Ive been playing with tech decks since the early 2000s and used to skateboard well before that too, so i know how to set one up for the most part, but as far as the grip tape on a finger board goes i wasn’t sure how to do it. I don't know if you know but Teak isn't pro boards, it's just intermediate boards. The boards are from china and so is everything else.

    • @stickyartfb
      @stickyartfb  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree ☝️Teak calls their boards and trucks pro. I think there decent quality! But since I got a better setup with a handmade board and dynamic trucks. I would not consider teak to be a pro board I think considering the shape is very standard.

      also what do i do with the spacers?

    • @stickyartfb
      @stickyartfb  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did the decal peal off? Get ahold of teak if it wore down fro doing grinds it’s supposed to it’s a “real wear” graphic I believe and is made to look more realistic. If you got spacer trucks put them on the axel first then the wheel and then put the nuts on the truck 👍

  • @Brakidoo
    @Brakidoo ปีที่แล้ว

    Super clean setup. I got their progidy trucks and Apex ATP wheels on my tech deck performance deck. I'm thinking up upgrading to one of their 34mm boards but I was wondering does it have any concave along the board? And does it have a tail? (Longer/shorter end) couldn't fully tell with that super clean grip job done so fast 😅👌🏽

    • @stickyartfb
      @stickyartfb  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s med concave from what I can tell a twin shape deck… if one side is short i cannot tell. If you are looking for a directional shape Plike fingerboards on Etsy is my favorite mild to med concave And traditional long nose short tail (my current main setup)

    • @stickyartfb
      @stickyartfb  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a great starter to intermediate setup! Techdeck performance series are nice too but hard to come by in stores. (Typically resold for $20-35) performance series don’t have bearings in the wheels or locknuts.

    The color of the trucks didn’t fit that well to this setup…
    Silver or white would be nearly perfect and would balanced out all of the colors…
    With more color would just fit baby blue (not sure if any trucks out there with that) and maybe even gold but on gold I think I should go with baby blue wheels to get a nice contrast…
    But this, holy smokes, no Idee how you get to the idea that this would looking nice in any way…🙈
