Every-time i play rainbow six siege or GTAV, my computer will randomly shut off and either turn back on by itself or it wont turn on until i shut off the power supply. Its really only on these games but its become a really big issue for me lol. Any thoughts?
I have had a Bravo 15 B7E (Gaming Laptop) for 11 months at first it only crashed when playing Fortnite and lagged in it a ton. But now it randomly crashes when I play Roblox even though it isn't overheating and lagging at all.
that is difficult, not even the best malware protection can do anything about the malwares nowadays. if you can still go to desktop i suggest start backing up your important files and just have a clean windows installation after
@MacCoyzkie Thank you for your honest reply. So, how often would you say backing up files and restarting windows with a clean slate? Even with the potential of corrupted files that could be transported while backing up those files that someone deems as safe or important files? Appreciate all feedback because right now I am just having random black screen shutoffs issues with my monitor. So I will be updating fans and power supply to hopefully minimize my issues. Hopefully...
@@SRH1991 tbh i am not using any malware protection since it is counterproductive at least for me and it's been 3 years since I had a fresh windows installation. Malwares come from websites that has those pop ups and you accidentally click it. Just be careful which website you visit. how often you need to have a clean windows installation? if you are careful at least after 5 years (personal opinion) since you will accumulate unnecessary programs that you will not need anymore Backing up? at least once a year, or if you are skeptic then every 6 months. This is why i bought this th-cam.com/users/shortsfGVXlEb2Y5I drive bay so I will only power it on when i need the drives and not constantly running, take note i only place my important files here like my 3d model files, videos etc. so if ever my windows messed up or it has malware, it won't affect my drives in the drive bay
@MacCoyzkie Awesome! Love the insight. Tbh, I haven't had any issues with malware besides my mother in the past who clicked on everything lol. I absolutely will need to consider putting my important items on a drive bay forsure. I do think you are right and fair to say 6 months or a year would be the time range to back up any computer. I definitely know others who are more frequent, like every 1 to 2 months, with backing up their files. I am not that skeptic lol. Thank you for getting back to me MacCoyzkie :) I'll most likely have some more questions in the future.
Hello , thanks for the advice , i just have a question . My computer shut down and restart when playing some videos games : for exemple it happens alot when playing : dayz , pummel party. altough it actualy never happened when playing other games that needs ressources such as warzone , apex , valorant , rocket league and more . what do you think can cause this issue ? thank you if you took time for an answer.
Hi! My PC's temperature really isn't bad. I don't think the problem is the power supply, either. What happens is, when i play a game with too high FPS, for some reason it shuts down immediately. If i play fortnite with 30fps, nothing happens, but if i unlock it to 120fps, my PC shuts down immediately not even a second later. it also happens when i minimize some games, nothing could happen until i alt+tab and my pc shuts down after some seconds. What could the problem be?
lack of memory too could cause this issue specially if you have many chrome tabs and gaming at the same time. 16gb was the minimum before but in todays game updates, though they still say 16gb ram is good but i think 32 is the minimum
Hey, i’ve just built a new pc and i haven’t been able to play too much but just today when playing my monitor’s just go black like they lose connection but i still have audio from games or google chrome playing and my pc is still running and fans and rgb lighting is still on. I’ve tried so many things to fix and nothing is helping so far and i know it’s not a heating issue from watching armory crate and afterburner until the displays go out. i just spent a lot of money on this computer and i hate that it’s having these problems. Its a 4090, intel i9 13900kf, a 1200 watt thermaltake psu, asus rog strix z790-e gaming wifi, and an arctic liquid freezer 2 360mm aio. Would greatly appreciate tips and advice bc from the pc’s i’ve built before i havent ran into this issue and no videos have helped so far!
if you are still hearing the game sound then this is not a pc issue, more like a cable (hdmi/dp) so try to replace it or if you are using those adapters like this th-cam.com/users/shortsPzGdrbL_0nI you can also stress test the monitor with a console or other pc because this might be just a monitor problem nice setup btw
was playing black myth wukong and my pc shuts off, same with spiderman remastered. for spiderman remastered, it shuts off at the main menu. When I had my ram at 3200 mhz, it shut off but when i had my ram to 3600mhz the screen would go black with yellow dram light on the motherboard while the pc was running.
this means the overclock is not working well with your pc hardware combination. this happens usually when ram sticks don't work well with the motherboard, you can have your ram sticks swapped with someone you know who is willing, or sell them and get a new one. make sure that the new one works well with your motherboard so do a bit of research on this topic
yo quick question, so uhh i was playing a game and saw a big cockroach and went downstairs for a couple hours cause i was scared to kill it (i dont have any big enough holes for the cockroach to crawl into) but after coming back up the monitor was blacked out, still works tho. now if i startup it turns on, and freezes and i cant use my pc.
oh shoot bro that cockroach assassinated your rig, your only choice to fix that is to bring it at a local shop, not unless you open the pc yourself and check what happened inside. usually that insect might left some liquidy thing that shorts the pc
Hi, i recently built a pc and idk why it randomly turns off, the Psu has the enough W for my 4080 and 7800x3d (1000w), when I turn it on the pc runs slow and them it shutdowns, then I turn it on again and it’s back to normal, sometimes it takes more than 3 shutdowns and sometimes one blue screen. What’s happening? A faulty psu?
update windows and gpu driver first, or you could clean the gpu driver installation by doing this th-cam.com/video/SvIJhcxZTsA/w-d-xo.html then download a fresh gpu driver from its website

