OMG, I am jumping around your channel and watching many of your videos as a new subscriber. I am off to grab another cup of coffee and binge a few more. I must say, after watching this one and being a huge fan of olive oil cake and having never made one (not a big baker here... cook yes but always intimidated of baking)... I will definitely make this as an addition to my Thanksgiving dinner in a couple of week! My question to you is, since I will bake the cake the evening prior, should I wait and make the topping the day of, or is it okay to make it entirely and store it in a cool spot in a cake dome overnight? Lovely recipe! Gonna save n try it. It seems the lemon icing is drizzled on the bottom of the cake instead of the top side. I would prefer the top, no?
The top has cracks and a bulging shape, but I suppose you could for a rustic look 👍
