People dont see her talent becsuse they are too business focusing on all the negative rumors/news surrounding the artist. Miley has always been a true person to her beliefs and people don't like that. Since they can't control her they play the public against her. Many of her fans have depleted since Hannah Montana and her Bangerz era. However, with her last 3 albums people are coming back slowly but surely. Now they are giving her the credit she deserves even some goong as far as saying she's the a true role model of her generation. Something they took away and judged her on after leaving Disney's control. The industry even blocked her from getting the awards she deserves look even recently for her song Flowers.
Fan or not,people cannot deny her incredible talent. Problem is people have prejudice. They still see her as the kid from cheesy Hanna Montana show and some drugs scandals from years ago. As if rock stars in 70s didnt do lots of drugs! I have no idea why people hate her.
