In these words, often misinterpreted and misapplied, Jesus is talking to the Twelve within the context of a sinful believer who is being removed from the community of Christians. These men will become the apostles of Jesus, given enormous power to represent Him on earth after He departs for heaven and the church is born. One power He will give to them is accurately presenting godly truth (John 14:25-26).
Jesus does not give these men authority over heaven by saying that whatever they bind or loose on earth will be bound or loosed in heaven. Rather, when they describe a person as bound by sin or freed from sin, they are speaking truth. If they describe someone as included in the church or removed from it-according to these teachings of Jesus-that statement holds true. It is an enormous responsibility.
Likewise, Jesus' comments on prayer must be carefully understood. This promise follows the statement on binding and loosing, which itself is a continuation of remarks about church discipline. In this case, that seems to limit application to the disciples' prayer of removing a believer from the community for a refusal to repent. Again, this would be a very solemn and heavy responsibility.
It is drastically against the context of this passage to assume this is a promise from God that any two or three Christians who come together to ask for anything from God will receive what they ask for.

When I was told that Sagittarius B smelled like raspberries and rum I didn't just take it at face value. In fact I remember people either saying, "Wow. That's so cool." or, "Impossible, scientists can't know that." I made the effort to research the radio telescopes they used, how they determined the chemical composition of the nebulae in that area, and how the conditions could be recreated here on earth in a simulated vacuum environment and, lo and behold, rum and raspberries is the smell that you'd get if you could give those massive clouds a sniff.
Amazing, right. I choose to question scientists as I choose to question scripture. At the end of the day, I'm not religious because one of those two categories is not supported by evidence. If you're a believer in Jesus Christ like I was years ago, please legitimately read the bible. It's what saved me from the lies we're taught.
The bible had plenty of good advice, like preserving the environment, helping those less fortunate, and so on, but the bad stuff; rules for keeping slaves, women require to submit to their husband's will, all the times god killed countless people, etc... It was a good book for a primitive society, but we don't need it anymore. To hang onto those feelings solely to feel better about the fact that we die just ruins the way we live. My advice is to be honest with yourself and live with as much purpose as you can. A purpose that YOU create. That's what it is to be human.
That's what it is to be alive.

Rules on slavery were put in place because those who were slaves could be treated as harshly as possible. Giving rules of how to treat them, was way of modifying the hearsher treatment they might receive. Also slaves in the Jewish context were not only kidnapped Individuals. Many placed themselves into slavery, similar to being indentured. This was often a result of them being in hardship after losing everything. Slavery would save them from destitution.
Women were told to be subject to their husbands but men were told that they should dive up their lives (and die if nessacery) for their wives. Also it was a more primitive society were none of the social safeguards were in place. Women ,in general, being physically weaker particularly when children came into the picture. it was expedient for a woman to be under the protection of a man.
God , being the creator of all surly has the right to terminate a life.though death is not the end. It is nearly the door to a superior existence. At least for the just.
If your suggestion of doing just what you see is right, your in danger of reverting to a pre-bible world. A world were might is right and the most powerful decide the rules. Such rules that would favour the strong against the weak and vulnerable. This would be moderated by the superstition s of the ones I charge.

Francis Russell idk if English is your first language but that was some rough grammar. If it isn’t your first language then it’s fine but if it is, please check your comments for errors before posting them.
Well I didn’t mean for him to literally force the end of slavery but I understand how you may have gotten that impression. What I meant was that he could make it into law that slavery was a sin and it would stop most slavery at least in the Middle East. However god is not one to care about free will very much considering not only is it unlikely that anyone has free will in the common use of the term but also because he has the tendency to harden and soften people’s hearts throughout the Bible. That is a clear violation of almost all views of free will. Also why would a world in which everyone did good be bad anyways? Sure my life might not be as free, but why would I want to be free to do bad? If I had the choice to not do anything bad for the rest of my life I would choose that immediately.

