Chris, my man, you like Hickman more than I do. 😆 I'm also not convinced that Xenomorphs work in the Marvel Universe. (Why do we have the Brood, if we have Xenomorphs?) Ribic's art is beautiful, though.
I agree, though since this is supposed to take place during a "Krakoan Era" and all the mutants left for Mars, and the Brood are usually only featured in X-Men titles, having the Xenomorphs here makess sense. Though, as you said, it does feel a little forced. I'm just glad that overall it was a fun read without the YA quirky dialogue and it feels like it was taken serious rather than tongue and cheek
