I am not a professional investor and have never claimed to be. I'm an amateur investor sharing my experience of what I've learned, where I have had success, and where I've had failures. I share my thoughts on investing and performance with transparency. My approach and goal to investing is to buy high-quality long-term investments in world-class businesses that I call "compounders". I view my investments as businesses, not as stocks. Before creating content on TH-cam full time I worked as a senior-level programmer for 8 years. I think you should flex your pricing power and charge all new Patreon members $12/month and to all the OG Members with your Discord at least as long as me, charge us $9/month. I immediately see an issue with this. Just ignore that.
Monster is unstoppable. Monster is an absolute compounding MACHINE!!! Like a Texas roadhouse on steroids.
My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
Is there any chance you could recommend who you work with? I've wanted to make this switch for a very long time now, but I've been very hesitant about. I'll appreciate any recommendation.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thanks a lot for this recommendation. I just looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
"nikola, the fraud company" 😂😂😂
Well, that IS what they're selling
fraud sells, what can I say
@@LZentertainments true, in fact theyve commited more fraud than they have sold cars (which is 0)
😅 It's funny because what else have they really accomplished?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
As always, a great analysis. Newcomers often wonder if it's too late to navigate the financial market, but the market is always unpredictable. Trading has more advantages than simply holding, so it's important to learn before diving in. Active trades are necessary to ride the market's waves. Thanks to Flora Elkin’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k. Kudos to the journey ahead!
It's unexpected to come across her name here. She understands every beginner’s intention and fix you to a trading course that matches your capacity, she knows her stuff! Her advice has been invaluable to my trading journey. Definitely worth giving a shot!
It is really refreshing to see a comment about Flora Elkin.I have worked with her also for months now, reached out after reading more about her on the internet. she simplifies matters, whether it's a market surge or drop; her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the trend, She's a guru i'll say
Investing has proven to be an incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary
Nice to see this here, Flora Elkin's understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profit. her siignals are top notch
Over the years, I've been a part of numerous trading programs, sifting through a barrage of information. Yet, nothing has come close to the sheer clarity, depth, and precision of Flora's insights. It's akin to finding a diamond in a coal mine.
As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?.
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder.
Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. So yes i think every investor should consider a similar approach.
Glad to have stumbled on this comment, Please who is the consultant that assist you and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch with them?
Her name is ‘Michele Katherine Singh’. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up after scrolling a bit. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks
Palantir :the black box conmpany - nobody know wtf is going on inside and what they do
We're moving form free world to soviet commie govt ruled world
lol. It's for those who haven't worked in the software industry and think they know what it does and how it is going to change the world
Old talking points. New technology is confusing to the ignorant. What they do is not a mystery if you do some research.
Careful now you'll upset the cultists. I see you have two replies already claiming they're just smarter. Lmao
I went to their recruiting event a few years ago. They couldn’t tell any of us what projects we were even getting recruited for 😂 it was so sketch
Kept $105k in CIT Bank HYSA at 5.05% but i now plan to invest in the stock market. What are your thoughts on that? What stocks should I look out for as a newbie to safely grow my money?
I’m taking the hybrid approach, VOO, SCHD as my foundation, with growth like MA, UNH, HD. And slow growth like O and PEP. I have a 20 year time horizon. But the best part is I still enjoy my life while I do this. Travel, and buy ONLY things I love. It’s the best combo, plus I love the small victories with receiving dividends/dividend growth/share price appreciation.
VGT is an excellent portfolio addition, but relying solely on it for retirement may not be optimal. I retired at 62, grew my portfolio to $3.4 million in little over 10 years through the help of a fiduciary and dividends now supplement my retirement income. Invest wisely, build your nest egg, and don't sell the chicken that lays the egg!
Your fiduciary seems highly competent. May I ask if you are still working with the same fiduciary, and if so, could you share how I can contact them?
Certainly, I am still working with Camille Anne Hector. Having her in my corner has been a game-changer for my financial well-being. Her ability to simplify complex financial concepts and provide tailored solutions is commendable. Camille's passion for her work shines through, making the financial planning process not only effective but also enjoyable.
Excellent share, just inputted her full name on my computer and searched online, top-notch credentials. I've seen commentaries about advisers, but not one looks this phenomenal.