I have three arguments to refute this video:
-Even if Jesus appeared to people and revealed Himself to people, there would still be people who would reject Him and refuse to believe in Him. For example, the Pharisees still hated Jesus and refused to believe in Him when they literally saw Him casting out demons and healing people using their own eyes. Judas still betrayed Jesus even though he was Jesus' disciple who walked with Him, traveled with Him, ate with Him and saw Him doing miracles.
-In Luke 4:12, Jesus said, "You shall not put the Lord your God to the test". The idea that you are proposing in this video is very obviously an attempt to test Jesus.
-In John 20:28, Jesus said "Blessed are those who did not see but believed". Yes, there are certain situations where God directly revealed Himself to certain people, like the 500 people mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15. But this is not for everyone. It is better to believe in what you have never seen before.

But seriously, when you ask Jesus to appear 'physically' right now in the present you demonstrate that you are not really interested in what Jesus has to offer: salvation from the consequences of the self righteous stance you have adopted. A better would request would be: Lord I don't believe, help me in my unbelief to understand.

      Tell that to the disciples.
John 20:24 Now Thomas (also known as Didymus[a]), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. @@Xavier_Coogat_the_Mambo_King What was Thomas' response on seeing Jesus: "My Lord and my God" Would you cry out such a response to Jesus? I think not. And that is simply because you don't know him personally as Thomas did. You only know about Him and want to lay claim to promises given to his closest friends without qualification? You convince yourself that you are so important that He has to turn up and convince you by jumping through the hoops you set for Him. In that frame of mind the more hoops he jumped the more you go would be convinced he isn't God because a lowly creature (you) would have manipulated this so called Creator (God). Funny how, sometimes, you hold onto the the beliefs you were taught from childhood. You might even pass them down to your children. Then...at some point in time...you begin to feel a shift. Your mind wonders about stuff that makes no sense. Heartache and loss come and go...yet praying doesn’t really help. You find yourself taking a turn off the path you’ve been following. You begin to see and realize that there are consequences to your choices and your actions...or your inactions. There’s no imaginary Angel or any imaginary loved ones hanging around. If your imaginary loved ones were hanging around, they’d help stop the pain and sorrow. You’re not sure yet...but, inside your mind an awakening is occurring. You lose your child (37 yrs old..heart disease, same as your father when he was only 42 yrs old). The second trauma shocks you and you are alone...crying, sobbing, on your knees...and you feel as if you can’t breathe. It happened when you were 17 yrs old...and it’s happened again. 🥺. You call a crisis hotline. You scream a lot. You sob uncontrollably. You want answers....but no one has the answers for which you search. You sleep. Next day, you awake...like a robot...sore..crying, realizing you’re awake .....and you know your child is gone. The ache in your heart and gut is real. The phone rings. It’s the crisis center checking up on you. It’s actually a Buddhist temple and a monk is speaking...asking how you’re feeling. You don’t understand at first, then you do. The crisis center is affiliated with the Buddhist temple. The monk talks with you, but mostly he listens. He’s quiet...... and you seem to feel as if he understands what you’re feeling. His voice is calm, soft, and he allows you to just cry. When he speaks..he is wise. Death is part of life. Loss is part of life. We’re all impermanent visitors here. The monk calls twice a week for several weeks. Talking with him gives you a sense of peace. You begin to see...to understand...but still, the heartache is there.
Time passes. Years pass. You don’t give up because you have another child and you have 5 grandchildren. They need you. You need them. You stop dwelling on the sadness and begin to be thankful for having your child for 37 years. How wonderful. The joy, the laughter, the good moments, the bad moments...they were all worth it. You replace sorrow with gratitude as more time passes. There is love, there are memories...you cherish that. You are so very grateful for all the loved ones who shared your life with you.
There’s a lot more...I’ve read books, I’ve watched videos...documentaries. I’m not the same...but we are all constantly changing. I’m at peace with what I believe. Yes...God is imaginary. What truly matters in life...is how kind you are and how much you love and help others.
The rest...it’s all imaginary. I wanted to share my experience...rambling...sorry, but I really did try to make it short.🥰

