Yes, I did my good plant deed and believe I am going to be rewarded for it. I am so happy I didn’t just assume it was dead but was able to see beyond the dead layers to discover a wellspring of life. It is truly miraculous what these plants can endure but still have the passion and the fight to live. Thanks for visiting my channel and I am wishing you the absolute best! @@PictureMaria1 Couldn't agree more, plants have given me a hobby that doesn't break the bank, made me more connected with nature and helps me manage my mental health by keeping my occupied/relaxed❤. Each plant is like a little baby/child to me 😂. If I can help it, I will. I think I wanna get into some plant conservation work or just as a hobbyist to help preserve our natives. It's unbelievable how plants fight for their lives.
Few months ago I bought in supermarket an Alocasia 'Polly'. It had too much water and quickly died. I left it by the window and forgot. About 2 weeks ago I wanted to throw it away, to make some space for tradescantia. And a quiet little voice in my head told me: dig in it! I found a little corm of Alocasia I think. So then I put it in some moistened substrate and let's see what will happen 👍🏻

Me too! Being that we are now in Autumn and the temperatures will soon be getting colder, I do plan on bringing this indoors to see if I can get it to grow. I am keeping my fingers crossed and will keep you posted. Thanks for watching and HAPPY GROWING!

I do...just as much as they care for me. I’ve found that they give you just as much love as you give them. I consider them gifts that just keep giving...filling our lives with so much happiness and beauty. They are just so amazing!
Hi! I found some Alocasia at Target and driving home it got too cold now my leaves look wilted and hanging onto dear life lol..I hope it comes back! Found your channel when I typed in dead Alocasia hahaha great stuff here you're so fun!

haha your sis reminded me of myself , same thing plant it , and leave it there, water come only when rain but hey i got no info on this plant back then ,nobody was even growing alocasia at home

Lucky plant to have met MY!
Ha ha ha! He was so lucky in fact, his very life depended on it! Poor thing. I saw it leaned up against the house near the garbage can and couldn’t bare to leave it behind. I wasn’t sure what I would find but I had to at least give it a shot. I am so happy that I did...and I am sure he is too! Lesson reiterated here: Never judge a book by its cover and everybody deserves a fighting chance...if you don’t give up little fella...neither will I.

I never knew alocasia could get so big!!! I'm trying to revive my baby alocasia who's last leaf just died that has a pretty developed root system so this gave me hope!!! BTW, what kinda knife is that?!
