Thanks for the gems. I was struggling with the tonality of my 808s last night but I was using sampler original instead of optimized and using the tuner plug in to give me information while I adjusted the knobs on the sampler. Thanks man!
Everyone's doing these videos but never seem to mention what happens if you bring it into the quick sampler and the root key says c3 but when you pull up the tuner in metering and it says G# when you push the C key on your keyboard. In other words how do you tune the 808 if the tuner says something different from what the sampler says under Root Key..
I have all my 808s tuned to C then turn on the transposer to whatever the root note is of my melody, is this a correct way of getting 808 patterns that will be in tune
