Your added shelf supports add no strength at all. You glued them to the thin boards that carry all the load into the legs. Your added boards need to be to be fastened to the legs to add additional strength for the shelves.
Suspect your record deck will pick up a lot of vibration which will degrade the sound, maybe build yourself a sturdy and we'll braced palletwood wall mounted frame supporting a heavy stone paving slab or similar to sit the deck on. Cheap to try and might be a massive improvement. Nicely finished and elegant hifi unit
Hi Doc, thanks for the comment, yep your right I do get some vibration but really only noticeable at high volumes, but i do like to play at high volumes😁 I have since placed my deck on a slab of marble with a rubber mat, this seems to be working ok but i do like your idea👍
I built a smaller version and sold it, now building a bigger one as a keeper. Im using some old dining room table inserts.

Built one myself not long ago. Built it out of usb board which I covered the outside with veneer.
Great! This is one of my fav projects, untill i made this all my vinyl was in boxes in the loft now i get to enjoy them once again 😀

If that's where you're going to put your speakers why even bother? Might as well just get a Bluetooth speaker and be done with it.
