I'm a 5'5", 65 year old woman and absolutely love my 2020 Road King. In town. On the road. Takes me in style and comfort. I get tickled when folks call the 107 engine "small". The road king is a beast when compared to previous bikes I've owned. And that is why they make chocolate and vanilla 😊 Enjoy your Heritage!
Road King is a great motorcycle along with the Heritage. Took me a long time to make up my mind. The 107 Milwaukee 8 is plenty of motor for anyone for sure. I got the 114 Heritage because of the blacked out look but a 107 would have been just fine too. Enjoy your Road King! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks for watching and subscribing. I really appreciate it and glad you enjoyed the video. The Heritage is a great bike and so is the Road King. I love both of them! Ride safe. I was just in Illinois last week on business - one day in Glenview and one in Oak Lawn. Man that Chicago is a big city.
I’m a long time motorcyclist. Love it to this day . I’m in North Georgia myself . Living in Hayesville NC now . Work in your area . Have for 30 plus years . Construction
I faced the same dilemma as you looking at the Road King versus Heritage. I Like the color matched hard bags and also as you mentioned the way they open. Motor size wasn’t an issue. I ended up with a 2018 Heritage Classic with the 107, that I picked up in January. I am not mad at the 107 at all. I have never and don’t think I will ever go man I just wish I had more power. The weight difference really wasn’t an issue, although very noticeable. At the end of the day, it all came down to the fact that I just felt more comfortable sitting on the Heritage. Glad I found your channel. Look forward to exploring more of your videos.
You and I share pretty much the same thoughts on the two motorcycles. I agree the 107 is plenty of power and the reason I chose the 114 was primarily the blacked out color scheme instead of chrome. Thanks for watching and ride safe.
Both the Heritage and the RK have that Iconic Harley look. Beautiful Bikes. I really like the larger led readout (if that's what it's called... I'm old) on the speedo of the Heritage. A guy can't go wrong with either and you just have to take your own riding into consideration. Nice ride!
Like I said in my video I could have easily walked into the dealer that day and bought a Road King if they would have had one in a nice color that I liked. I would probably been just as happy with the RK as I am with the Heritage. Both great motorcycles. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe. I enjoyed your video riding through Victoria. I’ve been there on business a few times and loved it. Especially the Ferry ride from Vancouver.
What a beautiful day for a ride. Thanks for another great video on your beautiful new motorcycle. If I were going to get another Harley I think it would be the Heritage . I like the hard leather bags better than the painted ones. Enjoy your freedom today everyone. God Bless America.
Your bike is beautiful and really get the weight difference. Know when I ride my older Road King, I do enjoy the no fairing, less weight and more wind in my face. Always love seeing your videos pop up and appreciate your kind words. Mustang seat fan man here too. Ride safe sir!
Thanks for watching and I’ve told Mrs GRM that I need to start researching my second bike. She just rolls her eyes at me but I’m used to it after all these years. Headed to Michigan this week but no time for taking an extra day to ride. Hopefully in July. Ride safe my friend.
This just showed up in my feed, but my input I love my 2003 Heritage Softail Classic,100 year addition,I looked at a RK and then test drove the Heritage and I was sold, getting ready for a trip to Myrtle Beach from Ohio and I completely have trust in this bike
It was a tough call for me between the Road King and Heritage, but I made the right choice. Now I’ll probably go out and buy a Road King sometime. Ha ha. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip!
@@GARamblinMan the trip to Myrtle Beach was a great trip on the Heritage, not a hiccup out of her! Planning on another trip before summer ends! Ride safe🤘🏻
Picking the correct bike for your comfort is important! The ability to handle the bike in hazardous situations can be the difference between life and death. Both bikes are incredible, and it’s nice to have many HD choices. I’m 6’4”, 260, I have a road king, fits me like a glove.
You are correct on that. I feel very comfortable on the Heritage and like the way it handles. I’m very confident on it and that matters a lot for safety. Sounds like your Road King fits you too. Thanks for watching ride safe.
