Hey, CK great video, I sense this maybe help dampen the mis-hits etc. On another topic, do you think you can do some updates/video on stringing? I've been doing it for 8-10yrs and of recently my rackets are becoming more circular shaped rather than oval. I have no idea why this is happening, but I've tried it on other electric machines and it's doing the same thing.. I sense I maybe not tightening the clamps enough but they are "finger tight"... 2 piece, crosses I do bottom to top. Any suggestions welcomed!
I recently purchased this racket and strung it with BG-80 at 26lbs and BOY it feels like a beast!!! Smashes and drops feel very crisp, but I had to exert more power for clear shots (which is fine IMO). Absolutely recommend it for intermediate players. Great videos @CKYew as always!!! Keep up the good work
Good to see you on court again! These reviews from your friends really help to predict what the racket feels like 👍 Anyway I've tried the exbolt, both ver. Like your review i think the 65 is more forgiving, if you miss the sweet spot with the 63 you'll noticed how much power it lose
I had strung this racket with a Yonex Exbolt 63 string, however, stringing at my usual tension of 26lbs, I couldn't get a good repulsion from it. I had to restrung it to 22lbs to get the same repulsion power. The sound was really awesome though.
Would be helpful to put up what racket/string/tension your buddies are using as compared to what they tried on the Nextage? Would be easier to see the contrast
Thank you so much for the review. I have watched your review at 3-4 times before deciding to get one. It is a racket that fit my playing style and I love the whippy feeling. Smashes are powerful that are easy to execute. The head heavy allows me to that. I figure out why the front court isnt so sharp that because of the swing speed as well as sweet spot. So you will be quite accurate. All in all thank you and an excellent racket.
Love to see you back on the court and back with the racket reviews❤️. I also really enjoyed the updated badminton equipment of the professionals❤️. If i could suggest what to review next, i would really love to see reviews of the yonex lite series rackets such as astrox lite 27i or 21i, and nanoflare lite 33i or 29i ❤️. Hope you'd stay healthy and on the grind. Keep up the great and exciting works.
Great to see you’re back reviewing rackets, and on the court! Been waiting for your take on the Nextage (tho I knew on the on set the racket’s not for me).
Glad your back again. I also haven't played in a while. I am planning to buy a new racquet. Can you please review the astrox dg series.. especially astrox 7dg?
Happy New Year! Great to hear you're back on court again and another informative review. I bet those day after pains in the arms, back and buttocks were a killer?
Hi CK! Great review of this racket. How would it compare to the old Carbonex 50 which is a slightly head-heavy repulsion racket? Would it feel similar?
Can't wait to test it myself - I preordered Exbolt 65 and Aerobite in White/Green together with a green BG 66 Ultimax String for this racket. Thanks for this inside CK I like your testing and recommendations skills
@@steffenfpv5579 nice Racket for a Racket not produced in Japan :D good solid attack feeling. Exbolt 65 and the Green Aerobite String look pretty good to the nice black and green design. It really feels like the best of the Astrox Series combined in this nice racket. really love it.
9:26 that's a well taken shot and not a fault. Contact point was on your side of the court, and only time your racket went over was during the follow through, which is legal.
I think the hitting sound is more to do with the strings and tension rather than the racquet frame.....not sure why you started this review video with the sting hitting sound....correct me if I'm wrong.
OMG I'm so surprised when I see you're back making review videos! Welcome back and hope you stay healthy. Interesting review format with you asking your friends about their opinions. One thing that could help maybe to add details about which rackets they are using, so we can know how the reviewed racket stacks up against other racket. Nevertheless, great video as always!
That is a really good suggestion.! I agree if they would tell what racket they are using normally it would paint a more clear picture of what to expect from the Racket being reviewed.
Im intrigue with this racket. I will try this one.. how does it compare to Felet woven TJ 1000 pro which has dampening woven carbon spring on the 9 and 3 o'clock..
Thank you very much for you review. May i ask if you compare with 100zz, What is the best for smash in your opinion. I want to buy new the racket please help me compare.
Hello Dr. Ck after watching your review about astrox nextage I finally bought one. however, the code on the cone of the racquet that I get online has no Letters that indicate where it came from. I bought it for 135 USD and I'm wondering if I get an authentic one
Exbolt 65 is more suited for me. Because usually I use the Bg66 ultimax or Bg66 force. It feel weird using the Exbolt 63. Anyway, I already change to Aerobite. My god, that string feels so good to use. Now I know why Lin Dan and Kento Momota using that string. And also u are using it. 😁
I’ve loved your videos of all the tiered racket lines. How do you compare this to the mid tier (either Taiwan made versions) of the other Astrox series? I’ve been playing a NanoFlare 700 I picked out as my first racket and I’ve been enjoying it overall, I think I just prefer head heavy rackets. You say this is similar, but like a head heavy version, but would it be better to just go to 88D Game/Tour to try? It seems to slot in the middle price wise, but similarly to the 700/88D Play in terms of shaft flexibility. Thank you for any insight.
Hello, keep delivering great content for the badminton community! Just a quick question Would you suggest astrox 88s game or 88s play? Since you preferred game over tour
I wonder if the vdm made a difference to the noise? Is it just on the handle or throughout the racket? I know that yonex rackets are made very different from say li ning in terms of technology. Apparently yonex is eeking out the traditional technique (less precise) and needs more fineness to keep the quality high. Maybe because machines are old or engineers are traditional (Probably a bit of both!).
Hi, I've had this racket since the beginning of February, and I've always wondered why the string does sound different than other rackets. Is it the VDM that's causing this?
Glad to see you’re back with the racket reviews 👍🏻. I have a question, does Made in taiwan racket like this Astrox Nextage have a barcode at the wooden handle once you remove the grips? P.s Keep the reviews coming in 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice review about this new Astrox❤.I have a question. I'm going to use a Yonex power balance on my Nanoflare 800lt. But i don't know how many millimeters will a balance of the racket increase per piece of the PB. Can you do about this? Thank you!❤
