R.I.P Terry Hall. Just heard news of your death. You were a Unique talent, & your songs were a major part of my teenage years and beyond. The state of the World & the Political State of the UK currently are so reminiscent, horrifyingly so, of the exact times you sang in the 1980's & 1990's. So your songs & talent is heartbreakingly accurate! Where many of us are " My God we grew up with this & we have rewound again, & now Our Children are facing these Issues Hard Faced, Front & Centre! Several more Generations are Bruised!" I am genuinely heartbroken 💔 to hear of your Passing. You were a Central Figure of my Youth & later years. You gave us 63 Years. God Bless you for that Unbelievable Contribution 🙏. Love to all your friends and family x

I agree. June Miles-Kingston is a very talented woman. I especially liked her work on The Communards - Don't Leave Me This Way, also have to mention Sarah Jane Morris who sang in that track. So many talented people from this era.
Frighteningly original music, but so listenable. Hard to find a band today that says something meaningful with such uniquely courageous dedication. I was hooked when I was only 11. Yay for older brothers with good taste in music.
What I wouldn’t give to have seen them live! This concert is so amazing. Props to the FB3 backing band, June Kingston on drums and Gina Ball (of Marc and the Mambas) on cello! RIPower Terry Hall

@@christophercasey6775 agreed, our lips are sealed is just beautiful, their voices, together, kinda haunting, blend together soonooo well. The girls voice is given more prominence as the song progresses. Her voice sounds beautiful and authentic and love the rawness of the song sang and played live. This song came out slightly just before my time (meaning, before I was into music) glad I heard it. Still sounds great today. Love it. 23mins 42 sec th-cam.com/video/HXQpuN45xTA/w-d-xo.html
The things I missed living in the States. I loved The Specials back in the early eighties, but I'd only heard a couple of FB3 tracks before a couple of years ago. Shame I missed out on most of this era of Hall, Golding and Staples. They were amazing!
brilliant set, wow can see why they left specials with talent like this, I notice they slipped in gangsters at the end though ;) can't forget your roots and where you came from
So great! FB3 were really creative and different. Terry, Lynval and Neville were amazing. And the all-girl band kicked ARSE, esp the drummer, cellist and trombone player. Who would have guessed how much a trombone could add to pop?!
Look at that crowd... or rather listen to how wonderfully SILENT they are. They're there to listen and watch the band, not a fucking karaoke session. No phones blocking views... Will we ever get gigs like this again? :(
Had some vestibular physiotherapy there not six months ago. Used to watch Children's Film Foundation films there in the seventies when it was still a cinema, in the summer Play Scheme the council ran.
Please can anyone tell me the name of the music playing at the start when the outside of the venue is showing? I'm sure it was the theme tune to something but cannot remember for the life of me what it was!
as a Specials fan, seeing Terry going down this route was the worst thing ever, so glad he ditched this crap and got The Specials back together and I got to see them in 2011

I was born in the wrong country. The UK has and always will kick ass! What a great concert … love Terry to bits. FB3 were so cool.
Come for the music and stay for the weather!
That cello player is absolutely fantastic, she totally owns it on every single song
I was there! Aged 17, a really big event for me as I was in love with Terry. Fab to see it again
Hello from Bingen/Rhein, Germany (if you are living in Hitchin you might know where my hometown is). I was in love with him, too 🙂
Will always love you, Terry. The news has broken my heart 💔🖤💔
'Our Lips Are Sealed'. surely one of the greatest pop songs of the 80's? Awesome.

No. Even by the crap standards of the decade it was just a mediocre song.
@@Mardocius In fact they were having an affair while on tour together when they were both in relationships, hence the title.
Great song.

voice of a generation, total class in everything Terry does.

but it's great to see and hear:
every song is beautiful and challenging music!