according to Antiquity Unveiled: Voices from the Spirit Realms by Johnathan M. Roberts. Jonathan M. Roberts did not believe in the Jesus character but instead believe in the Christ Myth.
According to him, Their wasn’t no person actually named Jesus, the name Jesus was a title similar to Miriam, the Jesus character was based on 3 individual and they mixed their stories together and they also mixed the Christ myth story in also. According to Apollonius of Tyana, his teaching was based on the Myths of Krishna and the Orphic tradition of Neo-Pythagorean’s. He didn’t believe in Yahweh, instead he believed in the concept of the Monad and Nous. He was part of the ancient sect of the Therapeutae of Asclepius and he himself was a Asclepeion like Aelius Aristides & Galen , and Apollonius of Tyana was affiliated with the Therapeutae Essenes of Egypt , now movies like the 2009 movie Gifted Hands and 2004 movie Something The Lord Made , start to make more sense now. In his time Christianity didn’t exist. It came much later on. In his time you just had different sects mixed with different Philosophies. He himself was not a Christian but rather he was what you call a Neo-Pythagorean. He says Christianity became created when those Warriors Jews of Qumran got Connected with the Romans Empire and the Birth of the Catholic Church became born. He says this Religion is basically Politics and used for to control people minds by using Roman tactics and Fear to keep humanity in a time loop.
He says that’s some Parts of the Jesus character was based on him and some parts of Apostle Paul was based on him also. He also says the other parts of the Jesus character was based on Jesus Malathiel a.k.a King Izates of Edessa or King 🤴🏿 Manu of Edessa. He says other parts of the Apostle Paul was actually about Josephus Flavius. He says he grew in the sect of the Therapeutae of Asclepius, so he had connections with The Therapeutae Essenes. The closest we have to them are the Mandaean of Iraq or the Marsh People. These people are not Jews.
He also says he was travel so he taught with the Jews who was affiliated with Gamelile and the school 🏫 of Hillel the Elder, because they had similar Philosophies. But their was another sect of Jews that was aggressive and Militant, these Jews was more Zealous and be similar to today’s ideas of a Zionist. Their Leader was Jesus of Gamala, aka King Manu of Edessa. He also says every Religion is built on from older Religion, hence his teaching was built on The Krishna, the Pythagorean’s , and Egyptians Mythology.
He also says the Christians distorted History to hide the crime they Committed. For example they created a fake Saint Catherine of Alexandria, this person was based the Historical Neoplatonist Hypatia .
If you read the Great Treatise of Seth, you would hear Simon Magus critique the Hyksos King Bloodlines. In the Gnostics text the Fake god is known as Yaldabaoth but in Buddhism ☸️, Sid Gautama calls the Fake creator god MahaBrahma , it’s the same concept basically, it just express in a different way. Apollonius says in the Bible he was known as Apollo’s and Jesus Bar Elymas, key word is Elymas stems from Elam. in the Gnostics text he was the Gnostics Apostle Paul and he was known as Meanander of Cappareteia, his influencers became Bashilides, Valentinus, and Marcion and later Neoplatonist Philosopher Iamblichus. In John 8: 48, they asked Jesus is he possessed by a demon and is he Samaritan, Jesus denies being possessed by a demon but he does not deny being Samaritan. That’s huge because according to my research 🧐, Apollonius of Tyana is the son of Glaphyra and Herod Archealus who is half Samaritan, his mother was the Samaritan woman 👩 named Malthace, so this would of meant that Apollonius of Tyana grandmother 👵 was Samaritan, his grandmother was Malthace the Samaritan woman. So this why Apollonius didn’t deny being Samaritan, Now Apollonius mother Glaphyra was Cappadocia and of Armenian,Persian descent. Apollonius trave to Taxila India With Apostle Thomas, the stories Jesus traveling to India come from Apollonius travels to India. He says the guy Known in the Bible as Jesus Bar Abbas was actually King Izates of Edessa aka Jesus Malathiel.
The Ossaraen was a group of Zealot Jewish Warriors of Qumran, their leader was Jesus Malathiel in antiquity Unveiled Ancient Voices From the spirit Realm is Jesus of Gamala before it was his farther Judas of Galilee and his brother Menahem Ben Judah. Jesus of Gamala is king Izates II. more information on King Jesus can be found in the Mara bar Serapion Document, in the Messiah Cesar The Flavian Dynasty along with Josephus Flavius, Titus Flavius and Flavius Constantine created the Bible, more information can be found in Antiquity Unveiled: Ancient Voices from the Spirit Realms by Jonathan M. Roberts, and another member was Jesus Ben Ananias, in the gnostic text Great treatise of Seth he is known as Simon of Cyrene. In the great treatise of Seth is where Simon Magus critique Judaism as the same way Sid Gautama critique old Hinduism 🕉. In Ralph Ellis book King Jesus on Pg. 122-130 , Ralph Drops strait gems about Simon Magus and his Devastating attacks on Christianity . Remember in the Old Testament God, doesn’t like Paganism and Bible makes Simon Magus the Villain. The earliest images of Jesus in Egypt and Israel , you would see a very tanned man with dark Curly Afro. This is Simon Magus.
