The fact that all of FromSoft’s expansion releases thus far have evoked that sense of ‘How did we ever play this pre-DLC?’ is _exactly_ why I’ve been so willing to let Miyazaki and his team cook for as long as they have on this. By far my favorite part of the trailer. Miquella is the only person I've seen in the Lands between that's actually fit for the title of Godhood, rather divinity, It seems he's constantly sacrificing of himself for others, is egoless, and has no problem giving up power, sacrificing power to help others. In many eastern religions and philosophies and cultural history, It is considered that one who has attained true strength or true knowledge of the world has no problems giving up their strength and power because they know it's illusion, ego is illusion. Self is illusion.
@@aeriagloris4211 as much as I want to believe this, the gameplay trailer starts with ”Pure and radiant, he wields love to shrive clean the hearts of man”, and Miquella is probably the only one in Elden Ring that can be described as pure and radiant. I would rather do their questlines first. I just hope that most of them don't have to die for me to get their drip. It would be a nice change for once for most of the NPCs to survive for once.
What I always find incredible about Soulsborne DLC is their vision just becomes so much more pronounced. You find the art direction and themes so strong and impressionable in the base game, sure. But then you go through the DLC where designs and presentation just transcend everything you could've expected in the game. They go so hard. I especially hope we get all the bells in the music. I love bells.
They worked on the DLC during the development of the main game and yeah, the DLC will add lots to the world and lore of the game and it's gonna be huge. It has 30 sounds and all the NPCs in the trailer will probably have some sort of quests etc and there were never that many NPCs in a Fromsoftware DLC before.

If you're gonna do another run pre-DLC but dont want it to take forever, the perfect balance they seem to have designed is an "all remembrance" run. It takes you through each area of the game without forcing you to kill all of the side-bosses.
Looks like the DLC will have us literally following in Miquella's footsteps, and we'll run into others who are doing the same. It looks like warriors from all over the world, not just the Lands Between, are in search of Miquella. Hopefully we don't kill him but instead help him bring the Lands Between back to glory.
"I'm calling it now. This is practically a sequel" yea i said that nearly a year ago, they literally had the game engine and so much of the game such as many assets etc already done and it still took multiple years to make a dlc?
I made sure to get all the achievements. So when I go back, I can finally just enjoy the experience and not feel like I missed something. Stacked items and all before that new game + and currently on +3. Some people I knew were on +7 😮.
I think the reason they took this much time on the dlc is because they were developing AC6, normally they don't have another full release in between a base game and it's expansion.
I think it will be huge like an extension more than a simple "dlc". I don`t think it could surprise us the same way as the original game did, but i think it will be fantastic.
Good Reaction Video Max. This Elden Ring DLC looks badass. When it comes too Souls Games, i've gotta be in the mood too Play one, it could be several Years after Relaease before i get into them.
Marika is giving the real Griffith vibes. She apparently betrayed and sacrificed something in order to become a god. But also its true that we don't know Miquella's full intentions yet.
@@yuomovaeh3028 all I’m saying is everyone is glazing miquella and an item description in Elden ring said miquella has learned how to use his affection or something like that, AND he has a group, you could even say a BAND, of people following him. This is a souls game. I don’t think just hearing that a character is good makes him good.
I think you're right. I think it'll be at least half as big as the base game was. FromSoft seem to care about delivering the best experience and I'll spend however much money I need to spend to experience it. Also, Miquella is gonna be the Big Bad, not Messmer. Just my prediction. Unless, I, a Tarnished, choose to be the Big Bad. I dunno. I can barely keep my pants on waiting for this gd DLC.
I wouldn’t say sequel, but a big spin off, I mean that as praise for FromSoft. Because if they do ever make an Elden Ring sequel, it’ll be MUCH bigger.
I love these dark souls games but i really wish they went all out on making them graphically better not to say they look bad but i do think having more next gen graphics with such fidelity would only make the mood and atmosphere more immersive and interesting I hope the future games have such a thing!
When I first played Dark Souls 1 I was really pissed off at how slow everything felt especially since I started with Elden Ring, and then Bloodborne. To add to this frustration, the DLC added 4 new bosses, 3 of which were lightning fast in their attacks and movements. I was so tilted I had to play a new playthrough if Bloodborne before coming back and finally beating Manus and then Kalamut. But nevertheless, I did have fun.
Well he wasn't wrong took me 40~ hours to finish it now I just need a mod to let me access it earlier so I can use all those crazy new weapons in the base game.