Hello George, I love watching your videos keep up the good work. I currently ride a 2015 Honda shadow Aero used to be my back up bike until I hit a deer and totaled my 2015 Yamaha V-Star 950. I broke my wrists and several fingers on each hand. I was going 50 miles per hour when the deer came out of nowhere. It was the morning of October 20 2021 on my 50 mile ride to work. It’s 2 1/2 years to retirement . I’m looking forward to riding once the snow melts here in Buffalo New York probably gonna be around mid April. If your ever in the Western New York area look me up would love to ride with you. I noticed a young man in the beginning of the video reminded me of my granddaughter Chickoya she has CP. Keep up the good work I enjoy the videos. By the way the heritage classic is the bike I was actually going to buy with the insurance money from my accident and sale of my 2015 Honda. I almost bought a later model heritage classic. However the wife is not happy with my motorcycling to begin with and the accident hasn’t helped so in order to keep her happy I decided to use the money to pay off our summer park model trailer. But one of these days I will be riding a Heritage classic. I really enjoyed the review thank you
Thanks for the kind words. I considered the Honda Aero 750 and Yamaha Star 950 when I bought my Suzuki C50T Boulevard about 10 years ago. All great bikes. The young man at the start of my video is my step-son, Dan. He has Down Syndrome and is a wonderful human being. Thanks for watching and ride safe.
Just received and installed the Mustang seats with backrest on my Heritage 2021 Custom 114... It is outstanding! Thank you for sending the stock numbers. Hopefully on day we can meet.
Glad it worked out. Mine is really broken in now and last Friday I rode about 300 miles on it back and forth from Atlanta to Lake Lure, NC. Seat was comfortable the whole way and I love it.
Thank you. You've provided me some information to think about. I just demo'd the RK Special. It is a heavy machine. And I found the stock handle bar to be a bit too wide for my liking, and particularly in turning. I like the blacked out look, and it was the engine that impressed (114). So maybe the Heritage is the better pick after all, not to mention less expensive. As an ADV rider generally, it will take some adjustments to riding these more cruising type bikes.
I think you’ll love the Heritage with the mini ape handle bars and seating position. It’s very comfortable and the 114 seals the deal for me. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good luck with your purchase.
We finally got some nice weather here in central Pa. today so I got to put down a few miles. I been thinking that my next bike may be a blacked out Heritage. I just like the old school look and the fact that it is a little lighter. Ride safe.
I bought a blacked-out 2019 Heritage a couple of months ago-my first bike in 30 years, and my first Harley. I absolutely love it. I enjoy your riding videos. I used to live in the Hickory Flat area off 140 in Cherokee County. Such beautiful country. Will I could ride those north Georgia roads.
I ride around the Hickory Flat area a lot. All over Cherokee, Forsyth and Pickens Counties. Great roads! I love my Heritage too. My first Harley-Davidson and a great choice.
I agree with you three years ago when I was looking for a Steady Cruiser I couldn't work out why the bigger Road King had the smaller engine The 114cu engine was my final decision so I bought the Heritage .have a nice day
They should really make the 114 an option on the Road King standard. Probably cut into their Road King Special sales. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
I'm with you 100% on the simplicity of the Heritage. I really do like the RK special as it too has a very open front area. I do not require the fancy fairing with all the distractions that they present to you when riding. Congrats on the new bike and I hope you enjoy many great miles of riding. A big g'day from australia mate, and subbed.
Looks like we think alike. I do like the Road King and am sure would have been happy with it but the Heritage just seemed the best for me. Australia is on my bucket list for sure to visit one day and ride. I follow several Aussie channels and always love the scenery. Ride safe.
Thank you for the review. I have been test riding Heritage classics, 2018 to 2021. I also test rode the Road King, a 2017 & 2018. I thought I was sold in the HC but the RK changed my mind. As you say to each their own. I was blown away by the handling and rude of the RK. I understand the weight difference but that touring frame really was wonderful.
