I'm so incredibly thankful to everyone who came on for this episode. This was my attempt at making an episode feel as important as the game i was covering. And while i will leave it to the viewers to decide if it was properly pulled off, it wouldnt have had any weight to it without the support of everyone who came on to help it feel that way. Hey new viewers! Just want to say youre welcome to comment whatever your heart desires but just know that if its about how i say room or the guests. I've got the message and the advice has been applied to future episodes (well i still got to work on saying room)

I don't get what the fuss about the way you say "room" is. It didn't occur to me until I started reading the comments.
I also want to make it clear that it's only one particular guest, and we all know which one. Every other guest was absolutely fine and added to the video. Different voices should match the tone you set, or compliment it, for a good viewing experience. Zeltik at 20:35 was a good example, as was Zelda Informer and Zelda Universe. I'm sure there are others. Informative, concise with some small insights I appreciated.
It's no understatement that the guest made this actually difficult to watch, a real shame for one of the highest-profile games. But the rest of it was good stuff. Keep on doing what you're doing.

you need more viewers. So much work was put into this.
You've gotta love the sheer optimization and minimalism that went into the environments in this game. In a lot of games, we are marveling at how many details were left in that you would never see, but here we are amazed at how much is being left out just barely outside of view. It seems like they went through everything with a fine tooth comb to make sure that they were using the bare minimum number of polygons to get the job done.
It’s amazing how optimized(I will get destroyed for saying that) this game was with the usage of its memory limits. It truly is a marvel lol.

Half of the time HMK is making unnecessary connections to the room, and making conclusions with little to no information to back up his claims. HMK doesn't describe the test room at all, and tries (yet fails) to be funny
Zelda Informer shows professionalism, describing what a Test Room is, what it is used for, and what the stage contains. Zelda Informer also uses his lines to transition into jokes such as the "Ah, maybe I'm just reading too much Fanfic.", and also comes up with a logical conclusion as to what the test room was.
Please, get more people like Zelda Informer for your guests.

I love how Link's face keeps screwing up in cutscenes. I have no clue as to why, it's just amusing to see him suddenly derp out.
I'm actually surprised to see the animation in Ganon's body. I guess I never really picked up on it while playing the game, but the way his snout and jaw jostle about really adds a bit of visceral weight to it. Helps sell the pig monster aspect. I also like his trident, nice shout-out to the older games.

I mean, to be fair, he's not always like this in videos. You should hear him in theory videos: he's very calm and relaxed.
But tbh, I enjoy his more "out there," "wild" side of things. That's what attracted me to his channel in the first place. And to see him get so excited in this video put a smile on my face. He's just oozing with love for this series, so it's hard for me not to love him when he gets like this.
I guess that sort of personality can come off "obnoxious" to some people, but I digress.
Fun video but it's interesting how you had both extremes of undesirable voices in one video, hahah. You had HMK that couldn't figure out that he's in a video that's supposed to be a little more professional than he's capable of. Then you have "Zelda Informer" that has that type of voice where every sentence begins and ends in the same tones creating a grating and unpersonable sound.

2. 7:00 you can actually tell which "portals" lead to the next scene or lead to the entrance without cheating as well. The "triangle" portals appear to have a gradient from black to grey, whereas the other portals are flat black.
3. I just realized the shop keeper in Kokiri Forest looks like Bobby Hill
There's an audible clue, as well. Whenever you slowly approach a portal, the music for those that lead you back to Kokiri Forest diminishes while for those that let you continue, the music remains strong.

I really like all of your other content. This one appears to be from when you were getting started and doesn't have as nice of a polish to it as your newer videos. It would be cool if you revisited OoT sometime without the other guests - as they added nothing to this video except a horrible change in tone and a break in immersion.

+MichaelChin1994 It makes sense why sonics was Fast and Colourful. Since his games are normally fast and colourful. Zelda is slower paced. And normally just has the player walk everywhere. So it makes sense why this intro was slower paced. Also keep up the Great Work! I think the game series's like Zelda, Mario and sonic should all have just one intro for the game series. Since then it would be easier. And also make it so you wouldn't have to make multiple intros for the same game series.

God, I couldn't watch half of this video. Look, I love your content, you have a really quaint and transparent style to you, and the rest of your stuff is very informative, so you've earned my sub tenfolds, bro. But certain guests in this video were... less than entertaining. Your video style is toned down, quiet, welcoming, some dad jokes strewn in here and there, very much a video after my own heart. I don't expect to hear false overreactions, blind cussing and word vomit.
I have to agree with you as well, but not completely. I didn't have any problem watching this until the end, but the other guests commentaries just didn't mesh well with Shesez's. They were all completely different commentary styles, so it was just really inconsistent and weird watching it. That's really my main issue. The commentaries on there own were fine, although I didn't care for the very unnecessary cursing either.

what's interesting about the volvagia room is that there are actually two volvagias.
One is always underground and an even be hit before the battle and during the time the other one takes flight.
Speedrunners use bombs to reach the underground volvagia or damage him before the fight starts by glitching themselves underground and shooting arrows.

As for the Twitch streamer, it turns out that he didn't die (no, really?) but simply just didn't stream that day which was the most plausible answer to that question. Now, I'm not familiar with Twitch so I don't know if everything I just said is true but it is to my knowledge. Could be completely wrong so I encourage that you search up the origin of the ligma hoax for yourself.

I've just started watching your channel today, and your content is really well done! Only thing that honestly affected this video negatively was your inclusion of HMK. Not hating on HMK or anything like that. But I felt his style and tone didn't match the feel and tone of the other guests. Kinda took you out of the feeling of the video. I actually kept skipping his segments unfortunately. I'm sure HMK is a good content creator. But his video style in this episode really made it feel like I was watching two different videos at points.
I think I can explain link being in most if not all scenes in the game. Some engines for games require certain assets to be present at all times so they can be called on easily, sometimes it's just for the convenience of not having to respawn him later with a bunch more code.
I did the same thing in college when making a 2D game, every asset I had had to have a reference for it to be called or else it wouldn't work

Now I knew the Super Smash Bros stage was supposed to be similar to the castle in ocarina of time, but I didn't know that it was almost EXACTLY THE SAME.
Also, as for the thing with all of King Dodongo changing color, you have to remember that for most models, their texture is a single flat image aligned in such a way to fit with the model. Sort of like those cardboard folding toys you make as a kid. So what the devs did to King Dodongo was they just turned the contrast value of his texture up further.
