I will be 65 years old next month. I am old enough to be the father (and perhaps the grandfather) of everyone in this video. But, having danced for many, many years, I understand and feel, when I dance, what they all feel when they do Parkour. I just started Parkour training yesterday. Why Parkour? Firstly, because the corona virus lockdown is driving me crazy, but secondly, because I connect with it internally, on a very deep level. When I was a child, I loved climbing trees. As a young man, I hiked and camped a lot, and loved rock scrambling and hopping rocks across streams. While a lot of Parkour escapes me because of experience and training, and will escape me because of age, the little I've done in the past 2 days has reignited a primal joy my heart has not felt in decades. I look forward to my journey. Thank you for taking the time to put this documentary together. It is very inspiring.
Thank you for sharing this. It makes me happy beyond measure to know that you've found such joy in parkour. I hope to have the pleasure of moving with you in the future.
11:42 How max henry said about how movement and thought correlates each other but "when you're committing you're not thinking", if you train enough, you know your capabilities, power, bails if needed, from that you trust yourself. If i wanna be honest with myself, i lack the balance between thoughts and actions, like sometimes i overthink a simple situation, i end up not being able to solve it or too scared to do it, but it only takes one action, just do it. This video have opened up my mind a little more, just wanna say thank you for sharing this with us!
I very much feel the same way. We are all always learning this balance; often the process isn't linear, we progress and regress over the years, but as long as we are open to learning and open to experience, I feel things will turn out for the best. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and for watching this video! Wishing you all the best my friend :)
This was stunning! I think that this is one of the best parkour documentaries I have seen. :D I like that the documentary focuses on the people and their feelings towards parkour, rather than just talking about the sport. :)
I sort of thought of quitting parkour but this video made me want to stick with it, I have so many new thoughts on parkour now thank you for opening my mind :)
Thank you. That was encouraging. I just got interested and started training parkour in October through Tapp Brothers Parkour Academy videos. I am astounded at the changes in my body and how much higher I can jump. I was working on kong jumps the last couple of weekends on a small wall and wasn't getting it right. Now I realize that I just need to break it down in steps and progressions and work my way up to it. I know I will get it and will have patience for it now.
That's wonderful Michael!! Our bodies are incredibly adaptable and resilient - strong mind and persistence will only make it stronger. Keep going and you will amaze yourself!

I came to see parkour, not hear you talk about trains for a minute and listen to an amazing beatles cover
2:00 onwards is just for you :)
Oh my the vulnerability expressed through the "characters" in this film is so profound. Parkour exists because love exists, isn't that right?
