Hog Wild | $22 Budget EDH Deck | Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss

- Today’s deck tech is all about the mana dork mafia and their Don The Hogfather a.k.a Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss. This deck looks to take mana dorks and turn them into goodfellas able to punch up on bigger opponents. It also uses mana dorks that output more mana as their power grows making Raggadragga’s last ability an explosion of mana during our either big turns or game ending turns. Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss was suggested by commenter @poldosfamily2490 so I hope you enjoy. Combining X spells and growing mana dorks is one of the best ways this deck can quickly get out of hand. Not to mention that the mana dorks can still swing in and attack while keeping themselves up for mana after being declared as attackers. If your looking for something Gruul in the month of love I’d highly recommend it

I suggest Rapacious One since it's a fantastic target for +7/+7. Each of them is a 2/3 with Raggadragga so that's a lot of power in addition to a lot of Mana.
I was curious if the scions worked that way so this is great to know. I definitely would have considered it more had I known that, but live and learn 😂 thank you for letting me know that’s a great include.
@@TypicalGeminiMTGsure thing! Song of Freyalise is another handy inclusion because it enables your non dorks to be dorks. Gemstone Array is a janky mana bank.
Temur Sabertooth is a must include even at low budget. It allows you to go infinite with any 7cmc creature and a power = mana dork
Bighorner Rancher is another, cheap power = mana creature
Fanning the Flames is a couple of cents and gives infinite mana + a finisher in combination with one of the power = mana dorks
and the already mentioned Spine of Ish Sah which "boucnes" itself and gives infinite mana with a power = mana dork
Yeah Temur Sabertooth pulls a lot of weight for sure in a lot of decks. I’m pretty sure I included it in the upgrade section because it really is a super powerful card. I should’ve included spine because it’s a fantastic enabler but I think because the deck could really only include 1 power mana dork since the other ones are over $1
Ravenous Ventmaw is a personal favorite. Combine the 6 mana it makes on attack (also making them a 6/6) and aggravated assault you can very quickly cause infinite combat phases
I wanted to include the ventmaw but there was no budget version of Aggravated Assault though Hellkite Charger would be a nice replacement at the time I was building the deck I think it was to expensive. Thank you for the suggestion though and it would be a phenomenal way to upgrade the deck
@@TypicalGeminiMTG another one I like to add is Grand Warlord Radha. Probably not too budget friendly but with raggadragga she’s a 5/6 that makes a red or green for each other attacking creature and since you are likely to swing wide she can end up making a huge amount of mana and might just get you 7 by herself

If you want another combo outlet, there is Spine of Ish Sah. This artefact, Ragga and one of the power dorks will create storm, mana and buff the entire team should you choose to do it. Enjoyed the list immensely at the pricepoint :)
That is a great budget include, target and destroy itself right? If you had an artifact sac outlet you could literally blow up their entire board with it. That’s insane 😂 thank you for commenting

You could even go ahead and add an artifact package to go with a Welder route, but that's not exactly a top gameplan - just durdly ^^
Love Raggadragga. Bramble Familiar/Tuktuk/Power Mana Dork sounds awesome I'm going to try that. I tended to set up loops with Eternal Witness/Kogla or Temur Sabretooth/Power Mana Dork/ Tooth and Nail :P
Yeah those would be super solid options but on a budget this is one of the most effective 😁
I built Raggadragga in a few hours this past weekend and now I'm getting blessed by the algorithm. My deck has a Hydra bent to it though. I had a copy of Shivan Devastator and Benevolent Hydra collecting dust and I'd wanted to build Ragga for a while.
Heck yeah! I thought about leaning hydra but the deck started kinda falling together easier than I thought so I ended up with this version, though I could definitely see a powerful hydra version. 😁

Would you consider Elven Chorus a fit in this deck, considering it turns every creature into a mana dork? I've been using it with the new Tyvar and it kicks ass, seems like a good fit in this. Pretty good deck and great video! Might build it for some local tournaments ;D!
I definitely would plus the ability to cast creature spells from the top of your library is crazy. I would recommend it because it was surprisingly fun while I was testing it 😁
I would love a gitfrog monster combo deck on a budget. I realy love the monster but im not getting into the below the 100 dollar mark. I would realy appreciate your help