APOLLONIUS was part of the Therapeutae Essenes which later became Gnosticism and Apollonius who is also Gnostic Menander open a school 🏫 in Antioch aka the Orontes River Essenes = Neo-Pythagorean.
On page 58-79 of Not In His Image by John Lamb Lash , the chapter is called the cult of righteousness, it breaks down how this religion keeps mentally in a time loop. On pg. 272 of John Lamb Lash book Not in In His Image, it explains how the apocalypse of James explain how the Archonic Zaddikim invades Jerusalem. In page 270 it explains how the Zaddikim wanted to eradicate the Gnostics. Bardaisan Edessa which influenced Manichaeans, Thaddeus Addai , Philo of Alexandria played a role in early Essenes ,Al-Battani and
Emanuel Swedenborg were similar to Philo. Apollonius influenced Iamblichus. Philo views on god was Allegorical and he look at man as a Trichotomous being. Apollonius was a believer in the Monad( monism ) or Nous while Simon believe in Gnosis.
Their were two types of Essenes, one was the Therapeutae Essenes of Egypt and Mandaeans of Iraq and The Other was The Militant Zealots Essenes of the Qumran who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls. Their leader was King Manu ( King Izates) of Edessa. In the Bible he is known as Jesus Bar Abbas and Jesus Justus. He is also known as Jesus of Gamala and Jesus Malathiel. his brother Monobaz II (A.KA Menahem Ben Judah) was known in the Bible as Chuza who was wife of Joanna. Joanna historical name was Johanna grand daughter of Theophilus and daughter of Johnathan. In the Bible their were two johns one was male and one was female. That’s some pictures of Saint John was female and some was male. Josephus calls Glaphyra a virgin, this could try to indicate her Armenian and Persian Heritage. Apollonius in the book Antiquity Unveiled says he spoke a Samaritan tongue 👅 and Josephus Flavius was jealous of him. He and Josephus was a part of a group known as the Sons of Suns. Unlike him Josephus Flavius was connected with the other Jews and Josephus Flavius wanted POWER 💥 so he was also connected with the Roman Empire, when those other Jews aligned with the Roman Empire, then you got the Catholic Church ⛪️. Josephus captured women. Apollonius respected women because he was a Neo-Pythagorean.
The Hebrews, Romans dynamic was all about blood lines, in Ralph Ellis book The Tempest & Exodus, he talks about The Hyksos infiltration into Egyptians Culture. The character Jacob in the Bible is really A Hyksos Egyptian Pharaoh Named Yaqub- Har. He ruled Egypt in the 14 dynasty. He may have also inspire NOI Yakub story which was based on Yaldabaoth and Enki story. NOI is a extraterrestrial Religion.
The Muslim conquest was according to Henri Pirenne, was used to split the Mediterranean world 🗺, and it also elevated Europe from barbarians to King Charlemagne.
Egypt had great Egyptian pharaohs Like Mentuhotep II and later Mentuhotep IV who was thought to have been killed by Amenmhat |, he had a relative named Sensusret |||, which they affiliated with the Hyksos.
The real King David is Psusennes I, Susanna bath book of Daniel is also based off of Psusennes I relationship with queen Bathsheba, King Solomon aka Amenemope (pharaoh) according to Ralph Ellis. Ralph Ellis says that Maatkare Mutemhat is the real queen SHeba.
Moses is obviously a Egyptian Name and Moses was a composite Character of Senusret ||| who conquered indigenous Europe and Senusret I , Moses was also based on Sargon of Akkad & Sennacherib and of course Akhenaten and his brother Thutmose with their dangerous Belief in Monotheism. The Real Moses was King Mesha of Moab and Thutmoses Akhenaten brother and Osarseph, the Real Prophet Joseph is The Egyptians/ Hyksos man named Anku, who is depicted with Red Hair. The real Abraham was real aged to Aamu of the Hyksos Cannanites, the tribe of Benjamin was Hyksos Pharaoh Apepi. Simon Magus in the treatise of the great Seth critique this bloodline of infiltrated Hyksos into Egyptians culture. Buddha criticize the False creator god who is Brahma = Yaldabaoth
The good Egyptians pharaohs was Ahmoses who work with the Medjay which predates Magi, who fought against Hyksos . Hatshepsut was a great Pharoh and Mentuhotep ||. The Jedi was based on the Djedi, Je’daii = Medjay, and Magi and Jedi sound similar. Ralph Ellis book The Grail Cypher, (Paula Gott book Josephus Jesus which shows Plutarch being Luke, Plutarch was a pagan who taught at the temple of Apollo, , he use riddles and Allegory like Philo.

