If you add the mod vikingtek- compact reactor and grav drives by AmericanVikingr which are quite small but have the same amount of power as the original ones, you can remove the original larger ones and replace them with habs or other things to realy make it a fast beast of a ship.
Thanks for the suggestion, @CommanderStarfireWolf. As for myself, while I'm not beyond using a glitch or two on a ship to make things fit, I am, for the time being, running completely mod free on all my characters.
