I like your idea here but from my understanding it is best to reduce weight on the Z/X axis because it can cause added imperfections. Maybe it does not matter since the onefinity is very rigid and the weight is not enough to actually cause issue. I would be interested if you notice any surface change with this addon. I look forward to more videos, subscribed.
Haven't had any problems so far. But I think the larger mount plus the spindle weighs more than this addition. So hopefully if it works for that I shouldn't see any problems.