The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH!

But I now know that there are conditions to every prayer (in the same way that our own children ask things of us and we are not ready to grant them until we know it is for their own good.) That's why it is important to read other verses which help us to understand the whole character and counsel of God. For instance James 4:3 says "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." Jesus didn't promise that all would be well in this life and prayers to avoid hardship or handle hardship better can both be answered to suit God's purposes.

Thats called hypocrisy. The Bible states in the old testament, that God *raised* mist from the *ground*, up into the *clouds*, to create *rain*. Now, any normal person would've just stated "oh, rain came from the clouds." Jesus is the sun. He is 666. 666 shining from above is the power that brings order to the chaos of earth. It is the masculine principle in action.
6,666 and 666, like 66, 6, 660, 60 are solar numbers and are connected with the circle and it’s six-fold geometry. In Islamic numerology 66 is the numerical equivalent of allah. In Judaism, the 6 pointed star or hexagram is the seal of Solomon. It appears in every branch of free masonry. The three angles of an equilateral triangle, 6 of which make up the hexagon are all of 60 degrees reflecting the solar number 666. In the Old Testament the weight of gold king Solomon would receive yearly at the temple was 666 talents. Gold is related to the sun in alchemical and kabalistic thought and the name Solomon is a combination of the three ancient names for the sun, sol(Latin), om(Hindi), on(Egyptian) for the sun. Also the vowel O, not only does it look like the sun but O is the 15th letter in the English alphabet and it is symmetricaly placed throughout the name three times. 1+5=6,1+5=6,1+5=6 (666). The number 666 is the number of the sun squared and it has twelve factors. Just as the sun has twelve signs of the zodiac and Solomon is the king of the twelve tribes of Israel.
The name Solomon by way of Greek gematria equates to the number 1260. The number 1260 is a ancient Jewish calculation used to measure solar years consisting of only 360 natural days. (A time) is a cycle of 360 degrees, (times) is two cycles or 720 degrees, (half time) 180 degrees. Adding these together we get 1260 degrees. The number 1260 was a measurement Ptolemy calculated to measure the mean distance of the sun. Nonagon a figure having nine sides and angles of which its interior angles total up to the sum of 1260 degrees. Nonagesimal, or nonagesimal degree , also called the mid heaven is the highest point or ninetieth degree of the elliptic intersecting the horizon.
      Revelations 13:18
Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man and his number is six hundred threescore and six.
We are told to count the number of the beast. The number 666 does not need to be counted or computed since it is openly given, so evidently there is another number behind it that needs calculating. That number lies in the final key phrase of revelation 13:18.
AND HIS NUMBER IS 666. By way of Greek gematria the value of the words in that phrase are 2,368, and that is the number of Jesus Christ the sun.

He was a man of simple appearance, mature age, black-skinned, short growth, 3 cubits tall, hunchbacked, with a long face, a long nose, eyebrows meeting above the nose, with scanty curly hair, but having a line in the middle of the head after the fashion of the Nazaraeans, with an undeveloped beard."
I'm sure I saw him sitting outside the gas station yesterday, after I filled my tank.

