So sorry for these folks, Any of us could become homeless, we just don't know what the future holds for us, especially in today's world. Praying for all these people. May the Lord have mercy on them,
I was born in and have lived in Florida most my life. I absolutely hate it now. The cost of living is out of sight. Its over crowded, too hot. My state has been destroyed.
when we were growing up we used to joke about quick-sand, I was scurrying the woods one time at kind of a fast pace a long time ago and I sank up to my waist in what looked like a flat walkable area, turns out it wasn't, it was thick goo soft marsh sand that fooled a person at first glance. I remember my jeans caked with mud top to bottom all the way home. Ruined my shoes too. I leaned back and pulled my way out.
Hey Jose, Bobby from NJ. I just wanted to say that you are doing a great job! I am kinda new to watching your videos. Have you ever visited homeless camps in other states? If not would you consider doing that? Thanks brother again for your videos.
I live in Port Charlotte my apartment was demolished from hurricane Ian !! I now am renting for two grand a month 😩 the struggle down here is real !! And Florida isn’t the place to be homeless as you can see by this video! The bugs alone will carry you away!
been thinking about the homeless here in North Fort Myers..the heat..the rain..the bugs. It's getting bad out here...they are trying to kick us born and raised here out and move in richer folk..shit aint right
There is a story that somewhere in the area where you just were that the area is cursed and bad things happen to people who stayed in that area. Mysterious deaths and other things. I don't know the whole story. I was told a lot of the homeless gathered there and slowly one by one people started disappearing some later turned up dead in weird places. Some went crazy. It was then abandoned. It is now considered forbidden to go there.
someone tell the homeless 80% of the new homes built are empty in the area,, then theres 100s of half built homes that will never be finished to squat in...
@@dublinlaguardia458 failed at sarcism pointing out the other issue of the area,, builders slapping down new houses no ones buying and littering nieghbors with half built homes..
@@dixensizzler that is a good thing because it’s going kill the market prices will drop homes become affordable again those half made home I go now buy them for pennies on the dollar like I did in Cape Coral and Lehigh in 2008 and in 2021 I became a millionaire off 19 homes I bought under $40k each in 2008 most half way made dropped $10-$30k more to finish them the cheapest one I sold in 2021 was for $386k highest was $1.2 million home we bought in burnt store marina in Cape Coral for $40k in 2008 it’s not an issue it’s a transfer of wealth
Next time you’re in the area check it behind the little chasers in north port. Used to be a big homeless population. Recently there was a big fire though, might have pushed them out
Go to Kissimmee At Fortune and Bill Beck Are some woods and many camps New ones , as there were none here when i got here in 2021 And check out the Malou bakery right there if hungry
Insist I could help them more. It is so said that after every storm they need all new bedding because they have no way to clean things up good enough to continue using what they have. My brother usually reaches out after every storm to come get bedding or whatever I can give him. I used to go pick him up and let him come do laundry and shower. Now I don't have a car so I cannot help. I have become disabled and couldn't keep up my car payments.
Still wondering if you’ll make it to methville Florida to cover this towns issues. 350 gallon red phosphorus tanks now leave the x fire chiefs being delivered on my road It’s insane living in Interlachen lake estates with Rahim Islam pappu and these c fire chiefs making meth on a industrial scale
Did you come across any snakes? Watch out for being in that mess and the mosquitos nipping you. They are in and around that water and no telling what you could come down with.
Most homeless in this area are above retirement age and disabled. They worked and paid into the system their whole lives. Now what the government gives them isn’t enough for housing or food. They choose to be homeless so they can eat. And they don’t starve in an empty apartment. Your not any better than anyone alot of people got their houses flooded they will be homeless soon since they didn’t have insurance and even if they did they wont do crap. Don’t forget your never exempt for being out here.
Maybe someone will tell you that if you ever get down on your luck . Not everyone is a lucky as you claim to be . Good luck that homelessness never happens to you . Many thought it would never happen to them either - just like you .
Be careful out there Jose and your friend . Get some rubber boots to protect your skin and some rubber gloves. Keep up the good work brother but try to protect yourself from sickness.
You can become homeless while already being homeless
Being we live in a camper you’ll probably call us homeless lol
Been my living quarters since I was 18
You need a gas mask buddy
Yuck

Been thinking about them and waiting patiently for your update. The mosquitos will soon be completely unbearable when they hatch from all that water.
I think what you are doing is very important and love watching you!
I feel so bad for these people. They have nowhere else to go .the towns should help

Drove thru many, did a walking video in tenderloin of san fran.. thought it was soft. Drove thru the war zone in Albuquerque and the skid rows of LA.
I am from NY
And do notknow how you do it
Toooooo hot and muggy till October
Your body adjusts to the humidity. You can still pass out or get heat exhaustion if you don’t hydrate enough.