In my Harley riding history going back to high school from 1958-1962 I've never known Harley-Davidson to put vinyl upholstery on any bike they made. Heritage bags are leather wrapped too. My 1957 Harley 165cc 2-stroke Hummer had a leather seat.
They have always been my two favorite Harley-Davidson motorcycles. If I was 20 years younger I would have probably got the Road King. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
The Heritage Softail has a lower-slung chassis compared to the Road King. The Road King is heavier and longer than the Heritage Softail. The Road King has better suspension and ground clearance compared to the Heritage Softail. The Heritage Softail is more user friendly and comfortable. The Road King’s engine is mounted using the rubber mount methodology while the Heritage Softail is mounted with the newer counterbalance method. The Heritage Softail is much more agile and maneuverable. This makes it suitable for everyday commuting also so you would get more use out of it. Better wind protection on the Road King. It is up to the person on which they would want over the other, both are good motorcycles, and different aspects may appeal to one person than another.
Thanks for putting out all these details. Very helpful. Looks like there are definitely reasons for the two bike designs. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
All the M8 engine s are counter balanced the twin cam has a A and B motor s the B motor was for Softails and counter balanced the A motor touring and dyna's rubber mounted
The new heritage is a great bike and it is even better when you take the time to choose a bike for the kind of riding you do, have fun and enjoy your bike
I enjoy your videos mate. I might well go down the heritage avenue soon and consolidate 2 Harleys (M8 Ultra and a 2009 Softail) into 1. Had a Evo Heritage years ago and loved it. I reckon the 114 ci motor with a good midrange cam, free flowing exhaust would be fun and reliable. Have fun George.
This Heritage with the 114 motor and Stage 1 upgrade is a beast. I love it. Thanks for watching and good luck in your purchase. Australia remains my #1 bucket list destination to go riding someday.
Had a roadking then bought the 18 heritage which was a fun bike but not for long rides. Traded in on a 2020 road king and put 22,000 miles in a year. A lot for living in the northeast
I think it’s the best motorcycle that Harley-Davidson makes, but I do want to check out that new Low Rider ST. I need a bigger garage (and wallet). Ha! Thanks for watching.
I’ve ridden both the older model Heritage bikes and the newer ones after 2018 and I know you will like these newer models. They are lighter and suspension is better not to mention the Milwaukee 8 motor. Get the 114 if you can - it’s an awesome motor. Thanks for watching and ride safe!
The Mrs and I put about 150 miles on the bike yesterday. She wanted to have lunch by the water, and Myrtle Beach was a bit far at that point, so we road up to Lake Norman. I rode nearly 400 miles over the weekend, and 715 with @NCStoney last weekend. Great choice with the Heritage, Stoney loves his and for what you want in a bike, it’s probably the best one. I’ve started cornering fast enough to feel the Ultra’s outdated rear suspension (2007)...came close to going yesterday to look at a new one 😳.
I know the feeling of having an older motorcycle and just wanting a shiny new one with a lot more safety and convenience features. I had my 2005 Suzuki Boulevard for almost 8 years and it was just time. Glad you’ve been able to ride so much lately. This is the perfect time of the year to put down those miles. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
I own a 2015 Harley Super Low 1200T I bought used in 2015 (had kess than 1000 iles when I bough it from a young girl).I also bought a used 2020 Harley Low Rider S in 2021 that had less than 600 miles (from the wife of a husband that owned a Harley Road Glide). i thought about the Heritage Classic and maybe I should have bought that instead of the HDLRS. But my HDLRS is an awesome motorcycle and I love it. And to be truthful was not that familar with the Heritage Classic at the time I made mind on my HDLRS. W/E
The Heritage is a great bike. Had a 2018 with the 114 for 3+ years, putting 18K on her. She was light and nimble, being a good all around bike. Even did Daytona Bike Week from Key West a couple of times with my son who has a 2018 Road King, but he had to carry some of my stuff on the King because of the limited cargo capacity in the Heritage’s bags. Having just moved up to the mainland, Stuart, Florida, and planning some long trips, I just traded her for a new Street Glide Special. But I will miss the Heritage for quick runs and Keys hopping.
