Actually, you prevented a significant error. I have an LG V40, which is NOT on DJI’s list of compatible devices. I decided to try the OM 4 hardware anyway but soon discovered that, in return for agreeing to allow DJI access to significant personal information, only a couple of the features of the software would be functional. Problem is, the other device that I was considering, the MOZA Mini-mi, also has severe deficiencies.
I decided to go online one last time to look for new reviews of the OM 4, and that is when I discovered, in yours, that a) I must open Bluetooth b) for maximum functionality, the software must be updated with the latest firmware.
Here is the significant error that you prevented: I might have discovered that crucial requirement only AFTER I had already returned the OM 4 to Amazon, which is now apparently sold out. The happy ending is that, thanks to your review, I’ve discovered that ALL of the features of the amazing software appear to be present and accounted for in my LG.

I have the Osmo Mobile 3 and to get my phone in the Correct place Every Time, I've placed Adhesive Pin Stripe (normally used on cars) on the back of my phone along both sides of the mounting bracket, keeping the back of my phone flat and easy to slide in and out of my pocket. To attach the phone, I put the clip between those two lines! Simple!!! But if you really want a Big Magnet stuck on your phone, get the 4.

I know this is by now a somewhat older product. But I only just got one that I found refurbished by the company on eBay. One thing I really like about this video is the fact that your explanation of all the little things is more detailed than I have seen in other intro to the DJI OM4 Videos. Thanks so much for doing it that way - I've never had a gimble before, and I'm totally stoked!! I was already subscribed to your channel, too.

Just unboxing and setting up, thanks for the very helpful video. However... I have an iPhone 12 pro max with the thinnest of protective cases. The spring mounted attachable clamp does not fit the phone. I mean, I am tripping? Aren't we far enough along in gimbal design that accommodating a protective case - even the thinnest of them - would be accounted for by now? It baaaarely seems to fit around the phone but not enough for a secure grip. You can feel that eventually with even slight movement the phone will pop out. Who wants to remove their phone from their protective case every time they use the gimbal on the fly. Would you be able to recommend the case you are using, and the type of phone you have? It seems to work for you. Thank you.

I'm finding out the OM4 is somewhat easy every time I watch your video. I do think you compared the wrong Gimbal by Hohem. I think the compatible Hohem Gimbal is the iSteady Mobile+, which it does many of the same features as the OM4. I am now finding out they are both fun to shoot footage with. I now am gonna work on creating footage with the Dolly Zoom on the iSteady Mobile+ and also in the Dyno-Zoom on the OM4. This should be allot of fun.

Can you confirm if you can get higher resolution like 1080p @30 FPS? Got the DJI OM 3 this week due to Black Friday combined with the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, altough its maxed to 1080p @30 FPS :\ which is a bummer. My phone is capable of ding 4K @ 60hz.

Suggestion: leave the music out on your next "HOW TO" video... it's irritating. There's no reason to have it in the background... it's irritating! I'm 74 and I play numerous instrumentsts, so that suggestion is from a professional viewpoint. Not crazy about the interrupting ads either. Check and see if you're getting paid enough to keep all of them. They're an interruption and not even germane to videographer.

If it's so irritating don't watch! He can do his video how he chooses!

I hate how these companies make great gadgets and are completely oblivious to the obvious-who walks around without a case on their expensive phone? Exactly! *This will be a pain* [removing my case] every time I wish to use the gumball. If the ShiftCam case I ordered doesn't fit with this device, it's refund for my gumball 🔴🟠⚪️📷