Check every hardware event log in the device manager, None of them have been crashed .
i think its the cpu bro, if you haven't heard about it yet, all 13th & 14th gen intel cpu are having this problem. i5 13500 is generally less affected by the issues but there are some who are experience the same.
When i play AAA games like red dead 2 and black myth wukong, my pc randomly turns off and reboots itself with no display, i even replaced the PSU cuz id assume it was the kernel 41 power error
My pc stopped working just now it was on main window screen and suddenly closed and monitor started showing no signal .. when i press power button now the fans move a little just mili meter and nothing happens😢😢
two things, this could be a dead psu or a faulty motherboard. if there is a way you can borrow a psu, try testing it with your pc, if it works then buy a new psu and if it doesn't this might be a faulty motherboard. i suggest go to a repair shop for second opinion
What about when my pc is turning itself off and then on while I play certain games. I dont think its the power supply as I have replaced it with a 750W corsair psu and I dont think my cou is overheating as its always at a good temperature
I’m experiencing this issue with marvel rivals a game that just came out, I can play the match for like 5 mins then it just shuts off, I cleaned the pc changed the thermal paste and even made sure the cooler was on right, but for some reason it still crashes, I even checked my temp while playing the game and it was fine it didn’t go above 75c but then the pc just shuts off, I don’t know what the problem could possibly be
I've been having issues with my PC lately. Whenever I go to play a game it works for a few minutes and then everything disconnects. The monitor (ASUS) says that there's no signal but the PC is still running and the mouse and keyboard are still working but not responding. I have to shut it down with the power button and wait for a while before I can even turn it on again. My specs are: Gigabyte A520M Kv2 AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Ram 2x8GB DDR4 Teamgroup 3200MhZ ASUS RX Vega 64 8GB SSD Verbatim 512GB 650W 80 + gold aRGB modular charge I also have Windows 11 (and no, I don't like it) Thank you in advance if you even read this
@MacCoyzkie Thing is it worked until a couple of weeks ago. It's a used PC, I bought it from a guy a few months ago and it worked well then. Do you think it might be something else on top of the power supply?
@@simplewrites The PSU is fine, but the RX Vega 64 is a power-hungry GPU. In fact, it typically requires a 750W power supply as a minimum. In my experience, if a GPU has a minimum requirement of 750W, I always recommend adding an extra 100W for assurance. While you could technically use a 650W PSU, if you're playing AAA games or modern titles that demand a lot of GPU power, there's a high chance the system will struggle or fail to provide stable performance
When i start a game and I play for 5-10minutes and my screens goes to power saving mode and all my pc fans start to spin very fast. What could be the issue?
Can you tell me if the PSU can potentially be the issue here? The past year I've been getting bluescreens with various codes. But nowadays my pc just reboots without warning or bluescreens. Can my PSU potentially be the problem if I've already swapped RAM and Storage but it still persists?
yes it could be but that problem you have sounds like overheating, check the cpu and gpu temps make sure they don't go beyond 90c th-cam.com/users/shortsoHIQTSTSDfg

