Rooting fiddle leaf fig using water
It took two weeks for the roots to begin take root ,
Then within a month the roots came out well
And I am using this rooted leaf only for decoration

There should be nods for it to grow as a plant. From a single leaf it’ll grow root but it won’t give you any growth. It’ll stay just single leaf unless it has a new bud.

Be warned it may root but it won't grow into a plant if it doesn't have a stem it was rooted from. It won't grow any new leaves or a stem it will stay as a leaf with roots.

It will NOT grow into the plant. The leaf will just continue to have roots and nothing more

It will never bud tho. You need a stem cutting with a node or bud on it.

Did it grow into a whole new plant? I manage to root them successfully, but someone told me that they won't grow into a new plant.... So I'm curious, how's yours doing?

Great Video. Thank you much. I have a question. Once you repot these leaves with the new roots how do you Care them. Do you put them under a direct light or a shade and how often do you water them. Thank you.
This is not my video but to answer your question; as you know this is an indoor plant you place it in indirect sunlight and you water them once or twice in a week in summer or you just keep it moist.
You should let the fiddle lead dry completely out in between waterings
Let the fiddle dry out completely between watering. I have about 4 fiddles

@@miketrujillo874 hey Mike. So what I've realized is the single leaf does not develop is it doesn't have a bud. You can plant and water but after about 2 months of so it will die.... if left in water the same happens. Well that's just my experience. If there is a bud what I do after the roots develop and I repot it..... i drench the soil and water it once weekly til I see new growth. When I notice the bud opening to a new leaf.. then onwards I let it dry completely. Hope this helps

Once you transfer it to soil they will become a new plant.
Stay as leaves only. If there is no node, it won’t grow anything else.

they need a lot of indirect sun to grow. A bathroom is not a good idea.

Seems like it will stay just as a leaf with roots. It needs to have a bit of the branch, to grow a longer branch/tree trunk

I bought my seeds via Amazon. But it comes from abroad. The seeds germinated after 35 days.
