- This week I'm sharing a piece from a series I filmed last year, when we had only been married a month! I hope you enjoy this Italian summer vignette, picking homegrown fruit and baking for an indulgent Sunday afternoon dessert.

Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

Hi. I have made the apricot and olive oil cake. And cooked it for 40 mins. It is cooked. I have cut into it tho and it seems to be a little bit of the batter mix still there. Have I done something wrong here

Oh Kylie!!! I just have to share- I've been watching your channel for years now. When I first found your videos I was bedridden with a horrible illness and they were such a beautiful form of escape. They showed me how beautiful life could be and reminded me of the power of hope and the endless possibilities that can lie before us if we dare to dream, even in times when everything seems so dark and we fear there is no way out. Today as I watched your video I had the most surreal moment. When I found you all those years ago I was bedridden in Ireland and now I too am starting a new romantic life in the South of France, in a beautiful old village house with the love of my life. Everything is so different now but I do not think I could even have imagined this life for myself if you were not here guiding me through it all. Thank you so so much for what you do, I really believe you are changing the world. You have certainly changed mine 🌿

The colors, the light, your soft voice and Guido - perfection.
I am from Ukraine and apricots are my favorite fruits. I literally grew up on apricot tree. One time I visited Ukraine with my then little children, we was walking on the streets filled with apricot trees full of fruits hanging right to the ground, we could not stop eating it.
Here in Canada you rarely see apricots. Thank you for this video that brought warm, nostalgic memories.
You have to go to market to find apricots in Canada ;) specially in Québec. It's possible to find them. But more recently, we can find crates of figs and sometimes apricots in supermarket like IGA. I will try this receipe with apricots canned and drained. I am pretty sure it's going to work. Of course, it's always better when its fresh! ;)

Gorgeous video. Scrumptious cake. Guido is indeed a very lucky man. Loved the pops of colour , from the beautiful blue glass vase contrasting so beautifully with the plump white flowers, the luscious peaches , and finally the unforgettable view from the kitchen window, the corn colored fields stretching all the way to the distant blue hills.

My niece called a couple of days ago, to let me know that my nephew (14 Yrs old), made homemade waffles with the waffle machine I had just bought her for her birthday. I told her I am so excited that he does feel comfortable in the kitchen and can cook good food. I told her I never want him to marry somebody “just because” they cook good food! GUIDO is Lucky in Love AND Food! 🥰
With so many apricots it is good to make apricot jam, which is also useful for coating cakes that are going to be iced, such as Christmas cake, and it helps the marzipan to stick to the cake.
I've made olive oil cake several times in the last two months, mostly with lemon flavor and once with orange flavor. I definitely want to try this one. It looks delicious.

Apricots and figs are my favorite fruits as I grew up on an apricot ranch. My grandparents were from Sicily. Someday I will return to Italy. ❤️

Oh my God, I have a little cup with the exact same design as your bowl that had the sugar in it! I bought my cup in Siena, since I've been doing my year abroad there this year 😊 I've left a couple of weeks ago, but I feel like I can still keep up to date to what's going on in Tuscany through your videos. It brings up a lot of memories!

I spent 5 years in Puglia and once summer started every evening the streets would fill with families and young people, either walking or having a drink at a roadside cafe. My neighbors would be up past 1am playing cards and drinking home made vino, those were such great times, I wish we could adopt that spirit here in the US. ✌🏻

My husband and I were invited 10 years ago for one summer to live in San Giminiano we were in a little town Santa Lucia, and we traveled all over Italy except in Cicilia. We love to visit that part of the country were Comisario Montalbano was filmed we love that program so much and of course we adore Italy wonderful country, great people and the best food.

This is similar to how I make peach cobbler. I just use butter instead of olive oil. You have inspired me to try it with olive oil. Which I already love love love.