how about lowering game graphics settings, it sounds like your pc can't handle the settings. This could also be your gpu driver and windows are not updated so update it. if you are in windows 11, that might be the problem since this os have a lot of graphics issues
@@MacCoyzkie I was on windows 10, and i have this pc since 2019, it happens on 2022, i tried putting thermal paste, but it still shuts down, it never happens before, idk whats the problem

It only happens whenever I'm playing a game, and I noticed if either my FPS or graphics are set to a high level, I'll get this issue. I would also like to mention that if my FPS is higher than 60 it would happen.
if your psu is from known brands then the entire pc should be fine even when you are not using UPS or AVR or a power surge protect cable. for now try clearing cmos th-cam.com/video/S9hyEPTFR10/w-d-xo.html to have the pc running in default settings
My Temperatures are always under 80 degrees while gaming and I have a 650w psu for ryzen 5 5600x and rx 7600 with 32gb ram. Do you think it might be a faulty PSU, Ram stick or motherboard?
i suggest don't go there if that is your only gpu because one wrong move could destroy it. You only flash a gpu if you can't install its latest driver or can't get it to show display you will be needing extra gpu or at least a pc that has integrated graphics to do the overall process. So if your gpu is working just run things in default for now by clearing cmos
For me, I will play a game for like 5-10 minutes and the screen will freeze and my mouse and keyboard is unresponsive. I have all the latest drivers and I scanned for corrupted files and malware on my PC and detected none. I also tried detecting thermal throttling and again, nothing. Any ideas on this could be?
@ I have not. I’m going to buy a spare USB stick when I have time and try do a clean install of windows to see how it goes. I’ll let you know how it goes :)
how about try to reinstall the game itself, if the game requires internet connection you should check this video too th-cam.com/video/Azf79t1vkaU/w-d-xo.html
my PC shuts down when playing games that use Unreal Engine, it happened with ''Days Gone'' and ''Silent Hill 2 Remake'' it's all good when playing Resident Evil 4 remake and Ghost of Tsushima at high settings
My computer has an AMD 7800x3d and MSI 3080ti with a 6 year old 850w Evga psu. My computer has normal temps but when I run games my screen turns black and reboots after a short while. Im thinking my PSU has given up taking the abuse of the transient power spikes my GPU has been giving it because after switching to a 1000w psu the problems are gone.
you better remove your pc from that outlet now, your AC is probably connected to the normal outlets in the house and that's a bad thing. This could cause overloading risk and voltage stability problem. Your AC should have a dedicated outlet with its own breaker. Without this, other appliances connected to the same circuit may be at risk of overloading or malfunction. this is not a pc problem, its an outlet problem
Can you help me. I've started getting this issue since today. Ive tried so many things with the BIOS (like deactivating cpu state). I've stress tested the cpu with cinebench (I've disconnected the GPU cause cinebench didn't load), so the cpu did all the stress test without a crash.but as soon as I plug back my gpu (2070) it crashes when I try to load anything (heavenbench, a game like POE ou anything). So I finally did disconnect my gpu and test the integrated gpu with Intel, no failling and no shutting down (even if the stress was done on extrem condition with heavenbench). So am I correct to assume that my gpu is dead? Or it maybe the windows 11 issue?
no, but there are a lot of factors that could give this issue. it could be the psu is not giving enough juice or this could be a windows 11 issue since the os have a lot of graphics issues up until today and it happens randomly. what you can do right now is to ask a friend to test your gpu in their pc and see if you get the same result
@@MacCoyzkie finally I've tested another GPU on it and I've got same result, with little bit of explanation with the event viewer of Microsoft. Hi can you help my pc goes black screen when im playing god of war 2018 but perfectly fine when im playing god of war ragnarok, and i used to play god of war 2018 in my pc before and it work perfectly fine
My PC has been inactive for a whole year. Ive recently started using it again and for 3 months or something like that it worked just fine, now ive got this issue where my games crash after about 15 minutes of gaming. Note that I havent cleaned it inbetween that time so its basically been not cleaned for 1.5 years. Do you think the dust is the problem or am i facing a PSU or GPU issue here? I even undervoltet my gpu and when playing it has not gone above 70 degrees celcius. So I am just wondering why it worked for 3 months without any problems but now it just shuts off, I also do not game that often anymore so seeing my PC crash like that left me speechless. I also bought an air blower can so hopefully it will fix it since I really want to play my games again. It even crashes in games like Overwatch btw which my PC can easily run RTX 3080. @MacCoyzkie ok so I've Uninstalled Vanguard from my Pc and tested out a game, it worked for about 40 minutes before it crashed, I will clean it up tomorrow and let you know if it worked, thanks for that tip and your video btw.
@MacCoyzkie yeah, so I cleaned my Pc, it was a PSU issue since it was very dirty, everything worked extremely well when testing Dishonored 2 but then I tried booting up cyberpunk and my monitors immediately shut off and the red motherboard light popped out. So now I think my gpu fried somehow. I tried putting it into the 2nd spot in my motherboard but no results. Went back to the main one, my pc booted up but on when I put my password in and press enter the monitor sorta glitches for 1 second and turns off. 🙃 Do you have any video on this issue maybe, really don't want to buy a temporary gpu because of this😭😭
Bro i put all my savings on it and its goes like this the shop is saying gpu may be the problem 😞 i cant offord any either litterally never felt this down