I rode the Street Glide in Arizona last year for a couple of days. For longer touring I don’t think you can beat it. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
I also really like the Heritage for the weight. You are right both bikes are so close to each other. By the way, your pipes are sounding great! Ride Safe
I agree with you about not riding with fairings. If you have a full Fairing with GPS and Radios etc, you might as well buy a sports car or a Tricycle. Soft tail Heritage Classic has the old style that I like and unless you are 6’6” and weigh 250lbs, Heritage Classic is a better bike cuz its lighter, faster and nimble. The engine on the Heritage is also bigger for a lighter bike so it handles like a fighter. Heritage is a sports car like new Corvette versus Road King is a Chevy Camaro.
We think alike for sure. The classic styling of the Heritage and its light weight and handling convinced me it was the motorcycle for me. After two years I have no regrets and love it. Thanks for watching and your comments. Ride safe.
As always love your videos. Love the bike. Glad you got to ride on Memorial Day. We rode in Ride for America in Loganville GA. They estimated about 900 bikes. I have a question about the Heritage. How does it handle in corners. I was watching some videos at other bikes I’m interested in for example the Indian Scout. Some people say it doesn’t feel good in corners. What’s your take on the Heritage in corners? Thanks for sharing keep posting videos.
The Loganville Memorial Day ride sounds awesome. I like the way the Heritage handles in all situations including corners. It’s smaller and lighter weight than the big tourers so it’s easier for me especially at lower speeds. At higher speeds it leans very easily into the turns and I’ve yet to scrape the floor boards. That being said it’s probably not as nimble as a smaller Indian Scout or Harley Sportster or Street Bob. But given the comfort of the ride on the Heritage I think it’s a winner. Thanks for watching and the nice comments. Ride safe.
Similar to the decision I made. I looked at the electraglide , road king and heritage the pros for the RK and EG : hard bags, no spokes, faring , dual front discs and tour suspension. I went with the heritage for the blackout look, lighter , bars that fit me better , engine and the ability to take off the bags and wind screen. The problem I have with fairings is they are great in the winter. In the summer they decrease air flow a lot. It’s gets awfully hot here in Texas and I want that wind to cool me off. There is nothing wrong with metric cruisers. I had a Honda VTX in 2004 and it was a fine bike. A thing that’s not mentioned is metrics lose their value very fast. Harleys don’t.
Your reasons were a lot like mine for choosing the Heritage. Good point in the Harley-Davidson motorcycles keeping their value. That’s why I bought a new one. The new Heritage was not that much more than the used ones I looked at. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
I'm not surprised one bit you chose a heritage. You have always seemed to lean towards them? I had an 09 heritage loved it! I'm on a 2020 road glide special now great bike but a heritage would suit 99% of my riding just fine. But I do take a couple multi thousand miles trips a year. And I do like the Navigation and stereo in the fairing never thought I would but I do. Congratulations on your new bike I know your going to enjoy it for many years to come.
Thanks and if I ever go on a really long trip I might think about renting a Road Glide with all the extras too. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
I know the feeling. Just pick one and you won’t be disappointed. Both are great motorcycles. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe and good luck.
In so far as the saddlebags are concerned, I'm pretty sure that the only thing to be leather is the thin strip to which the rectangular studs are attached. This strip adorns the sides of the bags and wraps around to the rear and is what allows Harley Davidson to make the deceptive claim that the bags are wrapped in studded leather. Oh, and I just bought a (new) 2021 with the 114 and am very anxious for spring to arrive (I live in Canada so it's not here yet).
You’re going to love that 114 with this light Softail frame. I love the Heritage but the bags could definitely be better. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
Nice video and scenery. Also I enjoy your conversations. I have a 2020 Suzuki c50t and was wondering if you get the wind up from under the windshield and tank on your Heritage like the Suzuki c50t. How do you like the higher handlebars on your Heritage? Thanks for another great video on your new Harley. 👍
I do get the wind coming up from under the windshield and around the tank on my new Heritage. Pretty much just like the Boulevard. I think some lower wind deflectors would help but that’s a low priority for me. I actually don’t mind some wind on me so long as it’s not beating at my mid section and chest. The windshield keeps that from being a problem. I love the mini ape handlebars on the Heritage. Very comfortable riding position. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe!
