    Hanging your TV can be a daunting task and figuring out what to do with the cables can be a nightmare. So while I am hanging mine I figured I'd show you how I do it and how easy it can be.

    Great video...
    - straight to the point
    - useful content
    - digestible conversational style
    - not trying to sell or advertise anything, just a guy showing you how he mounted his TV
    Thank you.

    Awesome video. I have a question, where should I drill my whole if I have my main tv wire coming from the left and my HDMI cords coming from the right. Should I drill in the center and meet the cords in the middle, or should I choose a side and feed the cord to that hole ? Also I have a swivel mount on my tv that can tilt as well, what advice do you have on having some slack to give so I am able to pull out and maneuver my tv a little. Also I am planning on purchasing the same tv kit that’s in the video but if there is something that works better that you know of and will make for a easier install feel free to point me in the right direction! Thanks for your time.

    For all the those saying it violates electrical code are wrong. The in wall kit is designed for low voltage cables. The power cord for tv is connected to the kit on the outside

    • @butter101stew7
      @butter101stew7 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes your right but you can run the power cable for the tv in the wall and it will be up to code. Those saying it violates electrical code needs to read the code it was changed in 2014 here it is

    How is this install holding up? I have a similar dilemma, I have a single stud down the middle behind the wall, and the 2 to the sides are 24" away from center. Thinking to lag bolt to the middle stud and use anchors or toggle bolts to the sides to dry wall. Aesthetically I think this will look better, but I'm nervous about strength and might go for the plywood board method. TV is a 75" @ ~ 90 lbs.

    great video, would have been cool if you linked more of a tutorial on connecting a receiver, speakers and a simple How-To line them up with your TV for a mini surround sound affect. Additionally, you could have linked up direct links to a speaker sale, receiver sale, TV antennae sale, wiring sale, etc . . . . that credits a personal account for the business you brought to the supplier (OR Etsy, the products yourself :). Next time, show more and create yourself a little side money with your great tutorials/videos. You do have potential to go further financially with that, as you have an ability to keep viewers focused and eye catching clarity in describing your videos. Great job at simplifying a small space.