I'm facing issues with an i5 8400. The computer keeps restarting by itself on idle or playing. But I swapped it with a lower cpu processor, which is a Intel G5400 and it runs flawless. Could it be the i5 8400 is taking up too much power for the 600W Certified PSU or the CPU i5 dead?

Hello, My pc is shutting down only while playing a specific game, it will jusy blackscreen crash and before crashing like that it will freeze for a second. This game is the lightest one on my pc and only occurs with this, any solutions?
If the pc is shutting down when the hz is razed for gaming is it the power supply ?😅 like I’m fine on 85hz but soon as go to 180 hrz max it shuts off on a certain game some games are fine in 180 but it seems like the some heavier ones take the toll 😢?? All temps are fine doses seem like the psu is getting a little hot to the touch on the outside witch is normal for long periods of gaming, but not so quick like that just with hrz raised if I do mess with power settings, and max amount, it does do the same effect when hitting high FPS I’m asking because I got a new monitor from 60hz to 180 and never had issues on 60 I have a 1080ti ik it’s old but hope that helps for answers I feel like it’s just built for 60hz sometimes on heavier games 😢😅😊
1080ti can run 4k 60 without problem, so if you have like 180hz and set the resolution to 1440 that should be fine, though it might struggle to some modern games so you need to lower the game graphics settings and modify the fps limit according to what your pc can handle. you may have to do a trial and error here until you find the perfect settings for your games. Also check the wattage and stability of your psu, usually unknown brands can cause this problem too
@@MacCoyzkie thank you very much but I think I got it fixed I had it plugged into a power strip instead of straight in the wall I switched that around and helped a lot also I set the control panel setting to the recommended amount also help some games do struggle so I have to raise the setting a little bit to get a little more fps for a playable experience but one game were when setting are up it’s shuts off I think it’s just the amount of stability it has of power between graphics I probably could pull a little more with a more powerful power supply like I got a 750w I’m shure a 1000 would give me more room without shutting off because seems like runs really smoothly in most games but that one game it runs good until I ask for more it runs faster but then shuts off well I should say optimize settings instead of raised but the switching power outlets help a lot most games run 60 fps no problem 1440 180hrz some struggle to around 30 but like I said once settings are optimized is better but one game lol but that one game plays fine regular settings now just I know there more without it just shiting itself

did you set the fps to limitless or it is set to a particular fps? like its 144 or 240hz? This usually happens to unreliable psu, i know 850 is enough for the build but running games at maximum FPS can cause spikes in power consumption. may i know what psu brand are you using? While your temperatures are fine, XMP profiles and other overclocking settings can sometimes lead to instability. Try running your system without XMP enabled to see if the issue persists. Check your power plan settings in Windows. Ensure that you are using the "High Performance" or "Balanced" plan, and avoid using power-saving modes that can throttle performance. Check the Windows Event Viewer for any error messages around the time of the crashes. This might give you more insight into what's causing the issue.

