    Hi. Is it possible to fold flat the front passenger seat? If so what is the distance from the tailgate to the dashboard. Also what is the interior length between the tailgate and the backrest of the drivers seat. Great video. Thank-you

    One thing on this that he said about the stop start when parking hit the thing with the stop start is that it engages when at a low enough speed and then engages when you let go of the brake in autos but the thing to remember is when he wants it to move it does and does it still creep yes my mum has a Citroen c4 grand Picasso which yes not same brand but owned by the same people and the tech and stuff is all together even the keys are exactly the same but that does the same thing but it does what you want it to when you want it to so plain and simple if it ain’t broke don’t fix it

    Regarding the tow bar, try to get Peugeot to swap the towbar neck for one that is compatible with Alko caravan stabiliser hitches. They are narrower just below the neck and will be standard on most car towbar. As the Base vehicle is a commercial vehicle, the towbar neck doesn't need to be compatible with Alko caravan hitches.

      Hi. I managed to grind off the plastic covering which solved the problem. Thanks!

      To add to this my Citroen Spacetourer was ordered with the factory fitted fixed towbar. A Thule bike rack fits perfectly onto the ball without having to remove any if the plastic coating. It was one of the first things I checked when it was delivered after the problems that Ben so helpfully reported.

    One thing really bothered my while testing the car. Didn't you get annoyed by the center console where the automatic dial is located? just read through your review its good that you pointed out signal loss when using maps on the phone. but i have trouble with the built in satnav in the mazda cx5 it cuts out loses satellite signal etc also used the portable satnavs garmin, tom-tom, etc and still had trouble with them. so use the phone maps also can't see myself driving up to Scotland anytime soon.

    I am big fan of your reviews and blog. Recently I bought the exactly same model. Would you please confirm do you still owe this model and do you have any problems like mine. I have adblue urea thank and injector faults on 20k miles. Sometimes the engine colant is difficult to reach working temperature even running more than 30min. The right sliding door is opening itself sometimes. The xenon projectors became foggy from inside. And all this after only 20k miles. I am just curious am I unlucky or just global problem for this model.

      Hello Hari. I’ve spent the last 10 years leasing cars so rarely see any reliability issue as the cars are new, the Peugeot (and the Citroen SpaceTourer I had after) were fine, both owned for 2 years each. Sorry to hear about the problems, I’d search for a Traveller Forum and ask there, hopefully these issues can be fixed cheaply, with the car being 6 years old most issues should be discussed and resolutions found. Good luck pal!

    Great videos, thanks. Just checked the blog too and have two questions:
    1. Did you say the maximum boot depth is 64cm, i.e. with the rear seats pushed as far forward as possible that's as much as you get? I guess they're limited in the rails then, especially if the seat belts are side mounted rather than seat mounted like the Caravelle. That's a negative for me if that's the case.
    2. Do the seats fold flat? Sometimes I want to move lots of stuff and no passengers. Also, if they do fold flat, do they do it in such a way that you could sleep on them? Again I'm thinking of the Caravelle.
    Thanks again for taking the time to do these videos and the blog.

    • @100benih
      @100benih  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The push forward quite far, can fold flat (but not into the floor), and can pivot up on the front legs to increase room.
      The business vip has more seats that are reversible with belts attached to the seat. See her for more specifics on the seats.. peugeottraveller.wordpress.com/owner-resources/

    Thank you very much for your videos and the blog, they are great!
    I was wondering about the actual weight of the seats. Especially the two that come out together. I'm guessing that if the one that comes out on its own is already very heavy, as you say in your blog, then the other two must be impossible to carry? Would your wife and you be able to carry them say a few metres into storage or would you need some kind of trolley to move them?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

      I think that will be possible, hard cart sounds like the perfect idea to transport them. I carried my single but probably should invest in a hand card should I need to take them all out.

    Nice reviews Ben! I do wonder, did you ditch the Alhambra just because the Traveller is a bit more spacious? Or were there any other big considerations? Disclaimer: we are a family of 4 (two soon-to-be-school-kids) and I am perfectly fine with my Kia Carens. Of course a bit more space in the boot would be nice from time to time, but so far we always managed and I never needed a roof box. Maybe one shall come once the kids grow older and we might go skiing with fill-size skis for 4...

    • @100benih
      @100benih  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just more room for the same money. Specs between this van and MPVs are the same so to gain an extra seat and boot space is a big benefit. All seats are full sized adult with plenty of legroom.

    • @JoeKundlak
      @JoeKundlak 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice. We shall see where the MPV/VAN segment moves in a few years and whether MPVs will make any resurgence or not...

      Hi Joe. Switching from KIA Carens '14 to Peugeot Traveller '17 in weeks from now. Having 3 kids all using the safety seat(which stays in the car 24/7) it is hard for me to use the third row Carens offers. Also there is a big issue with not having proper luggage room if 7 seats are in use. Made a test drive with Peugeot Traveller L3 '19 today and I truly am surprised in amount of space this car has. Probably will remove also 1 single seat from the middle row to ease the entrance to the 3rd row but as I saw how simple it is to move the 2nd row there is no essential need to do it.

    Hi Ben, thanks a lot for your answer regarding the rear door opening in this video;) We are decided to order the automatic opening for our car... Do you happen to know (or does anyone know) if there is a possibility to order the seats in the third row afterwards? We were told (by retailer) that it's not sure if there are the tracks at the back of the car to add there more seats if we order the five seats version... That it's a puzzle to solve because nobody was able to confirm it to the retailer:( Many thanks, Jana

    • @100benih
      @100benih  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess you don't need the extra seats right else you would have ordered them. I don't think it will be possible to get them aftermarket, I think the tracks might well be there but I can't be sure. If you want more seats, cancel your order and get the right car...nothing worse than regretting your decision for the next few years.

      Hi Ben, thank you very much for your feedback. We are going to order the car tomorrow morning. So we have to think it over till tomorrow:) The truth is that if we order the seats afterward it'll be definitely much more expensive.

    The Thule roof bars once installed dont seem quite as far apart as I thought they might be (looking at the photos on your excellent blog). Do you know roughly how far apart they are When in place ? I have a massive roof box and am slightly worried that I may need to downsize when my car is delivered.

    • @100benih
      @100benih  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pesmog they are 62cm apart. I thought the same thing ( too narrow) turned out fine.

      @Pesmog 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thx, very helpful. My roofbox is 7 feet long so I am going to have to look very carefullly how it will fit with the bars so close together. As I will have a towbar, I may investigate a towbar mounted rear transport box instead. Thx again.

    Thanks for the videos. Came across this when researching the Toyota Proace, which I gather is pretty much the same vehicle. Could you please let us know what the width across the rear seats is? I'm wondering whether or not it would be possible to use the Multimac 1320 with this vehicle - goo.gl/8m3ief - That way one could fit 9 people in a 2-3-4 configuration, which is handy for transporting a large group of different ages. I guess the vehicle is available as 9 seater, with three rows of three seats, but I can see that having a space between the front two seats can be really handy, especially with young children. Anyways, if you can let us know whether you reckon the multimac 1320 would fit, that would be great. Thanks!
