There is also a version published by Search Press, called "Complete Guide to Watercolour: All the essential techniques and skills that you need", which costs less and seems to have the same content. Borrowed a copy from the library and have been reading it for about 3 weeks now. It's extremely well written and easy to follow. I even tried to borrow it for longer but there's a long waiting list. So since I have to return it to the library in a few days, I decided to click on the Teoh's link and buy a copy for myself. Like he said, it will be nice to have as a reference.

You can just get any fountain and look for waterproof fountain pen inks such as Noodlers Bulletproof Black, Sailor KiwaGuro or De Atramentis Document.