I'd agree with the handling if it had a better lean angle. The Road King has a much better lean angle which for me is the better handling bike. Both are pretty sweet though.
Good point on the lean angle. The old models of the Heritage (2017 and earlier) were terrible for leaning and the floorboards were always scraping. The newer models are better. I scraped mine once leaning pretty hard into a curve going around a traffic circle but it’s been fine for my normal riding. I was always surprised at how well the Road King handled even as heavy as it is. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
Good to see you out enjoying that great new ride. Are you going to make it to VAMM21? If not we ought to get together for a ride in the near future. Be well and safe.
Why would I pick the heritage classic over the Road King? I prefer the leather looking bags on the Heritage over the hard looking bags of the Road King. But DANG for only $500 more I could just take the hard bags off the Road King and throw on new leather looking bags for the better suspension of the Road King.
I actually liked the hard bags on the Road King better. But everything else about the Heritage I liked so I picked it. I would have been happy with either the Road King or Heritage. Different day I might have chosen the RK. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
Hi there I have just picked up a 2021 Heritage 107 new I have owned her for 6 months. We went out for a 600 kilometres ride yesterday and what a great bike I found out what a stock standard bike could do. I am thinking of putting a Stage kit in any thoughts on which one looking at the 2 or 3 kit
I did the Stage 1 exhaust upgrade for mine with the Harley-Davidson tuner and Vance & Hines Eliminator 300 slip ons. It has a great low rumble now and I love it. I think the Stage 1 is all I will do. I have the 114 cubic inch motor and it’s all the power I need. I used the Harley-Davidson tuner to preserve my warranty. You should check with your dealer on that before you put an after market tuner on it. I have a video on the Vance & Hines exhaust I put on - check it out. Enjoy your new bike and ride safe! Thanks for watching.
I sure hope so. I’ve always been pretty meticulous about maintenance and taking care of my motorcycles and cars so I’m sure this new Harley-Davidson will last me a long time.
I love the way it handles too. Very low center of gravity and the seating position with the mini ape handlebars fits me great. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
Beautiful bike! I like the deluxe in pearl white did you ever test ride one. That would be the bike i would buy to add to my stable lol i only have a 2020 Roadmaster. I think the Harley deluxe is the most beautiful bike i have seen stock but for ride comfort my Roadmaster is better than the Harleys and i think it handles better and rides much smoother but for looks alone i would love to add a deluxe from solo riding.
I test rode a Deluxe a couple of years ago in a cherry red color. Beautiful bike for sure. Too bad HD discontinued that model. I loved them with white walls and no bags or windshield - just a naked bike. It’s what a motorcycle should look like.
@@GARamblinMan I agree but my wife loves riding with me and even picked out the color. We went halfers on the bike so we could ride together so how could i say no the thing can carry a week of groceries so the truck stays parked most of the summer lol. We tried Harleys and a Kawasaki voyager which is a great bike for the money it also rode smoother than the Harley. I am older and have back issues so ride comfort is very important to me.If Harley improved the suspension back then we might have got one but that and the valanced fenders and classic 50s look won me over. She said the Roadmaster was the most comfortable for her and i agreed so no Roadmaster no bike lol. I could not understand why they discontinued the deluxe in pearl white no other bike in stock form comes close to its beauty i really want one .Indian and Harley both make great bikes and i love my Roadmaster just wish i had the money to own two bikes the Deluxe would be the only other bike i would buy. Glad you got the bike that makes you happy and safe travels my friend.
The heritage is the "road king" of harley no questions or arguments to be had. Strip it down for a cruiser and load it down for distance. The only thing road king has thats better is lean angle and hard saddle bags..... which does not affect the ride to ur average rider.
