Die overseas Shows kann man zwar nicht vergleichen mit den japanischen aber sie sind trotzdem immer sehr toll zu erleben!

Opeth was my favorite band for over 20 years, even through the last 4 albums where I was disappointed that they chose a full-on prog route with no growling. This is Opeth V3 blending their past eras into a new one. I love the new drummer. I always loved Martin Lopez and was sad to see him go (saw him in Soen a few weeks ago). I was not a huge Axenrot fan. I am excited to see them for the 10th time next month.

Their live is always best with subs. They try to replay the strong emotional pain of the character within the lyrics. Each song expresses different types of emotional pain from different situations. The band's concept is "pain"

After all that this band has given us, they could poop on a plate, and I'd be happy. So it's super-extra-bonus-awesome that the new stuff is...just great.

Oh this is nice! Not fond of the organ-sounding thingy in the beginning, but when it picks up and he starts singing it's proper dark and great sounding! More synths than I'm used to in Opeth, I think? I prefer when he sings like this and they always have nice transitions in their songs :) They don't have a single bad album! Quite an accomplishment

A few decades ago I did a graveyard shift and decided to play MORNINGRISE in full. The sun literally rose when this song concluded. It was one of the most magical musical moments I’ve experienced. I’ve been in love with this band ever since. Long Live Opeth. 🤘🏽