Thinking that Josephus can accurately describe Jesus would be like me describing some guy named Joe who died during the Great Depression. Josephus wrote this Roman history decades after Jesus was said to have been crucified. At best, Josephus heard a story about Jesus and wrote the story. There are also arguments that this was an interpolation made in the third century.

Unsaved? From what? An eternity in the presence of WHOM? Jahweh and Jesus? OK, let's see, starting with some Jahweh quotes:
Who does any work on the sabbath should be put to death. (Exodus 31:15)
      (People worshiping other Gods:
      )
Take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death. (Deuteronomy 17:2)
(An entire town whose people do not believe in Jahweh:
      )
You must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it (Deuteronomy 13:13-19)
Anyone who blasphemes the name of the LORD must be put to death. The entire assembly must stone him. (Leviticus 24:16)
All who curse their father or mother must be put to death (Leviticus 20:9)
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death (Leviticus 20:10)
If a one lies with a man like a man lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death.
      (Leviticus 20:13)
18 “If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them, 19 then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, 20 and they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This our son is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’ 21 Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel shall hear, and fear. (Deuteronomy 21:18-21)
And then watch this, and mind the date:
      friendlyatheist.pat...
      Some friendly advice from Jesus:
8 And if your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than with two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire. (Matthew 18:8-9)
      Women & Orderly worship:
As in all the churches of the saints, 34 the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. 35 If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. (1 Corinthians 14:34-35)
11 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 Yet she will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control. (1 Timothy 2:11-15)
Slavery, OT: f.i. Exodus 21, Leviticus 25. (Too much for here, but MOST revealing!)
Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative, 10 not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior. (Titus 2:9-10)
Isaiah 13 (Dashing little children to death), Hosea 13 (Ripping pregnant women open & dashing children in pieces), Numbers 31 (Kill the men and the women; you can keep the virgins for yourself).
The bible is riddled with hundreds of stipulations like these, and:
The word of our God will stand forever. (Isaiah 40:8)
The word of the Lord stands forever. (1 Peter 1:25)
iow... After having read the above, what about agreeing with, accepting in your heart, and believing the following:
The law of the Lord is perfect. (Psalm 19:7).
For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. (Says Jesus himself, about the [Old testamentical] Law in Matthew 5:18)
I'd say that even calling it batshit crazy would still be the understatement of the year. I'd prefer to be saved from THAT, for THIS is the TRUE essence of immorality and evil. Desiring it is the essence of wickedness and stupidity. It's utterly despicable, you know...
I say: Absolute, certified wickedness and stupidity. Now I'd like to ask you to tell me I'm wrong, and what it is that I don't understand according to 1 Cor. 2:14, and to please explain it to me as well; just imagine that I'd undertstand, as if I were your equal in that. Then please tell me that you honestly love Jahweh and Jesus.
"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness
unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Cor. 2:14, KJV.

People who haven't really STUDIED the Bible sort of grab onto a handful verses taken out of context and make them the basis of their argument. No theologian would agree based on Scripture that Jesus offered himself to be summoned at any time. Instead, he indicated through the Pentecost that he would be present through the Holy Spirit, i.e. he would reside in us.

A long time ago I went to "juvie" and the only book they would give me was the bible. I read the whole new testament and bits of the old(much of the old is a very dull read trust me). Anyway, I later went on to learn about evolution, physics, and have always been an avid observer of NASA space travel. Science tells us that the earth sun moon and stars were formed by elements from our periodic table, and that mountains and valleys are shaped by what's called entropy. (A simple but fascinating concept). And lastly, what I believe is the closest thing to "god" we have is....wait for it.......gravity. Educate yourselves people. Don't go through life with blind faith. Its a waste.

