A FRENCH ICONE, A REAL LEGEND .
Rip Charles.
Connu dans le monde.
Aznavour 🥰 merci Dereck 👌🏽
"je n'ai rien oublier"
"Je m'voyais déjà "
Aznavour, indétrônable 🇦🇲🇫🇷
From now on
We won't be seen together anymore
From now on
My heart will live under the rubble
Of this world that resembles us
And that time has devastated
From now on
My voice will no longer say I love you
From now on
Me who wanted to be your shadow
I will be the shadow of myself
My hand from your separated hand
never again
We won't bite the same fruit
We won't sleep in the same bed
Let's not repeat the same gestures
never again
We won't know the same fear
To see our happiness slip away
And the rest
From now on
From now on
People will see us without each other
From now on
We will change our ways
And these words that I thought were ours
You will say them in other arms
From now on
I will keep my door closed
From now on
Locked in my loneliness
I will wander among the things
Who will always talk about you
never again
We won't bite the same fruit
We won't sleep in the same bed
Let's not repeat the same gestures
never again
We won't know the same fear
To see our happiness slip away
And the rest
From now on
We won't be seen together anymore
We won't be seen together anymore
We won't be seen together anymore
One of the French songs I sing out loud in my car, love it!
Good choice👍☺
It's fun to blast Aznavour or Brel, sing out loud and see the confused looks of bystanders.
@@ponfed Especially when you live in the US 😂Imagine when I play Amsterdam in the car!
@@roskar Coolest cat in the area..
SHARNOURH ARNAVOURIANH 1924-2018
Armanian origins, born in France become Charles Aznavour. A classic singer with classic songs, the French Sinatra. An international and intemporal star. Forever performer and eternal showman. So many hits during the 50,60 & 70ties.
Also actor and song-music writer.
La classe, chapeau l'artiste..
🇨🇵🎶❤️🎼📻👍
A great actor, too, indeed… I like him very much in “Un taxi pour Tobrouk”.
Yesss ! So good ! Thanks Dereck (and you who asked for it !!) From now on is one of the most powerful songs of Aznavour, sung tragedy.
I grew up with the music of Charles Aznavour, it was played in our house and for a long time I considered Charles Aznavour a kind of family member, he was so present. "Desormais" is one of the most stirring songs in the French language and brings back fond memories of my childhood.
"Désormais" translates to something like "from now on", but with a sad taint. This mean the man (singer) regrets the time they were both in love and lived together. This is all about sad feelings one can get after a separation.
You can never be wrong with Charles Aznavour… Ma favourite song “La Mamma”.
Brel, Brassens, Ferrat, Aznavour, Becaud, The greats of French song. Each song of aznavour tells a story.
du grand Aznavour...
Excellent comme toujours !!!
Charles le Grand is on Internet , forever ! Thank you Patreon.
you should listen Serge Reggiani it was an incredible singer
THE KING.
This singer knew how to touch our hearts.
Aznavour is great and there is a lot to tell about him. For example how he didn't make a living for a very long time.
But what astonishes me the most is how this song is so remarkably 1967, in its sound and spirit. For sure, those were the Beatles' years, well... not only theirs but they got them coming.
That's his best song. Very deep.
Is was a genius, the lyrics were just so great and his presence was very strong as well, I ve seen him in a festival in Quebec City where we were over 50000 people seated outside under a perfect sky and the moon, this was one of the best show I have seen, he was 70 at the time
Not only a singer but a complete artist.
You could watch beautiful films with him.
Go on exploring anything he wrote and sang, there are some gold nuggets there! ❤
Magnifique chanson

Merci infiniment cher Dereck. I love this song. Another sad theme a little similar is mentionned in a 1963 awesome track entitled "Et pourtant". He did an outstanding spanish rendition called "Y por tanto".
Not exactly the same way. In the song "Et pourtant" there is some hope, it is the opposite in "Désormais".
Bonjour,
Grand artiste.
Chanson puissance.
Merci
yes yes yes thanks !
RIP M. Charles. Perfection. We miss you! Loved your reaction, Dereck!
It is one of his many master pieces. Good choice Dereck. May I suggest "Paris au mois d'aout" ?
I think it's my favourite song from him
Charles,the best....
next song from the great Aznavour : les plaisirs démodés.
you will love it (alternatively punchy and then slow) 👍🏻
Yesssssssssssssss........
Hi Dereck its a great song of him, an another songs was beautiful: "les plaisirs démodés", "mourir d'aimer", "la mama", its so great too.
Love Him!! thanks for sharing this
try " les plaisirs démodés "
Oui, j'y pensais aussi!
C'est déjà fait
@@danielblaze4112 🤔 ...quand ?
@@danielblaze4112 Non, j'ai même vérifié pour être sûr.
Superb......
Great song!!
I LOVE THIS SONG !!!
Great reaction ! Thanks
DUDE! 😯
A little gossip. Charles Aznavour was the cousin of Mike Connors (famous actor in 60's 70's for US television series Mannix).
@@arkasonus7678 tellement :)
Aznavour it's GREAT
You really should listen "Parceque tu crois". A song used by Dr Dre himself. ;)
quel artiste Aznavour 🥰
My thoughts for Peace in Armenia ❣🕊🍀
❤❤
👍💪👊💙
Actually, “desormais “ means: from now on.
@@ioiniipiailiaitinii559
Ah d'accord... En cherchant bien on aura les autres mois !
Jean-Jacques Goldman - C'est ta Chance 😉
Hello Derek

"Parce que tu crois" was sampled by Dr Dre
Please Dereck look "les plaisirs démodés"
Check out for "les 2 guitares" amazing song..
