Hi Simon just wanted to ask what should I do, my om6 battery 🪫 stay on red colour the minute I switch them on, I done the calibration for gimbal but still red light on on battery,, hope you can help me with this problem of mine

Understanding that the tilt lock is actually very limited was key for me. So If you tilt just a little bit the Osmo works fine.

Couple of questions…
1. I have the iPhone pro with the moment care and variable ND filters (67mm) - from your video it looks like it can manage this payload (330g) - is that correct?
2. Can I use the moment ‘vnd filter and this will bring down the ISO resulting in motion blur - without using filmic pro or the moment app? Therefore able to use the cinematic mode or action mode in the native iPhone?

Another great video for me to learn my new toy! Thank you. I apologize if this has been asked or if you've mentioned somewhere else, but do you by chance use a phone case for your iPhone along with the OM6? I have an iPhone 13 ProMax, and the Defender case seems to be a bit cumbersome with the OM6 and heading to Ireland and Italy this summer for the very first time, I cringe at not having a case on the phone.

yeah the lack of tilt really was the biggest disappointment to me :( i love doing stable straight up to straight down near ground floor shots and now i have to do it going from the upright mode to the side grip mode rather than just going up and down in the low position mode… the inverted joystick doesn’t give much leeway with extra tilt either
Fantastic and extremely informative video! And the Oslo 6 looks great too. It just sucks because the main reason I want a gimbal is to film myself in action shot kind of scenarios as I do staff combat and martial arts and have always wanted to make cool montages, also super into the idea of making some badass blotter media montages. But the issue is, well, it's great having such a versatile gimbal, but not so great if I can't actually handle the gimbal as I film myself! I would be restricted to tripod + active track, which is cool, but I think it would still look very amateurish and uninteresting without the camera at least circling around me, rather than just pointing at me as I move around. If only I could clone myself...
And yeah I could ask someone else to do the camera manning, but it wouldn't be ideal... Firstly because I have a specific artistic vision for the various shots, and secondly because I would be shooting in probably like 6 hour sessions as I choreograph the sequences and repeat takes over and over and over to get the best looking ones (which is what I've been doing up until now with just my phone on a tripod) and I doubt I could convince someone to come walk around me with my fancy new gimbal four hours on end several times a week!
Agh it really sucks that THE main thing I want a gimbal for necessitates two people to realise... There are other things I'd use the gimbal for, for sure, but making badass choreographed staff combat scenes is kind of a make or break for this particular purchase. Sucks because I've been really hyping myself up about getting this thing and making some other sweet short films.. :(
Open to any suggestions as to how I could potentially get at least semi-professional looking action/combat shots while being completely solo..

Do you know why DJI decided to limit the tilt movement when they went from the Osmo Mobile 4 to the 5 & 6? It is quite a change. I'd like to see more workarounds for this limitation.
I just purchased this and two major disappointments are the limited tilt range and that you can't use Cinematic mode in Mimo. To me that makes MImo virtually useless.

Спасибо. Наконец хот появилось коротко но о главном имхо про DJi OM6 хоть какое то информативное видео. В принципе ко всем "фишкам" народ постепенно и сам доходит интуитивно и доходчиво. Все, что описано в этом видео полная правда. Особенно, что касается приложухи, оно возможно кастрированное для съемок (возможно требуется регистрация) но в ней больше обучающего видео (на мой взгляд через чур много) чем максимального акцента на качество видео, а не на доп. плюшки. Единственно зачем устанавливается приложение - это подключение спускового режима на вкл. откл. съемки и настроек работы всех кнопочек на самом гаджете. Другими путями настроить скорость поворота и следования Вы не сможете. И самое главное съемка через это приложение - полное Г. Поддержка мобил (список) довольно скудная. В основном заточен под последние версии айфонов и андроидов начиная с S21 по 24 и заканчивая довольно большим набором "китайщины" (куда уж теперь без них) . А вот теперь самое интересное.
Вопрос к Автору. иногда встает вопрос о подключении по BT не к одному устройству а к разным и в один прекрасный момент выходит что пока предыдущее не отключилось , новым подключиться не возможно. Это и понятно. И вот тут случился казус!
Перестало ваапще конектить к любому из имеющихся тел. Вот так вот случилось вдруг.. (
В инструкции к гаджету есть справка как сбросить данное устройство если к нему ни как не подключиться. Зажав 3 кл одновременно происходит переинициализация палки, и оно получает так называемый новый код и наименование.
Да. "Dji OM" действительно сменил название в эфире BT, приписав в конце циферку 1... После повторного нажатия 3х заветных кнопок произошла последующая смена наименования и в конце появилась циферка 2.. и т.д. до 4...
Очень вериться что при последующем таком "резетте" появиться циферка 5 и закончится этот цирк в районе 9ки, после чего вернется на "круги своя"
В какой момент гаджет вернется к изначальному наименованию трудно сказать, но имейте ввиду, на работу это ни как не влияет, только заново придется подконектить все используемые тел... Кслову последняя версия приложения довольно увесистая свыше 550мб и даже после установки начинает в самый разгар съемки накачивать подсасывать из интернета буквально любой чих.
К сожалению есть еще один нюанс, который возможно волнует всех, ну а видео об этом скорее всего появиться еще ох как ни скоро.
Смысл в "закреплении" GoPro12 /11 /10, через специальный переходник (фото не прикрепить, но я нашел его) на этот Dji OM и желательно с подключением по BT ( в 12 версии GoPro , BT может использовать несколько уст-в одновременно)

Hello. i like your videos and finally these videoes made me buy the gimbal 😀i am so far very satisfied with the gimbal using it with a iPhon 13pro Max except for a few points which are also mentioned in the video, for example the rather narrow angle in tilt mode but I could come to terms with it so far .
i have one more question which is more personal: do you live in switzerland or in london or both ? 😉
I always see shots of london and then swiss train or street signs again.😊

thank you for your tutorial. I try to work with my Samsung S23 Ultra on the DJI Osmo Mobil 6 and I wonder if a counterweight like the one from Ulanzi I are using would help stabilising my phone. Could you give me some detail about this counterweight ( reference, weight)