My coworker was a big monster drinker, he then switched to Celsius in late 2020 early 2021. . That should have been my sign to at least look into it.
yup i messed up too lol
What a scumbag move for Nikola to strike your content. Can't wait for them to go bankrupt.
I really enjoy your content
$PLTR drop 8% post. My only problem with this company is I have no idea what it really does😅
It builds AI weapons.
Glad everything worked out with regard to copyright use.
When I become eventually wealthy, shoutout to The Joseph Carlson Show
I feel like this man deserves a performance bonus from my portfolio 😂😂
Absolutly not first one

Celsius: in Germany we have store owned brands by Lidl, Aldi and other stores that are really highly appreciated by customers. Also, there are Energy drinks that taste great and are below 0.50€ per .5 Liter can. Unbeatable. Many brands struggle in Germany and frankly, to me this shows where we’re heading on international level. Vertical integration by the stores by offering own brands.
What do you think about duolingo?
Hi Joseph, do you think TXRH is a buy right now?
I Joseph long time follower. Your channel always hits the mark with your business analysis. Saves me lots of time to get you perspective. Cheers 😊
Love the content. Best finfluencer on TH-cam today!
AMC part is hilarious lol
That was a great comparison, VF Corp and Crocs.
Quick thoughts on CROX...
1. Ideal shoe for overweight people (comfortable, wide foot-box, no need to bend down to tie laces) and 72% of Americans are overweight.
2. Popular sandal in hot asian countries (easy on/off when entering rooms, cool airflow, height-enhancing soles). I spot Crocs on many train-commuters in Bangkok and the small physical store at my local mall usually has a family browsing inside.
Ultimately, I think CROX has a strong market in both western and eastern hemispheres, strong customer loyalty, and a strong brand-moat. I made a small position last week, and we'll see what happens from here.
Hi Joseph, can you talk about Nike
I actually had no idea that you called up Nikola and threatened legal action. Awesome!
celcius and starbuck is now in the energy industry
😂
I bought the dip on Netflix and it's bouncing back at this very moment.... woot~woot~!!!!
Well done video
Great Joseph, you finally covered Ferrari, thank you! Was waiting since 2019, but I get how unlikely it is for non-american companies to steal the show in the US.
I would be curious to hear your thoughts on Arista and Arm, as others have pointed out, but I guess it’s still too early…until it’s not. My thought here is how do we find the Celsiuses when it’s very early, if we only ever focus on predictable established companies? And how do we know we’re not getting into a Nikola? Does it make sense to invest a small amount in 10 small stocks? Some will fail, go bankrupt, but we only need 1 to be successful. I don’t recall you ever covering such dilemma, what’s your thought?
I want more content like this.
PLTR trades at the most insane valuation
I own PLTR in my roth.
Voting machine to weighing machine - Brilliant!!
Hey Joseph, what do you think of $VRT? they provide cooling for Data Centers.
What do you think of MELI as an online retail store, compared to AMZN?
Enjoyable 😉
This will be a very interesting week for me. I'm looking for entry into $PLTR, and hold sizeable positions in $CELH, $CROX, $ANET, and $SHOP.
Celsius looks so strong right now, waiting for a dip to get in. Do you mind sharing your purchase price?
@@zachsenyk192 i bought it at 51 and made the mistake of selling at 63 (hindsight 20/20 i know). i then watched it go up every day while waiting for a pullback to buy in. then it reached the 90's and i bought it at 82 when it came back down. generally speaking, warren buffet said it best; don't wait for market corrections. you'll likely just miss out. now it's beneath 82 and i need good earnings just to break even. cautionary tale right here.
@@zachsenyk192 Around $23, I bought it in 2022 and 2023.
Someone owning Costco and Apple calling PLTR expensive. SMH
He's been ripping on PLTR since it was sub $10. I'll keep accumulating. Once they get S&P inclusion we should see a real nice bump
Does Celsius has 4x the acceptable amount of cyadine?
The only thing missing from your AMC presentation is the amount of dilution that happened and how much insiders sold at the top.
It costs $50 to see a movie? Sheesh.
