I also read that he wrote music pieces in honour of the battles for the independence of Poland that were fought in those years and even if I'm not Polish I can feel the energy in his music and his love for his country.

Nocturne op.9 no.2 is currently my favorite Chopin piece, finding out he made it at 22, the same age that I am while writing this, is making me both incredibly happy and slightly depressed
why would you feel depressed? the man has been playing and composing for 15 years at that point. thats an INSANE amount of time. 22 is still early in your life, so if you start right now or even in the next couple of years youll be able to make amazing things in a few years (or even less f you study and practice intensely). ive even heard of an 80~yo grandmother that started learning piano and became a virtuoso after about 2-3 years, think about that.
@@nathanbegel4505 why impossible? my 87yo grandma is as fit as a fiddle, im sure she could do it too (if she had the desire and drive). I heard the story from an internet stranger sharing their story, of course it could be fake, but i dont think it is
@knopfir Because becoming a virtuoso in 3 years even for someone very young is super quick, and also because when we get older our brain capacity decreases making learning harder than when you're a little one. But that doesn't mean you can't learn being an adult, I know a professional double bassist in an orchestra that started at 18!
@nathanbegel4505 Well she probably isnt at a professional performant level, but its definitely possible to reach intermediary level if you know how to learn, especially with all the resources out there (or if she got a teacher).
This is an absolute delight, thank you, all pieces are pure genius, played by such a phenomenal pianist. And the March Funebre is an absolutely stunning piece of music when you listen to it in it's entirety, beyond the familiar part we all recognise I always say to people, listen to it all, you'll be surprised at it's content.
Absolutely best composition in 2024. In the almost 70 years I've been listening to music - nothing written in that time has been worth the "effort" - and along comes something new that's worth listening to. I'm glad my radio has an off button & I've a cache of records and CDs. Hopefully Chopin, Bach and Beethoven get back to writing even more.

Nel sentirla al pianoforte io avverto tanto studio, ricerca di perfezione nei minimi dettagli, nel fraseggio, chiarezza espositiva anche nei minimi dettagli e tutto è più chiaro e cristallino. Non c'è abuso di pedale per dare quella patina di sostegno della coda sonora che nasconde tanti dettagli a volte proprio voluta e ricercata al fine di celare la tanta "poca chiarezza" che sfoggiano. Bravissimo, non ti sfugge nulla e interpreti col cuore ❤...e di questo sono sicuro senza timore di essere smentito
Very well made video, can't even imagine the amount of time it must've taken to practice all those pieces. Just hoped that you would include Polonaise-Fantaisie as it is one of the best late Chopin works in my opinion.
