-rock phase (15 years too late lol) but it’s been fun!
Nick you really need to have a section (maybe chorus) with those arpeggios without any palm mute, maybe backed up by strings or synth with long root deep notes on the guitar, really beefy and epic.
You make some really great recordings really quickly. I hope I can eventually maximize my workflow like you have. I think one thing you could add to many of your ideas to thicken things up and make them sound more polished would be some keys. Some synth pads and leads could really help blend many of the more harsh guitar tones together for a more mastered feel. Just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!

@@nickbroomhallmusic I got a bunch that i easily get great tones out of for the styles that i like. I have the Abasi & Petrucci that i find just don't really work for me, So i would recommend those. Bass stuff is always cool too.