$20-30 for a ticket and times two to cover for popcorns and a drink 😂
Give us an update on your ROTH
Joseph I think pltr is undoubtedly highly priced but long term it is in my opinion a long term compounding machine. But I might just have a bias because I hold the stock
Nvidia wiill lead the market up or down. 😊
Why not covering the trade desk?
AMC: It's only down 97.77%... ouch! 🤬🤬
Money is not meant to control people rather it is meant to be put to work producing more money for you. You cannot build wealth without putting money in its rightful place...
People don't understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments don't match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.
Very possible! especially at this moment. Profits can be made in many different ways, but such intricate transactions should only be handled by seasoned market professionals.
Having an investment advisor is the best way to go about the stock market right now. I was going solo, but it wasn't working. I've been in touch with an advisor for a while now, and just last year, I made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Jeff demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
Hi Joseph.I like your videos, want to know your views on zoom video communication.
Joseph about to get another call from Nikola😂
I like the "psychology" analysis
Another thing to consider with Celsius vs Starbuck's is that Celsius you buy at Costco and have it at home. So you aren't making an extra trip to get that caffeine fix, plus some people are still working from home at least part time. Some folks like the ritual/routine of popping into their local Starbuck's/insert any coffee shop in here, but some folks are cutting back and an easy way to do that is either make your coffee at home or grab a drink from your Costco stash.
Ferrari is not a company, Tesla is not a car company. What a time to be alive 😂
Hi Joseph, I signed up for Patreon but all I’m seeing is old videos from 22. How do I contact your team please
Patreon.com is really just used as a payment terminal. All the conversation, videos, exclusive content, posts about trades happen on the discord community. You should have been sent an email with the link to the discord towards the bottom where it says "join the conversation". If you didn't, just message me on Patreon and I can get back to you today with a link to join the discord.
Are you also a geriatric millennial like me? The whole Discord thing for me is like watching great grandpa use a new new iPhone.
@@JosephCarlsonAfterHoursI’m using the app on iPhone, there’s no prompts to contact. Do I need to use a laptop?
Surprised you didnt mention LYFT when you were talking about UBER, especially when you raised the topic of network effect.
Also do you mind sharing your thoughts on doordash (DASH) company?
You can buy 4 pack of Starbucks Doubleshot cans no more you can buy 1 can of Celsius, we are talking about differences in pennies.
Celsius stock just recently split so it was even higher.
I'm holding a good portion in BDCs in Mr retirement acct while the interest rates stay elevated. Has been doing well.
it's 00:55 in my time and about to go to sleep, but then that joseph uploads his video, at least he acknowledges dune
(also can you talk about Arista networks please)
if Celsius performs ill buy myself a can again
HOW DO YOU NOT GO OVER ARM??
I made the mistake of buying the dip on VF Corp. It's still dipping.
good time to add vici and o right now. Less risk to the downside unless rates make it to say 10% which i doubt
It is absolutely hilarious how NKLA is a penny stock now
There never was a streaming war between Netflix and Disney. I don't know why you bring this up. You want to watch Disney, you have to buy Disney. That was the point of Disney. Mismanagement of their Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney IP has angered their fan base. Fact is Netflix can't touch Disney's IP. Disney was never interested in Netflix IP. Disney wanted to control its own IP and monetize it into a streaming service. They felt their IP was so strong that they could do this. It is. They need to get the IP back on track. The biggest problem Disney faces right now is declining TV cable revenue due to competition from their streaming business and total garbage handling of their IP, especially their Marvel and Star Wars properties. Competition with Netflix was never the goal as if Disney handles their IP well, Netflix has nothing to compete with their IP. This literally forces consumers to pay for Disney, which doesn't require they give up Netflix.
DIS is trash
hey joe, i'm glad to see that you've kinda switched your stance on celsius. At first you seemed to loop it in with monster and c4 but pointing out the positives now is nice to see. i personally have a large position in it so naturally i'm hoping for the best tomorrow. we'll see
CAVA?
