They made and released a free, online, digital point calculator. It's called army-forge. You can custom make an army and share it privately or publicly! It's a game changer and it's awesome.❤
I just came across your channel. Funny thing, I just finished 2 games on my channel. 1 with aliens and 1 with predators. I didn't think about terminators but they definitely fit.. I will have to crunch some numbers and resin on these ideas.
@@LittleGiantCrafts i really like warhammer 40k but I'm getting tired the constantly changing and over complicated rules. It's becoming pay a pay too win game. So I'm learning about OPR, and i like what I'm seeing.
Not only is Grimdark Future model-agnostic, it's also 100% compatible with Age of Fantasy. A handful of armies you suggested are actually playable if you're willing to make some concessions. For example, Resident Evil models could fill in for Infected Colonies. You could have a Kroot/Tyranid/Necron soup for Alien/Predator/Terminator. For Cthulhu, there's the Shadow Stalkers from Age of Fantasy, which are based on Nightstalkers from Mantic Games, which are themselves Cthulhu-inspired.
The Powder Mage books by Brian McClellan. These books were made to be converted to tabletop wargaming. For the setting think Napoleonic wars with magic. The story shows clear differences in the styles of armies in the books, it could make for a fantastic setting.
Dude, great video, nice work. Just to chime in, Stargate would be cool as well. It’s begging to have a game made, with all those alien factions. Also, the 2000ad universe, where judge dredd belongs would be cool as well. Or something like Stalker, with fewer minis, more character driven. Man, all this talk is giving me ideas!
I totally feel you for Lovecraft. I have collected a few mythos minis from the Cthulhu Wars boardgame, and Inise it for the mini agnostic fantasy rank and file game Kings of War. They have a whole faction called Nightstalkers that are clearly based on the idea of Lovecraftian monsters… but I use them with the forces of nature army: Ithaqua is my greater air elemental, cthulhu is my flying beast of (unhinged) nature, deep ones are naiads, shoggoths are water elementals… it’s a ton of fun and I really like the friendly spirit of kings of war players
I'd love to play a Cosmere themed army. I'm a huge fan of Brandon Sanderson's work, and I think it would be awesome to have a Koloss, Lifeless, or Windrunner army (or an army that mixed the 3).
I've been considering a fallout list using the 3d printable app tank official files and the free power armor files available online. Add in some slightly kitbashed ww2 infantry and your golden.
Don't worry about Doctor Who. Give it a few months, in the community folder you might start to see a Dalek Empire to start there ;) I know someone's trying to build from the spaceship game into a mech game so, Gandams and transformers could he see able in the future :)
Ooh, yes! I almost did some honorable mentions, and Halo definitely would've made the list. I was huge into the lore for quite some time. Never played most of the games, though. 😅
So long as both versions of the unit have the same(ish) point cost and there is some kind of cost to transforming (most realistically a morale test to de facto test if you transform fast enough to still do something else during your turn, or you could handle it like transport and limit the movement distance to 6" in the turn you transform) it should work really well. You could even make combining transformers if you treat them as a unit of models (or more pecisely heroes joining each other like a unit, and having a third profile they transform into (and for which the entire unit pays the transformation cost / takes the transformation risk) when joining a unit (might be best handled by hero mechanics like the Goblins').

Yes! They continue to be the best 🥳

Haha hell yeah!
I saw the word onepagerules in the title, I am one second in the video and see vallejo colours, it is about time to like the video!
😎👉👉
Ok this gave me the idea for a mass effect or a gears of war army
Oooh, yes, both would be great!

Yes, great points! I definitely plan on doing that eventually, when I get the appropriate models 😁
Soul-Snatcher Cults for the cultists!
I'm working on creating a version of the jedi order rn. pretty fun :)
Nice!

Ooh, awesome, never heard of the series. I'll definitely have to check them out!
This!
Hey dude, really like your stuff! Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Painting up some Aliens Board Game minis from GaleForce9 for exactly this purpose. Happy to see more of this type of content!
Oooh, excellent! I have the alien queen, can't wait to get more of them

Thank you! Those are all good suggestions. Let the creative juices flow! 😃
A skirmish game based in stalker like firefight would be brilliant.

Oooh, yes, Cthulhu Wars has fantastic miniatures! And what a cool idea, using them for the forces of nature! Tabletop players are so creative =)
I was thinking of using my BattleTech minis, but not as giant mechs. I also have some undead pirate figures from a game called Rum & Bones.
Awesome!
The battle at the end of Endgame is one of my favorite scenes and I'd love to play that on the tabletop.
Yessss, agreed!

Yes, more Grimdark Future!
I think for 7. Lovecraft, you can play Malifaux, and play Neverborn, it's almost what you described
For 4. Gundam You can play MechWarrior
Yes, Malifaux has some great-looking miniatures!

Hell yeah! 🔥
The Godzilla - verse JSDF. Probably would be a Defense Force army with different vehicles. Nevertheless, Maser Tanks FTW!
Some cool ideas mate.
I was planning on a idea for Resident Evil myself 😉. There are Some good alternatives in there already. Great video 👍.
Great minds think alike! 😁Thank you!
@@LittleGiantCrafts 😉👍.
Fish-i-fied! I like it ✌🏻
Thank you my friend! 😁🐟

Fallout already has a ruleset for playing solo or cooperative
Destiny, Halo, Red Dead Redemption 2. Those could be fun to do.
Ooh, yes! I almost did some honorable mentions, and Halo definitely would've made the list. I was huge into the lore for quite some time. Never played most of the games, though. 😅
Brotherhood of Nod from the C&C franchise
Hell yeah!
would be cool to do star trek
I never got into Trek (always meant to), but yeah, definitely!
For me, it's gotta be Transformers...

That's not i seached for...
X-Com.
