Ah man. That IBIS KILLED me once you put it on the hood. Wasn't too bad on the door though. Wish Canon would improve on it - it's about the same on the R6 too. Dope video though bro, been looking for a car mount, I'll have to check this one out. 🙏🏿🙏🏿
I appreciate you bro. Yeah, the IBIS works at times but, sometimes it’s not worth the risk of ruining the footage. Definitely the best car mount I’ve used so far though ✊🏾
Thanks for the info! I decided on picking this up for action shots using my Canon 5D mk 2. What I still am not clear on is what head I need to mount my camera to this car mount. Thanks again!
There is a screw that's included that will mount the camera to the base. But having a fluid head between the camera and car mount base will make it a lot easier to position.
This suction mount is so interesting, Mielz. Do you know if there are any laws prohibiting the use of these suction mounts? I would like to film on my A7SIII on the freeway with one of these for a dash cam like footage.
is there a specific fluid head that you would recommend? I want to get my bf the camtree, but i also want to get everything else for him as well to make it easier. could you link any links that could be helpful please 🥹 also if i get the fluid head should i still get the swivel base?
Maybe a polarizer could have helped with the reflections
Use a polarizer for the windshield shot

@@Mielz Is this mount good for highway speeds like approximately 50MPH for example?
It should be it mounted correctly. I haven’t tried it though

Thanks for this video bro. Imma pick one these up right now!
Great Video man I had been looking at this same mount for my r6 and this review really helped to inform my decision!
Glad I could help! ✊🏾
Great video!! Awesome footage as well!! Definitely earned a sub! 👌🏾
I appreciate that!
Great video, thanks for the info!
How safe does this feel? Want to get one for some car shoots, but also not trying to damage a $100k vehicle lol

Man they beat hard
Preciate ya! You played ball? Where?
tough 🔥
I’m literally on a video shoot now using it for the first time.
perfect timing, was just looking at getting this mount. Do you think it would be able to support a gimbal with a camera on it? around 8lbs total

How is the vibration? I’m debating this with a spring vibration unit on top
It can vibrate a bit so if you have something that can suppress it then it’ll probably be useful
Hey just wondering what mm lense is good for that cuz mines too zoomed in
anywhere i can buy the safety rope separately ?
🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!

also I’m open to any recommendations to any car mounts that you believe are better
Invest in some better support cables. One of mine broke.
I thought you were filming Road not yourself thats why i was comparing you to Jutah channel .Anyway this setup like transformers is too big and scary
how to lessen the vibrations ? can we put gimbal on it but there will be still vibrations. vibration isolator
try using the "motion stabilizer" effect in premiere pro or after effects (if that's what you use to edit)
