    I'm surprised there was never a Zelda game in development, especially as the top down perspective works so well in 3D, look at Maze Hunter on the Master System.

      I was a bit shocked as well, having left no stone unturned, it's clear Zelda wasn't coming to video games.

    you know what I just realized? With so many games with the title "Virtual" on the Virtual Boy and "Virtua" on the Sega Saturn, 1995-96 had to be a really confusing time for parents who were buying games for their kids.

    • @Jenovi
      @Jenovi  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's also shaped how I say the word Virtual.....it's Virtua.

      @@Jenovi The funny thing is that naming its franchises "virtua" is a marketing stroke of genius, something i'd like to get into if I ever make a second marketing video.

    Of all the games you showcased the only one I've played is the Mario Kart demo on my Flashboy in my Virtual Boy. It's pretty awesome and would be great if it was finished since there is only 1 track I believe.
    Another amazing review. The VB surely needs more and more games for the real fans. For those of you getting into the Virtual Boy I recommend the Flashboy programmer cart so you can try out many demos on real hardware.

    Thanks so much for doing these episodes. To know that Dragon Hopper was being developed by Intelligent Systems, that at the same time, was creating one of the best games for the SNES (Fire Emblem: Geneology of the Holy War) in 1996 makes me really want to see what that game could have looked like. It could have been a real 10/10 game.
    By the way, will you ever do 'Unreleased Wonderswan Color' in the future by any chance? Final Fantasy III for Wonderswan has got to be one of the most elusive cancelled games of that generation.
    TOSE must have had a prototype or alpha of that game when they stopped development in 2001 because I believe that they reused some of the already completed art assets for another Final Fantasy game (Final Fantasy I:II: Dawn of Souls) a few years down the road (in the form of bosses from FFIII re-appearing in that game as bonus bosses).

      Thanks for watching. I'm not against it, but the research may be near impossible due to the system never being localized. I've done a number of video requiring translated work and it's a very slow process. Still, it sounds like an interesting project, if only to cover the more well known games. Also Lucas is correct, I don't own one at this time.

    • @TheSuperPlayer707

      I think that the one that make the most sense to review it's the Amiga CD32. There's a plenty of informatio of that system on internet that make a video of it seems to be possible to make, at least at my point of view.

  • @TheSuperPlayer707

    Woah... Now I know why the developers did step back of Nintendo while the N64 era, they are just unfair with the developers, starting up from the NES era and I think that the Virtual Boy was the limit.
    The name of the game it's the opossite nowadays, whith the third parties despising Nintendo, but I think that the present situation it's a karma that gained the company due the horrible way that it threat the third parties in the eighties and ninties. Nintendo still doesn't learning the lesson, nevertheless.
