  • This instructional guide will provide a step-by-step procedure on how to install NVIDIA Driver and CUDA on Kali Linux, a Debian-based operating system. By following the instructions provided, you will be able to successfully install the necessary drivers and tools required for your NVIDIA graphics card to function optimally on your system.
    Since the steps are similar on Parrot OS, you can use the exact instructions that I made for Parrot OS.
    ➡️ Step-by-step instruction: bit.ly/46teM8b
    ➡️ Uninstall instruction: bit.ly/46seUEU

    For my case it boots up to a blinking cursor after disabling nouveau, the cursor stops blinking after few seconds but nothing happens after, doing crtl + alt + f1~6 does nothing, only crtl + alt + delete works, which is rebooting the computer

    I've been watching many videos because always the blaklist step seemed hacky, but thankfully everyone does it the same.
    One thing you didn't do was installing dependencies, something others do is letting the nvidia.run disable nouveau, after viewing more videos I prefer doing it manually since it doesn't seem like "hacking", I would also think going into other higher tty would be better, also you don't stop your display manager, gdm3, sddm or whatever you might be using.

    • @sysadmin102
      @sysadmin102  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      nvidia.run sometimes doesn't actually disable nouveau. I refer to do it manually. I'm already in console mode, what the point of disabling lightdm? What dependencies?
