He's definitely a big fan of that first gen Planet Ocean, he still regularly wears it and it must be his favourite watch. You can see it for instance in the LadBible 'snack wars' video of Clarkson, May and Hammond uploaded this week. So he's been wearing it for nearly 20 years! Would have cost him £2k originally and given what else he can afford (and owns) he must genuinely like it. He used to wear a Seamaster 300m but you never see it anymore, so he doesn't stick with them all.

James May leaping at Jeremy's Omega Seamaster (I think that's what it is, can't get a great look at it) for the bezel being in the wrong place, now that I own a watch with a rotating bezel, I completely understand, it is infuriating if it isn't in the right place.

It was like saying “This is your new house that you’re buying. Except it won’t have any of what you see in it, and that wall will be two feet over”