What do you think of ET? (Energy Transfer). They’ve shown growth over the past year with a high dividend yield. Would love to hear you insights 👍🏽
pltr bought back 1B worth of shares, increased revenue from commercial buisness increased 40% y/y with 68% increase in customers, definitely undervalued
I'd argue ARM, Roblox and Unity are all impactful companies
Agree
I suggest looking what Unity did a year to undestand why their management belongs to r/wallstreetbets
why does nikola still exist? they have nothing
monster energy drinks has a fucking choke hold on every blue collar worker in america
Lovely episode as usual ❤️
I only don’t know why you hate semiconductors companies, arm was just there 🙃
how come nobody ever makes a video called "this week is going to be boring as hell"
Pessimists don’t create
@SophiavandenBerg Actually it would be interesting if the channel was benjamin. the satire is good
Nikola what a marvelous company..lol
i personally like amazon, this company have everything in it. Netflix is drooling at amazon and it will never be lol
Make a video on TXRH and what a new fair value is for this company. It keeps going up and I need a dip to buy in
I feel lucky that I bumped onto your channel when I started my journey.
As a beginner I was just picking companies I like, but you helped me find out what to look at while searching for new companies.
Keep up the good work, Joe! 👏
Asians love to sit in starbux and do their homework
I've been watching Joseph for 2 or 3 years. Never knew he had kids lol
vici is down 12% but you've also collected a 6%+ dividend yield. that's better than a kick in the teeth.
celsius is the future of energy drinkns for athletes. no doubt
ur still early on this one. I see these things so just like crocs. A peter lynch stock just buy and buy
crocs has another 5 years before it goes out of style
“Apple did better than expected”?? Sure.🤔
Joseph, you TOTALLY missed an opportunity to say, "For Disney's streaming competition against Netflix, that CRUISE ship has sailed." 😜
Are you really comparing Disney to WB?? Bit of a stretch
Has anyone else read Alex Karps’s shareholder letters? I would not want to own any company where that guy is steering the ship
When video txrh
“We have Nikola, the fraud company”😂😂
Only 1 point on the CELH topic. I sold BROS and went in on CELH because people are hooked on caffeine so when things get tight, people will choose to buy energy drinks in bulk at 1.33 per unit at the costco price vs SBUX or BROS $6-8 drink per unit. Way cheaper to drink a Celh vs overpriced generic coffee!
I paused it while typing that and then you immediately addressed my Bull thesis jaha
Joseph can (or do) you compare VICI & O to VNQ. To appreciate their performance with respect to the entire sector. Which REITs are making money in this sector? Over the last 5 years a stock like ExtraSpace Storage stands out in the sector
I've never known you to produce comedy content but talking about the Earnings predictions for *absolute joke* of companies is hilarious.
If you want worse than AMC, look at Fisker, a EV company that is down 99,53% since the IPO.
The stock was at 28,50 in 2021, now it's at...0,45.
Joseph, can you make a video on why you think AXP has far outperformed V and MA the last 1-5 years? I know you own MA but never talk about AXP.
Disney seems to be a blind spot for you.
hims earning is also today
The only reason i hold AMC is that you get freebies for being an investor.
No PE ratio 😂
Crocs arent comfortabel at all lol idk why poeple say they are
You're asking who's buying Nikola shares. I think it's retail investors... you know the kind of people to buy GME, AMC etc...I've seen the company mentioned quite a bit on Reddit in the last year. It died down since the new year's, as electric vehicles don't have retail hype anymore.
Ffs Joe, burned by Disney. I'm still bullish and plan on holding. I was once 40% up😂...this video aged well
You got Ferrari wrong. There a subscription company. They tell people what car there making and you hope your lucky enough to get on the list.
Im pretty sure he talked disparagingly about PLTR when it was in the trenches below $9. Which is funny he’s talking it up now because nothing about the company and its business model has changed other than its value is finally being realized. The multipolar world we’re going into means that PLTR will go further up.
Isn’t that what you want from an analyst? A company proves profitable so you upgrade your rating. He never said Palantir was a bad company, he said it had low predictability, negative free cash flow, and high stock based comp.
Yup. The story for companies changes according to the balance sheet changes , profitability changes etc.
If you go in when the numbers are bad, you are gambling, regardless of the possible story (e.g rivian).
Looks like JC was exactly right. Down 15% because it’s difficult to value at this point and extremely unpredictable and volatile. Which is specifically what he tries to avoid in his style of investing. For the record I personally am interested in Palantir but I can see why someone would avoid it