The nice painted hard bags were really the only thing I thought the Road King was better at than the Heritage but I still love both bikes. Thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it.
I’ve watched videos of the Police motorcycle officer training. They are amazing how they handle those big Road Kings at slow speeds. I think most motorcycle riders never come close to that skill or lean their bikes to the maximum lean angles they are capable of. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I did not mean to imply that the Memorial Day holiday is a happy occasion. It is a somber day of remembrance and I get that. Thanks for watching and thank you for your service to our country.
The Road King is everything the Heritage is not. RK’s 6 gallons vs 5 for the Heritage RK has much better cornering clearance then Heritage RK better slow speed maneuvers RK more nimble in the twisty’s RK’s touring frame better on long trips. And the list goes on.
Rode the Road King and although I loved it, can't agree about being more nimble on twists or about town. Think most would agree with me there. I went for the Heritage and love it..especially for European roads. I'm in Ireland and it suits better..I do love the bags on the road king and it's a great highway (motorway) bike..but I avoid those when I want to ride
@ThePatcarolan I agree with you completely. Both the Road King and Heritage are great motorcycles and it’s really personal preference. I do think the Heritage being lighter does handle a bit better in slow speed maneuvering but the Road King is good. The only real advantage I see to the Road King is the painted hard bags. Thanks for watching l!

We finally got some nice weather, but my wife decided we were going for a bicycle ride instead. Bike does sound great 👍
Good video and I hope you enjoy that heritage. Ride safe and thanks for sharing.
Ride safe.
Went the same road you on to go to killer creek harley today from blue ridge beautiful ride
Today was about as good as it gets for motorcycle riding in December. Love the South! Thanks for watching and glad you had a great ride.
I really could have gone with either the Heritage or the Road King. I love them both. Thanks for watching and have fun on the RK.
@@GARamblinMan I picked it up today, 2017 Road King 107 M8
In my Harley riding history going back to high school from 1958-1962 I've never known Harley-Davidson to put vinyl upholstery on any bike they made. Heritage bags are leather wrapped too. My 1957 Harley 165cc 2-stroke Hummer had a leather seat.
They are both fine rides. Good luck.
New sub! Love the content! Down to earth dude. 👍 I got the '21 Heritage Classic in Deadwood Green. Love that bike bro!!!
Thanks for subscribing and the kind words. I love the Deadwood Green color combo. Enjoy the new Heritage!
Good video, both bikes are best looking Harleys in my opinion! Nice coffin mirrors!
I like those Dominion mirrors too. I’ve always thought the Heritage and Road King are the most classic looking Harleys.
looking at the heritage and the rk
Had the Boulevard before getting my 03 Ultraclassic,
Will have to ride both as well.
Nice to see the video
Ride both and no matter which one you pick you’ll have a great motorcycle. Thanks for watching. Ride safe.
both are great looking bikes!
Thanks and I agree with you completely. I sure took long enough to make up my mind for sure!
Great review and I appreciated your insight on the Boulevard. Cheers!
I almost bought a Road King. Can’t go wrong with either bike.
Great video. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
Good sounding ride me. Enjoy it 😎👍
The new Vance & Hines pipes sound awesome.
I want to upgrade to the newer Heritage. They ride so nice. I could tour on one of those no problem, as I already do on my current Heritage.
It’s a great and comfortable touring bike.
Awesome thoughts , and reasoning there , along with some good views , stay safe .
It was a gorgeous day to ride and some great roads around here. Thanks for watching. Ride safe.
The Harley-davidson Heritage Classic 114 is a fantastic motorcycle.
I think it’s the best motorcycle that Harley-Davidson makes, but I do want to check out that new Low Rider ST. I need a bigger garage (and wallet). Ha! Thanks for watching.
I love my 07 heritage. I will upgrade to a new heritage soon because of the hard saddlebags and bigger motor.
@@GARamblinMan thank you for the advice it douse feal lighter. I'm hoping to get a newer one in the next few months.
Sounds like you made a great choice. It took me a year to decide on my next bike. RSMF
It took me about 5 years but at least I know it was not a rash decision. Hope you’re healing up and will be on the road soon.