This trailer felt like it took vibes from Dark Souls 3. Even the music sounded like something you'd hear from Dark Souls 3. The original trailer for Elden Ring didn't have such a theme.
I just wish they would include these cutscenes in the actual game. Like when talking to a character or something, they would tell the story to set you up, like the trailer.
The cinematics are great, but the whole point of FromSoftware's games is that they don't tell us the story, we need to discover ourselves. Maybe they can do that in a future title that is not "soulslike"
@Leo_Carrilo I'm talking about the trailer cinematic, which everyone has seen. I'm not asking for like 20 cutscenes or nothing, lol. I like the style of fromsoft games, but I don't think including 1 cinematic we all seen anyway is going to hurt anything. It's just really bad ass.
Unpopular opinion: but maybe we should just stick with ER as the definitive souls game. They can remake all the classic ones if you miss that version of the souls game, but they can just Xenoverse 2 this game forever. It never gets old, the world is continuously magical and each new expansion they can just expand the lore in game. Elden Ring: Forever. Yes do this Bamco 🙂↕️

apparently news came out and this is not ELDEN RING 2. this is just ELDEN RING COMPLETE. that's crazy.
2:50 totally speechless, don't blame him
Anyone who thinks this will be an under 15-20 hour experience there is over 30 songs in the ost more then all of ds3.. it’s going to be HUGE
Bloddborne no jutsu!!!! 😂😂😂
I made sure to get all the achievements. So when I go back, I can finally just enjoy the experience and not feel like I missed something. Stacked items and all before that new game + and currently on +3. Some people I knew were on +7 😮.
I’m so excited, I can’t wait to spend many hours playing the game while getting lost and looking up where to go in the DLC.
I think the reason they took this much time on the dlc is because they were developing AC6, normally they don't have another full release in between a base game and it's expansion.
Nah, seperate team
I think it will be huge like an extension more than a simple "dlc". I don`t think it could surprise us the same way as the original game did, but i think it will be fantastic.
You have no idea how much i waited for this reaction
Its going to be EPIC!
Good Reaction Video Max.
This Elden Ring DLC looks badass.
When it comes too Souls Games, i've gotta be in the mood too Play one, it could be several Years after Relaease before i get into them.
We are absolutely blessed to have fromsoftware in our lives
YES More content where i am the Targeted Audience. lets GOOOOOOOOO its been TOOOO long
This gave me ghoosebumps and tears so epic! Imagine at the very end it show malenia riding torrent 😅
I'm Ready and Waiting
Miquella giving serious Griffith vibes
Marika is giving the real Griffith vibes. She apparently betrayed and sacrificed something in order to become a god.
But also its true that we don't know Miquella's full intentions yet.
@@yuomovaeh3028 all I’m saying is everyone is glazing miquella and an item description in Elden ring said miquella has learned how to use his affection or something like that, AND he has a group, you could even say a BAND, of people following him. This is a souls game. I don’t think just hearing that a character is good makes him good.
@@greylaw2546 You make a point. Griffith did have those qualities as well.
I start my new job June 24 so I’ll make sure I put my two weeks in accordingly so I can have about a week to shut myself in and play this 😂
Fromsoft puts out possibly the best trailers in the industry, or at least Top 5.
THis shit's gonna be wild. Can't wait for Maxs' ER rerun💪
I love these dark souls games but i really wish they went all out on making them graphically better not to say they look bad but i do think having more next gen graphics with such fidelity would only make the mood and atmosphere more immersive and interesting
I hope the future games have such a thing!
Messmer might be a child of the Gloam Eyed queen, which may or may not be Malena😅
Just 10 more days to go 🎊🥰😍
Well he wasn't wrong took me 40~ hours to finish it now I just need a mod to let me access it earlier so I can use all those crazy new weapons in the base game.
@@nathanb5579 oh, sorry, I misunderstood. Yeah, it would be cool, the same way we have the opening cinematic for the main game
Aged well
Let´s hope, that Fromsoft don´t mess up the technical stuff like they did with the base game.
Playing through the PS5 version after maxing out Steam Achievements with max settings 60+ FPS is a little rough but I’m still enjoying it. Let’s go!
"The Legend of Elden Ring: Tears of the Erd Tree"
Dark Souls 2's DLCs for quite substantial for the time and they were only $10 each.
Just like other FromSoftware games like Armored Core 6, I've already pre-ordered Shadow of the Erdtree.
Whos was elden ring their first from Software game and they're excited about this
