Mine will have to be either Fantasie-Impromptu or Winter Wind. One question though... Why isn't Grande Valse Brilliante included in this video?
Ballade no 1 in g minor is my favourite piece in the world, better than any another for me !
Nocturne No. 20
I wish i could see ballade no 4 in f minor in this list, ballade no 1 used to be my favourite, but now Ballade no 4 is my favourite. Also wanted to see etude op 25 no 5 in the list.
Other than the first ballade, which is my favorite chopin, I would pick the Heroic Polonaise
The fact that even his 20th most popular work in youtube has over 5 million views says a lot

I invite you to listen to the complete piece: Ballade no. 1 in G minor, Op. 23 for me is my favorite work, it is simply beautiful.💘
I'd have to agree
It's definitely one of the best. I suggest you to give a listen to Sonata no. 2, as played by Josef Hoffman. I think you might like it, and it's my favourite.
It's easily the best and it's not even close. I don't understand how he put it in 11th
Totalmente de acuerdo, esa pieza me salvó la vida.
@@coolghost1988 It is one of my favorite pieces too (I've been learning it) but this video is ranked by popularity (views) not by how good they are
It’s incredible how his famous pieces list could extend past this 20 list
Repent and trust in Jesus. we deserve Hell for our sins. For example lying, lusing, saying God's name as a cuss word and stealing our just some examples of sin which we can all admit to doing at least one of those. The last one is such... Indescribable in words, Chopin's talent in the piano is simply unrivalled
Please do listen to more of his music if you enjoy that nocturne, it introduced a lot of people to Chopin (including me)!

I can’t believe Chopin’s Nocturnes and etudes were made by the same person
Lieben Mozart! I think you would do also different styles... If not that poison....
😅. Hi Mozart !
SSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd love to play Winter Wind to someone who says classical music is boring, just so I can watch them jolt awake a few seconds into the piece.
Lol, thats actually a good idea, except for the fact winter wind is like impossible
I learned the first page for basically this reason lol... now just to find a victim
@@itscmg331 I actually played that etude last year, but I made several mistakes. At least I memorized the whole thing back then.
@@itscmg331 And of course, that etude is no joke. It was really hard for me.
Is boring for those without Spirit, there's a lot of people without Spirit, they are like dead inside
The most famous pieces by Chopin in my country, Japan, would be like this.
1.Nocturne. Op.9 No.2
2.Waltz Op.64 No.1 'Minute'
3.Etude Op.10 No.3 'Tristesse'
4.Prelude Op. 28 No. 7
5.Etude Op.10 No.12 'Revolutionary'
6.Waltz Op.18 "Grande valse brillante"
7.Piano Sonata No.2, III. Funeral March
Kawaii so da ta noka ne san byako ka .
The music is good, but man its hard to believe those portraits are of the same person 💀
You re absolutely right. Some are contemporary images oh his . Some are made after his death with much phantasy I would say. And one or two seemed to me pictures of other musicians, C. M v. Weber for example or Menelssohn.
The fact that he composed some of these beautiful songs at age 20 and 21 is insane
It may not be famous, but one of my favorite pieces is the Prelude in C minor.
it is sure one of his most famous preludes, id say top 5
I love Chopin ♥️
That's great me to I love
OH REALLY ALOT OF PEAPLE LOVE HIM (ME TOO) (:
Fun fact about the waltz in A minor: Did you know that this piece "wasn't" wrote by Chopin? I mean... partly it was! Anyway, the left hand of this piece does not sound like chopin's left hands and that's curious, long story short, Chopin really made the melody, but the harmony was made by his student, Charlotte de Rothschild! Her asked him to write a melody and so he did. Her used his melody and published four pieces for piano, taking all the credits. After Chopin's death we know that is a "half" chopin piece
Nice story!
Whats the diference between melody and harmony?
I think you should have let waltz in c-sharp minor play a little longer, the most recognizable part was right about to happen
Chopin was simply in a class by himself. Every piece is powerful and says something to the human soul
Minute Waltz 3:24 , and Waltz in A minor 0:02 , Marche funèbre 11:38 are my favorites
Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way. We deserve Hell because we've sinned. Lied, lusted stolen, etc. But God sent his son to die on the cross and rise out of the grave. We can receive forgiveness from Jesus. Repent and put your trust in him.

Consider that there are 8 billion people in this world. How many ears has Chopin and classical music in and of itself never entered?
My favourite is the minute waltz I can’t believe it’s not in top 3 it’s one of my most favourite Chopin pieces and I love playing it
Cousin: I’m not good at piano trust me!

Great video
Only a Pole will understand Chopin’s music, created abroad, when his own country was removed from the map for 123 years by murderers and invaders. It is the music of our Polish identity.

wow waltz in a minor should in 20th place? feels rather ecstatic to discover 1st place :)
Prelude in E minor is used in Clubbed to death 2 or at least sounds similar such as same notes numbering but in a different key.
I put this comment here so that everytime someone likes it, I'll be reminded of this song because it heals something in me❤❤❤
Funeral March is the saddest , inspiring and most beautiful piano music ever written IMHO.
Waltz in B minor is just ❤❤❤❤❤❤...

Ballade no 4 is chopin's finnest work in my opinion, but ballade no 1 is my top 2,it was my top 1 before, but now ballade no 4 slaps in.
Ballade no 4, 3rd sonata, Barcarolle, Polonaise Fantasie?

Its so emotional and exciting besides its difficulty the coda is amazing sounding

Wait how does it have views when Chopin doesn’t have a channel 🧐
Why is chopin kinda....
Underrated 💀
Fun fact: 1st piece also the top 1 in the classical music
Maybe for piano not if other instruments get included.. for example vivaldi four seasons
I would imagine fur Elise, Turkish march, eine kleine nachtmusik, canon in D, Beethoven's 5th intro, or Ode to Joy would be the top ones, above nocturne op 9 no 2.
Если бы ещё сыграли нормально. Что это за срывы в темпах?
I'm somewhat disappointed you put the beginning of the ballade instead of the beautiful moments that come up after
Where’s Ballade no1?!
So his most iconic waltz is 20? I guess it's not really a fan favorite
Somewhat suprised by the 2nd but certainly not the 1st

My Piece
I am not an expert, but I would just like to say that 19, 17, 13, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, these pieces contain a bit of randomness or do not carry specific feelings, but rather conflicting ones, unlike the rest, which were balanced and meaningful.
Its just these pieces have a really deep feeling
I disagree with 6
The reason its sounds random is because this is played by a computer which has no feelings to the pieces

One of the most overrated composers, in my opinion. Some of his ballads and nocturnes do deserve their popularity, but the majority of his works are merely a display of his remarkable technique and nothing more. The rest, by their nature, are "entertaining" pieces. On the other hand, I understand that Chopin, like Liszt, played an important role in the development of music, and without them, many later composers, including those of the late Romantic era, would not have existed. The main role of early Romanticism was to give birth to the late Romantic era
As a Polish person i stand proud