@MacCoyzkie Thank you for your honest reply. So, how often would you say backing up files and restarting windows with a clean slate?
Same problem as yours, it can be the psu? That cannont sustain the power?

if you are still hearing the game sound then this is not a pc issue, more like a cable (hdmi/dp) so try to replace it or if you are using those adapters like this th-cam.com/users/shortsPzGdrbL_0nI
you can also stress test the monitor with a console or other pc because this might be just a monitor problem

When I had my ram at 3200 mhz, it shut off but when i had my ram to 3600mhz the screen would go black with yellow dram light on the motherboard while the pc was running.
this means the overclock is not working well with your pc hardware combination. this happens usually when ram sticks don't work well with the motherboard, you can have your ram sticks swapped with someone you know who is willing, or sell them and get a new one. make sure that the new one works well with your motherboard so do a bit of research on this topic

i think its the cpu bro, if you haven't heard about it yet, all 13th & 14th gen intel cpu are having this problem. i5 13500 is generally less affected by the issues but there are some who are experience the same.
you should check the bios fix regarding this issue, hopefully intel boards already released it by now

two things, this could be a dead psu or a faulty motherboard. if there is a way you can borrow a psu, try testing it with your pc, if it works then buy a new psu and if it doesn't this might be a faulty motherboard. i suggest go to a repair shop for second opinion

My specs are:
Gigabyte A520M Kv2
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Ram 2x8GB DDR4 Teamgroup 3200MhZ
ASUS RX Vega 64 8GB
SSD Verbatim 512GB
650W 80 + gold aRGB modular charge
I also have Windows 11 (and no, I don't like it)
Thank you in advance if you even read this
if im not mistaken your gpu needs at least 750w
@@MacCoyzkie Thank you. I'm thinking about replacing it with an RX 6650XT next year, that one doesn't need as much power.

i suggest don't go there if that is your only gpu because one wrong move could destroy it. You only flash a gpu if you can't install its latest driver or can't get it to show display
you will be needing extra gpu or at least a pc that has integrated graphics to do the overall process. So if your gpu is working just run things in default for now by clearing cmos

Fellow gamers, try to turn off that g-sync from Nvidia control panel , see if that works for ya.
My pc turns off whenever someone in my house turns on the AC and it shutsdown when i am playing valorant
you better remove your pc from that outlet now, your AC is probably connected to the normal outlets in the house and that's a bad thing.
@@MacCoyzkie finally I've tested another GPU on it and I've got same result, with little bit of explanation with the event viewer of Microsoft. maybe its the game itself, have you reinstalled it already? can you also try this out, maybe it'll help th-cam.com/video/Azf79t1vkaU/w-d-xo.html
when i start playing for like 5m my monitor turns off and my gpu fans turn 100% idk why that happens
sounds like overheating, try the suggestions in the video
My pc just shuts down about every time I run a high demanding game and reboots itself I have a 3080 with a 750w power-supply what do I do
what specific 3080 you got, some model needs like 850 and some 750w is fine. also what is your cpu model name?
same problem, how did you fix it?
The whole system is about 3-4 years old by now
update windows and drivers too, also if you are playing online games you should also check this th-cam.com/video/Azf79t1vkaU/w-d-xo.html also windows 11 is a factor since it has a lot of graphics issue, assuming you are in windows 11
@MacCoyzkie ok so I've Uninstalled Vanguard from my Pc and tested out a game, it worked for about 40 minutes before it crashed, I will clean it up tomorrow and let you know if it worked, thanks for that tip and your video btw.
@@zhcpencil2321 no problem bro, i hope it all goes well
@MacCoyzkie yeah, so I cleaned my Pc, it was a PSU issue since it was very dirty, everything worked extremely well when testing Dishonored 2 but then I tried booting up cyberpunk and my monitors immediately shut off and the red motherboard light popped out. So now I think my gpu fried somehow. I tried putting it into the 2nd spot in my motherboard but no results. Went back to the main one, my pc booted up but on when I put my password in and press enter the monitor sorta glitches for 1 second and turns off. 🙃 Do you have any video on this issue maybe, really don't want to buy a temporary gpu because of this😭😭
Oh yeah and the red light pops out after that too
Bro i put all my savings on it and its goes like this the shop is saying gpu may be the problem 😞 i cant offord any either litterally never felt this down
can you ask a friend to try your gpu in their pc for second opinion?

