After cutting my teeth on The Beatles, Free, Zeppelin etc in the late 60s/70's, I was in a permanently bad mood in the 80's. But there were still a few genuine originals. Terry Hall was one. I will miss him.

As a kid I never liked this version and loved the Go-Go's version, but at the ripe old age of 53, I now like this version better, both because of the tempo and the subtle lyric differences. Both versions are great, though.

so ahead of their time.....women playing all the instruments, blacks and whites playing beautiful music together, and such honest from the heart lyrics being sung by a man. It's hard to believe this was released 40 years ago. This band broke a lot of barriers and they weren't even trying. Rest easy Terry Hall...thk u for your contributions ❤️

This is from the second FB3 album, recorded almost entirely with bananarama, beautiful album. But the first FB3 album is a great album, it should be much higher every time they make top album lists.
And terry, absolutely great, thanks for everything. You left very quickly, it could have been avoided, get annual checkups.
Bananarama weren't on any track of the Waiting album. The band were female but not one of them was from Bananarama.
