It will never bud tho. You need a stem cutting with a node or bud on it.

There should be nods for it to grow as a plant. From a single leaf it’ll grow root but it won’t give you any growth. It’ll stay just single leaf unless it has a new bud.

Hi..just want to know, this way of propagating of leaf, try before, just can seen the leaf maintain same size, no new leaf or grow out at all, waiting for few months

Seems like it will stay just as a leaf with roots. It needs to have a bit of the branch, to grow a longer branch/tree trunk

Great Video. Thank you much. I have a question. Once you repot these leaves with the new roots how do you Care them. Do you put them under a direct light or a shade and how often do you water them. Thank you.
This is not my video but to answer your question; as you know this is an indoor plant you place it in indirect sunlight and you water them once or twice in a week in summer or you just keep it moist.
You should let the fiddle lead dry completely out in between waterings
Let the fiddle dry out completely between watering. I have about 4 fiddles

@@miketrujillo874 hey Mike. So what I've realized is the single leaf does not develop is it doesn't have a bud. You can plant and water but after about 2 months of so it will die.... if left in water the same happens. Well that's just my experience. If there is a bud what I do after the roots develop and I repot it..... i drench the soil and water it once weekly til I see new growth. When I notice the bud opening to a new leaf.. then onwards I let it dry completely. Hope this helps

I bought my seeds via Amazon. But it comes from abroad. The seeds germinated after 35 days.

I did this recently and actually used tap water - Canada
