When I saw your first two videos on this building, I could not believe what happened on your build. The way you addressed this was top notch and as I stated before, shows the type of person you are. I don’t know if I could have been able to weather it like you did, but I am so happy for you that you are getting the building you paid for and deserved. I know what you went through was hard, but this is a great example of good things happening to people that deserve it! May this be the first of many good things coming up in this new year! My building is up, foam is done, and I have sealed the floors. Next weekend I start teaching myself 2x4 framing, which I have never done.

Good to see you got a satisfying response in the end. It says something less pleasant about the construction company's quality control that another crew effectively condemned their colleagues work almost immediately when they got onsite.

My welding business stays busy fixing bad work. Some of the things I have seen is really shocking on how some folks stay in business.

Glad to see thing are getting back on track for you my Friend. When and if you use the old metal on the inside, look into using plastic srew hole caps, to plug the old unused holes, you can even find em in matching colors so you don't get water behind the walls. I'll do some more checking with my suppliers to see if I can find a source for ya. Here's to a GREAT New Year for us ALL!!

If you run a couple torpedo heaters off of propane, it should be plenty warm enough to spray foam inside if you’re impatient like I am
I also ran into a bad worker. I spent money for a person to add an addition to my shop. He took the money and ran. After taking him to court and seeing the judge tell him to pay me back, he disappeared again. That has been eleven years ago. No sign of him at all. Very costly error on my part. There are just bad people and you must look out for them.
Fill us in with all the particulars. Chances are we will run across him during our endeavors. They never stop their game.
@@steveedlund3218 I am not sure if you can name people here. I live in Louisiana and was naïve enough after a neighbors recommendation to give him all the money up front. After a few visits and me getting suspicious, I finally called the cops. Went to court and he was supposed to return the money. He had a very long rap sheet. Very stupid on my part though.
If you got a judgement I don't see why not but that on you. I've been burned before myself and it's a big hit not only in your wallet but your ego to. Good luck.

I watched your last video and ended up having to subscribe just because you did such a good job looking normal and optimistic. So happy to hear that everything is working out. I am considering pulling the trigger in Kentucky on a metal building, but extremely scared because of your experience. You need to blast the name of the good subcontractors to everyone so they can request this crew in that area. I still don’t know what group to utilize and I have been doing a lot of research. I think it all comes down to the quality of the subcontractor and nobody can tell you who that isuntil the day of. If anyone knows anyone in Kentucky, keep me posted. I’m about an hour south of Lexington.

Been looking at a car port frame to use as green house and boat house. I want to build a boat 40 feet by 24. I found it easier to push over trees rather than deal with stumps. I do foundation work for a living and post and beam/timber framing.

Great to see you Maybe getting the the building straightened out. The other thing I mat think about is the sides that have the ground level higher the your building floor. Unless there is a really good French drain around the perimeter or going to slope away from it you are going to have water issues coming in. Just a thought.

I a surprised the roof purlins appear to be laid flat. Vertical would seem to make the roof stouter.

New subscriber, fair play for seeing this through. Other people may, just May, not be screwed by this bad crew in the future. It must be such a headache to fight these after the fact, especially if you ‘sign something’. My mom was kind of coaxed to sign off on a big extension build recently before a final snag list with a difficult contractor. It was the ‘job is finished’ thing, so a tad shady, but nothing in comparison to the ineptitude of this build.