you need to replace your psu, it lacks power. if im not mistaken you need at least 600w for that gpu. i usually add +100w to the minimum requirements just for assurance. more info here th-cam.com/video/1bp1Bf7ADVw/w-d-xo.html

I'm facing issues with an i5 8400. The computer keeps restarting by itself on idle or playing. But I swapped it with a lower cpu processor, which is a Intel G5400 and it runs flawless. Could it be the i5 8400 is taking up too much power for the 600W Certified PSU or the CPU i5 dead?
it could also be overheating if your cooler is not making contact or not working well if its an aio
@MacCoyzkie I have stuck Intel fan, I'll buy one of those big coolers to see if that's the issue. Thanks for the reply.
Ok but why does it only do it to rainbow six siege?? It doesn’t do it to any other game. I play rdr2 just fine?
watch this video, it might help th-cam.com/video/Azf79t1vkaU/w-d-xo.html
I don't think a 650 W PSU is the problem for my PC, my GPU is RX7600, and the wattage I see is enough and my fan is just Intel stock.
the cooling ?/ I HAD a giant fan facing on my PC and blowing air all the time into it. so my guess is because I am no plugging it into wall power sockets ??? because some PC repairman told me so
is that 650w psu is from known brand? what's the model name?

If the pc is shutting down when the hz is razed for gaming is it the power supply ?😅 like I’m fine on 85hz but soon as go to 180 hrz max it shuts off on a certain game some games are fine in 180 but it seems like the some heavier ones take the toll 😢?? All temps are fine doses seem like the psu is getting a little hot to the touch on the outside witch is normal for long periods of gaming, but not so quick like that just with hrz raised if I do mess with power settings, and max amount, it does do the same effect when hitting high FPS
I’m asking because I got a new monitor from 60hz to 180 and never had issues on 60 I have a 1080ti ik it’s old but hope that helps for answers I feel like it’s just built for 60hz sometimes on heavier games 😢😅😊

My pc hangs when playing a game then the monitor shuts off but my pc fans even the cpu fan are still spinning but not at 100% speed, it happens when i upgraded my ram from 2400mhz to 3600mhz. Do you think ram can be the cause of it? Im running ryzen 5600 and a rx6600 with corsair cv650watts

I've been experiencing an issue where it restarts itself during gaming sessions when I have all the settings maxed out. literally it will shut as soon as I change the settings. I noticed this issue happening once i disabled vsync on my games and let them run at the maximum fps my system could go to, or game can reach, and i would only be able to play for maybe 5-20 minutes before i would crash to desktop, or computer just restarts. Im thinking maybe its a psu issue? since i can play games just fine when i cap my fps to my monitors refresh rate 60hz. I have a rtx 3080, i7-11700k, 32gb ddr4 3600mhz (xmp on), on an 850w corsair psu
Also, according to MSI afterburner my cpu and gpu only get into the low to mid 60C temps
did you set the fps to limitless or it is set to a particular fps? like its 144 or 240hz?
@@MacCoyzkie hi thanks for the reply!
The PSU im using is a Corsair RM850. I set my fps limits through riva tuner, but when i uncap my fps i just set it to 0 on riva tuner and turn vsync off in game. Idk if it’s worth mentioning but the gpu im using is the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Vision OC LHR Rev 2.0. One thing i notice is that the games crash when there is a pretty heavy load on both GPU and CPU and my fans are at almost full blast too. The games I’ve experienced crashes on are some Battlefield games, and GTA5, I notice that my gpu is at its voltage limit and staying at 1905mhz until the games crash. I will check out the Event Viewer later today when I use my pc, thank you