Ride safe.
Like the Heritage also !
Love your reviews. Can you recommend fork defectors. Thank You and stay safe..
I chose a Road King because I wanted hard bags.
That’s the big thing I liked on the Road King and other touring models over the Heritage.
Ride Safe
It handles just the way I like and I agree these pipes sound awesome. Well worth it. Thanks for watching. Ride safe.
Ride safe.
I must have watched 20 videos on heritage or RK and I am still undecided
I know the feeling. Just pick one and you won’t be disappointed. Both are great motorcycles. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe and good luck.
@@GARamblinMan thank you, do the same
Got mine for the same reasons. I loved my RK but the Heritage is much lighter and handles better! Plus I can flat foot it without changing the seat!
I love the low seat height and how well it’s balanced. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
I won’t be at the Virginia meet up. My wife and I will be in Florida those days. We will have to figure out a weekend soon and meet for a ride.
@@GARamblinMan I'm all for it sir. Be well.
God bless him. Thumbs up kid. Have a 16 heritage teal white and love it. Agree with fairings not a fan
I love that color combo. He’s a great kid. Thanks for watching. Ride safe.
Cool helmet and bike
Thanks. I love both! The helmet was expensive but I like the Arai quality and fit and the US flag graphic sealed the deal. Thx for watching!
Very nice ride today. I didnt realize the RK was around 100lbs heavier... not sure where it hides it hahah. I think you made a solid choice man!
Weight in in the front end, nacelle, six gallon tank over a 5 gallon and the road King is on a touring frame. it all adds up
@@renniesmith8073 thank you for that!
Ride safe.
@@GARamblinMan yep can confirm I rode both and they are both great rides and your sounds and looks great. Ride safe man and enjoy the ride 😎👍
I like that windshield tool bag, where did you get it From?
I ordered it off the Harley-Davidson website.
Your son cracked me up! 🤣😂 “You gonna see any cute girls? Jk. You’re married”.
He’s a hoot for sure. Thanks for watching.
If you do maintenance on a Harley regular and don’t dog it, they will last just as long as a Japanese bike these days.
I sure hope so. I’ve always been pretty meticulous about maintenance and taking care of my motorcycles and cars so I’m sure this new Harley-Davidson will last me a long time.
Owned both..... bottom line for me the Heritage handles better
If I was going to ride across the country, s Roadmaster would be at the top of my list!
Would love to ride with you sometime ✌️
Maybe one day! We just have to figure it out. Thanks for watching.
There is a feature that keeps you from messing around with the GPS while your moving. It's in between your ears!!
You speak the truth for sure! But Sometimes I have brain cramps though.
Famous last words "I am done spending money".
Ha ha! You are correct. Thanks for watching.
Heritage is the best bike Harley ever made
You won’t get an argument from me on that. I agree! Thanks for watching!
There is a reason the Cops choose the Road King. A greater lean angle = better manoeuvrability
I’ve watched videos of the Police motorcycle officer training. They are amazing how they handle those big Road Kings at slow speeds. I think most motorcycle riders never come close to that skill or lean their bikes to the maximum lean angles they are capable of. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Fyi for us veterans it's Not A Happy Day
I did not mean to imply that the Memorial Day holiday is a happy occasion. It is a somber day of remembrance and I get that. Thanks for watching and thank you for your service to our country.
The Road King is everything the Heritage is not.
RK’s 6 gallons vs 5 for the Heritage
RK has much better cornering clearance then Heritage
RK better slow speed maneuvers
RK more nimble in the twisty’s
RK’s touring frame better on long trips.
And the list goes on.
I love the Road King and it was a close call for me. I’m glad Harley-Davidson makes both models. Thanks for watching and ride safe.
@@ThePat1962 The RK’s greater lean angle make it more nimble in slow tight turns and way more capable in the twisties.
@@GARamblinMan Look at the police motorcycle skills competitions. The RK and SG dominant. You never see Softtail Heritage’s in these events.
