Actually Skálmöld means age of swords and kvaðning means the call. The whole album tells the story of a Viking farmer, Baldur, whose kinsmen and cattles were slaughtered by ghosts from Hel and his journey of retaliation. This one specifically describes Baldur's determination before he ever sets foot on the battlefield.
skálmold is a reference to a certain time in Iceland where there was a lot of killing between clans and followers in Iceland shortly after the country was settled, in times of the Vikings