    • @aaronmilavec1579
      @aaronmilavec1579 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I'm sorry to say that your understanding of science is wanting.
You say, "Science tells us that the earth sun moon and stars were formed by elements from our periodic table." The periodic table is a compilation of information about the elements based upon the number of protons in the core of each atom. The periodic table does not give us any information regarding how the elements themselves were formed.
During the formation of the universe some 14 billion years ago in the so-called ‘Big Bang’, only the lightest elements were formed - hydrogen and helium along with trace amounts of lithium and beryllium. As the cloud of cosmic dust and gases from the Big Bang cooled, stars formed, and these then grouped together to form galaxies.
The other 86 elements found in nature were created in nuclear reactions in these stars and in huge stellar explosions known as supernovae. Only by understanding the nature and the evolution of stars can one explain how the heavier elements were formed that compose the earth and all living things on the earth. See details here: sciencelearn.org.nz
Entropy has nothing to do with the formation of mountains on the earth's crust. For this, one has to understand tectonic plates and how their collision results in the formation of mountain ranges. See pnsn.org/outreach/about-earthquakes/plate-tectonics
The bible is not a book of science. It does not and cannot explain how the heavier elements were formed or how mountains were formed. The stories in Genesis were narrated by a tribe of Hebrews over a thousand years ago. The importance of Gen 1 is that "the Force" that constructed the universe as we know it is also "the Force" that designed life in its many forms on the face of the Earth. Gen 1 insures us that "the Force" placed a design within everything created that is essentially "good" (benevolent, productive, and harmonious). The seven-fold repetition of the phrase, "And God saw that it was good," means that we can trust that humans and the natural world are not in conflict or antagonistic to each other because "the Force" is unified and has imprinted an overall design upon every aspect of the natural order. Science, for its part, is about discovering the magnificent design behind the formation of the heavier elements and the mountains. . . .
Gen 1 also presupposes that there is no conflict between humans and animals. To accomplish this, however, Gen 1 is consistent in showing that the Creator had the design of NOT giving the birds, fish, and animals to the humans for food. Earthlings are designed to be entirely plant and fruit eaters (today we would say "vegetarian"):
God said, "See, I have given you [humans] every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food." And it was so (Gen 1:29-30).
This rule, however, gets changed after the flood.

Humans have constructed huge supercolliders to observe what happens when they send particles moving through space at such high speeds that the electrons are ripped out of their orbits around the nuclei of the atoms. They're trying to understand what is the mysterious and infinitely powerful unseen force that holds those electrons in those orbits so firmly and powerfully that it takes insane amounts of centrifugal force created in an artificial environment that is 20 miles in circumference to break that bond. This force that holds everything together in observable and unobservable existence, and the energy that is released when the bond is broken, transcends, permeates and affects everything in its event horizon across time and dimension and even parallel universes. This force is LOVE, and it is the essence of God that literally comprises everything, everyone, everywhere; past, present and future, parallel, simultaneous and intertwined. The energy created when the bonds holding electrons in orbit around countless adjacent atomic nuclei are broken, in proximity, is, in a sense, what happens when humans tear asunder what God hath joined together.

Now, that endoreality is normally built on the basis of our sensory input. Don't forget Jesus, like Muhammed later and Elijah ( 2 Kings 2 1-18) earlier went up to heaven, i.e. the sky, which was heaven as far as ancients were concerned. So they should all still be up there having a party....except they are not up there at all. All fiction I'm afraid....

... Yahweh/God/"Father" isn't real nor is Jesus. If they were we would live in a horrible world. Why? Because Yahweh is a massmurderer, mercilessly killing children of other nations and killing many in a set of unfair wars skewed for Israel. He was obsessed with the death penalty and demanded people have rocks thrown at them until they become a bloody lump of skin for every little thing!
The whole story of the Bible is horrid:
He is an unforgiving piece of shit. Instead of forgiving humanity for the sin of ONE HUMAN, Eve, he punishes humanity by sending them all to hell. Then he sends Jesus down, tortures him in hell for three days, and now all of a sudden only MOST of humanity has to go to hell? No that's horrible! He demands people worship him or be tortured eternally.
He is a silly, fake, barbaric war god of the Israelite Pantheon.

And dont try to say "thats not what it meant" if i took your parents car and they caught me and was about to call the police, so i told them YOU said i could do it? You would simply say you didnt say that, and they would call the cops.
So me simply saying your name isnt good enough, it would have to be in your name (will) for your parents not to call the cops.
