    Hello, if you recorded the shots using stock camera app or 3rd party?
    They look amazing :)

    • @AttiBear
      @AttiBear  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Tahir really appreciate it 😃. Depends on my needs. If I do need tracking I’m using Mimo. But Mimo has an issue when It’s switching between different ISO settings. Suddenly parts of the image get blown out. If I want the shot to be perfect, I use filmic (log profile). For occasional recordings just the camera app.

  • @mediamannaman
    @mediamannaman 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great job! you are a natural communicator and teacher. I just heard about an app called Filmic Pro and have many questions. Most of the videos I see that pertain to this app just show you "how to." I want to know "why." For example, on the OM4, why should I use Filmic Pro instead of the Mimo app? How is it better or worse? I don't know if you use this app, but that is an idea I have for you if you are interested.

    • @AttiBear
      @AttiBear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your kind words mediamannaman 😃. The reason for Filmic is actually quite simple. It is one of the few apps that fully gives you control over your smartphones camera. Including the ability to record in a LOG style format, Focus Pulling, granular white balance etc. So especially if you are working with additional Lenses and Filters, Filmic can help you to unlock the true videographic potential of a smartphone.

  • @Vicos
    @Vicos ปีที่แล้ว

    I see the same problem in your video that I experience. I don't know the technical term, but when panning you get a brief jerk, or glitch. It's like the video pauses, loses a few frames then resumes. What causes that and is there a way to prevent it? Pretty much ruins the video IMO. I use OM4 and Samsung S10e.

    Hey man. Sorry for another question (I have searched online, but found nothing). I tried to do some shots with my Osmo 3 connected to the end of a fully extended monopod this morning, but there was a lot of vibration in the shots. The monopod is very cheap and flimsy. I was doing crane shots, looking in trees etc. Is there a way to dampen the vibration, or if I bought a good monopod, would that solve the issue. Thanks mate and have a good weekend. Jason.

    • @AttiBear
      @AttiBear  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When using a Monopod to extend you grip you should try to compensate for the swing movement. A more sturdy monopod will certainly help mitigating unwanted movement 😉

    • @StarWarsJay
      @StarWarsJay 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AttiBear hey bro. I got myself a Manfrotto one yesterday and I also switched off the stabilisation on Filmic pro as I guessed it would fight against the gimbal’s stabilisation. Simple explanation n great demonstration!
    I am TH-camr of over 2.4 years finally wish to use a gimbal n I think OM4 will compliment my style of filming!
    Heard much about Moment lenses n love to use them on mobile but unfortunately I don't get them in India.

    Hi! Great review! Can I create spin shot and dolly zoom effect with this gimbal using filmic pro app?! Thanks!?:

    • @AttiBear
      @AttiBear  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The spin shot can be done with every camera app cause it is being set through the joystick settings. The dolly zoom is relying on active track so it only can be done with the Mimo App

So much to learn, but all manageable, I think? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I love all of your techniques and tips in video. Slow motion 240 was my favourite! Nice video, thanks! My question is about the dolly zoom effect. I’ve tried it but can’t use the footage as it’s so grainy with the zoom. Every time I see it shown in a tutorial the footage looks great with no distortion with the zoom. Am I missing something? I’m using the iPhone 11 Pro

    • @AttiBear
      @AttiBear  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know what you mean. That's why I'm using the one where I'm walking away form the subject and I'm throwing away the last bit of the footage. In the beging the camera does not have to zoom as much so it's much cleaner. In my opinion DJI is pushing the digital zoom in the end way too far. The amount of grain is even more intensified if you are in a darker environment.
